  Bonjourno my wonderful fellow game-o-holics

  Hello and welcome to the wonderful world of Tyrone. I've been stalking in the shadows posting a thread or a reply here and there and now it's time to introduce myself to anyone who cares!

  As a child I was practically fed spectrum ZX games instead of milk. I grew up with gaming being a large part of my life, however I have always been able to seperate my gaming lifestyle from my real world friends.

  I'm now 25 and currently been out of work for 4 months.... Yes FOUR months! In this time I've been able to spend (a large proportion of) my time reflecting upon games old and new and to be honest it has left me a little hollow. Like a drug I'm constantly trying to find that same initial high I felt when I discovered true story found from Monkey Island or Another World. Discovery and adventure from the likes of Secret of Mana and the feeling of awe inspired by Powermonger (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powermonger). Unfortunately I believe this comes with growing up and I'm sure ten years down the line people will be talking about the good old days of the shooter and the remakes.

  I know it's out there somewhere held within the mind of a genius. A game, perhaps a genre... that invokes that same joyus childlike feeling of something new and exciting.
