  WTF Are you doing Wal-Mart?

  Well after reading an article on digg (might be inacurrate but i wouldnt be suprised if it were true) that Wal-Mart would be putting "M" rated games in a black plastic wrap (such as what one might see on an Adult Magazine) that would cover 3/4 of the case. This is ridiculous and it will make parents more paranoid about these games. Now imagine you walk into Wal-Mart and you walk through the game section and you see a copy of Halo 3 3/4 of the way covered by a black wrap showing only the title and a small part of Master Chief's Helmet. This is absolutely absurd for several reasons. One of which is that the point of these plastic wraps is to cover explicit or things that may not be suitable for children. But is a picture of a soldier on the cover of CoD4 not suitable for children? I understand that an arguement can be made that this is a good thing to do but there are so many more arguements on why it's a bad idea. If this does occur I shall no longer purchase video games from Wal-Mart although i rarely do i shall not support such intolerence that has been shown throughout the media towards games and other popular culture.

  Findings/ Thoughts On My BLAG

  Ah well here are some of my thoughts and findings about the console war and random interweb stuff. In case you havent noticed from the blag and interweb comments i am a fan of xkcd. Ok well one of my thoughts is ps3 needs another price cut. I have a 1st gen 60gb but now that theyve gotten the production price down to 400 they could go down to 300 bux with the 40gb. My next thought is on the consoles. First off i feel that the 360 is essintially a ps2 on steroids which is what makes a it a good console like the ps2. However the ps3 sort of did everything the xbox did: it released later, it had more powerful hardware, and had fewer huge release games. Im mad in a way right now about Haze being delayed then i realized that i have many other games to play then like DMC 4, Turning Point Fall of Liberty, Army of Two, Turok, Lost Planet, Viking: Battle for Asgard(maybe), and cod4 online some more. Now i dont mind the delay of haze as long as it doesnt turn into a Duke Nukem Forever.
