Hey guys, like the images? I was getting bored with the current styIe so I decided to mix it up a little. And I'm early this week because... I'm bored. Yeah, that's it, just bored. Any caption that disses Jack Thompson wins Kidding, but really, I think that is the only explanation for his madness, that he thinks the world really is like that. That one there is from Little Big Planet, a game I didn't care about until yesterday when I watched a few gameplay videos. It looks very fun, even if it is aimed at casuals and looks rather childish at first glance. Sorry if it's a bad image to caption but GS doesn't have many caption-worthy LBP screenshots (I had to use Google to get that one).

So, I found out recently, via this thread, that most people on the AU board hate me. Why ?!?! I thought I was cool woth most of you. I'm gonna go hang myself. Kidding people, I'm not taking it seriously. If you hate me that's fine. Go to Giant Bomb to escape me, I don't care. That's another thing I wanted to talk about - what is so good about Giant Bomb? It has no AU content, the forums are basically OT+SW x 10, the layout sucks, and the reviewers, while good, are not gods. I give it a few months before it starts to go downhill... Oh wait, it already has! Apparently, I haven't been there much, and don't plan to, but from what I saw it runs really slowly and the users on the forums are immature ****s. Wow, you can swear, get over it. If I ask a question I don't want to have to wade through 90 swear words just to find an answer. there - /GiantBomb rant. Oh, and if you think I'm a GS fanboy then read the thread, I explained why I'm not and can't be bothered saying it again. Other than that, nothing has been happening. I haven't really been playing games much, no new ones to occupy me, but I get paid... soon actually, maybe the moneys in my account already. So yeah, I will hopefully get something new, I'm looking at Battlefield Bad Company or UTIII.

Got paid, didn't get BF:BC or UT III, I ended up getting Bioshock, DOA4 and PGR3 (again) in some pre-owned 3 pack from EB. And got Traci Harding's newest book, The Black Madonna and book 2 of the Well of Echoes series (that I started last week) Tetrarch.

Getting tired of the images yet? The above image speaks for itself, and it'll only show itself when a special feature comes along. I define a "special feature" as something that I don't do often. It could be a rant, first impressions, a review, you get the idea. Or would you like to see sperate images for the seperate items - that is, one for rants, another for reviews, and so on?

But, onto the feature - this week it's first impressions of Bioshock and DOA4. I'll start with Bioshock. What can I say - it's great! I love the plasmids, and having security bots you've hacked follow you around, and the Big Daddies, I love them too, though I thought they would be tougher (I'm not too far but I assume that they will get tougher) I love it how the Daddies leave you alone if you don't attack them, that way you can just go about your business and have them stomping around and generally being intimidating nearby.

DOA4: well, I'm kinda torn on that. On one hand it's a good fighter, characters are good, levels good, moves... a little meh but I've been mostly mashing so far . And then you've got the other hand. The frustrated hand. Why? Because the computer opponents always reverse your moves, yet I have no idea how to reverse moves myself! The manual doesn't tell you, or if it does then it's hidden somewhere, and there is no tutorial mode, just training, which basically shows you how to do the combos. But even though I was frustrated quite a bit, I still like it. No matter how many times I lost, I didn't give up and I only have one character left to unlock. Plus it has great BFX (If there's nothing under the link then wait a while, I just submitted it).

Thankyou for tuning into "The Captionator"'s LIVE 20th anniversary party! Here we will be showing you what to expect in the next editions of "The Captionator"! First up, something nobody cares about! Next a rip off of another caption contests ideas! Then something really good, but we're not going to tell you anything about it! But wait, heres one you've already captioned! And lastly, something so easy - it's already captioned for you!!!

In case you couldn't tell that was my E3 conference. Yep, that's basically all that was done at this years E3 conferences - rip off the other consoles, announce stuff nobody cares about, announce stuff people already knew about, announce some good stuff then not expand on it, and, well that last one was just a dig at Wii Music, a game that looks like a flailing baby could do well in. But it's not finished, and I hope we hear something new, otherwise I'm going to shoot something. But that's enough of the E3 bitterness, onwards!

The winner last week was Uncledean54 with: "The fight continues in Balga as to who will get to steal the clapped out commodore..." If you don't know where Balga is it's a suburb here in Perth with really bad crime. Mostly due to all the aboriginals living around there. And runner up was a hard one because they were all good, but I just had to give it to Riftinducer403. And now to this weeks:

From Madworld, a Wii exclusive that looks like it'll be banned or at least edited for release down here. I wanted to get a shot of the dude with the crazy hair that was playing the drums during the Wii Music part of the Nintendo conference but couldn't find one. Oh well.

PNs - Yes, I have started work. What can I say about it? Right now it's hard because I don't really know too much and I've had to keep asking my workmates what to do, but I think (I hope) I've caught on pretty fast. I worked pretty much all day Monday (9 - 5:45) and yesterday I went from 8:45 to 3:15. Then I've got the late night shopping shift on Thursday - 4 until 9:15. It's so funny, all the hype around the iPhone is giving us good business but it deserves none of it. If you've been checking the forums then you'll know I posted a thread on it, and it can't do some really basic stuff like Bluetooth and MMS. Anyway, work is alright, not fun but not torture. My only real complaint is that I'm standing almost all day, so even though I've had today off and have been sitting down most of today, my legs still hurt. But if it's not busy then I can sit down and mess around with the phones (yes we are allowed to do that, the manager said I actually should do it) Other than that I haven't really been doing anything, I got a new book, Geomancer by Ian Irvine, which is good and starts off the Well of Echoes series. I've got and read The View from the Mirror and that's a good series, and this sort of follows on from it. Sort of. It's not a sequel per se but it takes place after the first books and references to the events and characters that took place in them.

I think I'll do this for more animes so look out each week, I'll do the closing credits for R+V next week then I'll upload the opening credits for something else, then closing credits and repeat that cycle.

Yep, that time of the week again! Changes this week - public voting is now dead. I just wasn't getting the votes in so it was sorta a waste. So instead there will now be 2 winners a week, 2 points for the winner and 1 point for the runner up. So, for this week the winner is Twisted14 - "Guy in middle: Look at it man. PNs - Well, next time I update I will have officially started work! Exciting no? I am nervous, but I'm guessing that's normal. And then I'll have money to spend! The first big thing I plan on buying is a PS3, then I'll probably need a new TV because I don't want to get up and swap the cables every time I want to switch from playing PS3 to 360 and vice versa, as my current TV only has 1 componet and one composite input. It's frustrating enough swapping from Wii to 360, since I've gotta swap the audio cables around.

I said I was going to get Bioshock yeah? Didn't happen. I went to Big W and they had none, so I was sad. But I did get NFS Carbon on 360. I already have it on Wii, but it was worth a re-buy because the Wii version is really, really cut down, not just on graphics but gameplay too.

News on the otaku side - I started watching a new series on Friday, finished watching it on Saturday . It's called Rosario + Vampire, truly one of my favourites. That's where the spoilered image comes from, and it really is hilarious. Much funnier than... oh, probably anything I've ever seen. Some moments in there I was literally rolling on the floor laughing. And an old favourite returns! Zero no Tsukaima series 3 surfaced online this week, a good start to the series and it made me remember why I love it.

That is pretty much it for now. Oh yeah, and you know how I said that I was planning an all-nighter? I failed . Fell asleep around 2am, then woke up around 4am with the TV and light still on. Man I suck at staying up late by myself (even though I'm usually awake until 2am), I need somebody else to keep me awake. Oh yeah, and before I forget - I have received information that a certain user on here, who shall remain anonymous *cough*Agentdandb*cough* has some of you on his contact list on MSN and has been pretending to be me. It isn't me. If you want to talk to the real me then send me a PM and I'll tell you my address, who knows, perhaps he'll try it again and we can catch him out? Sounds pretty fun actually.

Still more - I've updated my profile About Me section and profile header - custom made by me from Rosario + Vampire. I must say that I really like this one, it turned out exactly how I wanted and looks great. And hot .

Yep, I'm updating properly, though my net is still capped it's being good today, I can actually load the forums! I don't know why I couldn't yesterday, even after about 50 refreshes I still only got the top 5 topics. PNs - Nothing much happening, actually. I'm pulling an all-nighter tonight, for no reason other than to piss my Mum off. Every morning she wakes me up, even if I have nothing to do all day she wakes me up anyway. So tonight I'm just not going to sleep at all, let's see her wake me up when I'm already awake, mwuhahahaha . Ahem yes, apart from that nothing is going on. I hope to finish Lego Indiana Jones soon, probably tonight because I'm almost done, and I might get Lost Odyssey done again tonight too. Besides that - hopefully I'll be buying Bioshock on Saturday, when it came out I didn't think much of it (like literally nothing, I didn't care), but now, I mean, it's only $40 and I'm sure it's great.

OK, took that from Bully: Scholarship Edition. I couldn't think of a game to use again so I grabbed that. A good one I think, and I hope you guys can do something with it.

PNs - Finally got a job! It's the one I told you about last week, salesperson at Vodafone. Yay free phones! or not, but eh. It's only part-time at the moment, they said that after a while if a full-time position becomes avaliable then I can move up to that, but while I'm new they'll keep me on as PT. Which is fine, as long as I'm getting paid. I start on the 14th of July, in about 3 weeks. Other than that, nothing much. Picked up Rainbow Six Vegas 2, even though I never finished the first one (I will one of these days) and surprisingly I finished that. I wouldn't say it's easier (Though I was playing on casual, which the original didn't have) But I think it's because I went through most of it co-op with my brother. Though the final mission I finished myself. We also went through all the terrorist hunt locations, fun stuff that. Our tactics (playing on normal this time, not casual) were to each grab a shield and a Desert Eagle (My brother had a Raging Bull - it's a very powerful revolver) and just inch around with the shields, letting the terrorists come to us. Some may say that is cheating, which it sort of is, but we still died many times.

The 4th one was hard, Uncledean would have won that one but he changed his answer, so the first one wasn't valid. A pity because that one was really funny. And readers choice winner this week was Foolz3h. Now, for this weeks caption I'm going to do something a little different. As some of you may know I read 2 webcomics religiously, and a few I just check out from time to time. So... I thought it would be cool to do something like this:

Basically it's the same as usual, except you just put in what they characters are saying. It could be hard. Or, if you've read the comic before, it could be easy. This is from Questionable Content, which, despite the name, doesn't really have any questionable content in it. I sure hope it's OK for me to use that edited image, it should be considering I'm not making money of it. And I kept the copyright on there. Oh, and don't worry about the public vote this week, it'll be pretty hard so I decided not to do it this week. It will continue next week though.

Personal crap time: I finished Bully 100% and got all the acheivements, that's my first perfect game, as in 1000/1000 gamerscore from the one game. Then I finished up Lost Odyssey - talk about epic. Though all that extra leveling made the final boss really easy, I beat him in 3 turns . And I also finished Sonic (original) on the XBLA. Fun, but I don't see how kids finished it back in the day, it was tough for me to do, and I was saving every 30 seconds. Umm... what else? Oh yeah, I've got a job interview tomorrow, salesperson at Vodafone. I hope I get it, because while it might not be my ideal career choice, I wouldn't mind selling phones. I do know a bit about them, so I wouldn't be hopeless.
