  Apologies..

  For not posting a blog in about 100000 years.

  I will be posting on Gamespot more frequently in the future now i hope, since i've sorted out my crazy work sitch.!

  Just wanted to quickly let everyone know i AM still alive,

  and also thank everyone who's added me as a friend recently!

  A couple of things...

  I love Spyro the Dragon.

  No really, he's a total dude.

  

  Okay, so let's pretend he stopped at "Year of the Dragon".

  For me, he is (or at least WAS) the face of Sony. Ironic really, since as Spyro went downhill so has my opinion of Sony. Not because of Spyro's extreme quality collapse, it's just ironic that's all.

  The first three games, "Spyro the Dragon" "Spyro : Gateway to glimmer / Ripto's rage" and "Spyro:Year of the Dragon" were some of the best platformers on the original playstation. The games handled like a dream, had simple yet engaging stories and were just plain fun to play.

  Unfortunately, Spyro's transition to the PS2 / Gamecube was less than kind.

  The fourth entry in the series was little more than an insult to my tiny dragon friend. (This didn't stop me ebaying it earlier today for £1.70, but that's not the point ) The game was glitchy, short, needlessly irritating in places & had a story that made little to no sense.

  I'm not going to mention "A Heroes Tail" or any of his new trilogy, partly because this was meant to be a blog as opposed to a rant but also because it upsets me that they felt the need to rewrite his entire history.

  TO SUM UP...

  *I love Spyro

  *His last 5 games have made me very sad

  So what's all this about then? I am getting there, sorry!

  Well, i just completed "Spyro the Dragon" - PS. It's not my first time so it didn't take long at all!

  

  Unfortunately, the only other Spyro game i own is "Spyro : A Heroes Tail" which i don't like

  So, Sad-face! But i feel obligated to play and complete it, if only to add to my backloggery! Before i finally shut up though, i want to give a special shout out to one of the only saving graces in "Spyro: AHT"...

  

  BLINK! A mole with a tragic aversion to fresh air. Shame really, as i'd rather play as him through the entire game.

  Hanging up my holy water... for now ;)

  Yep, "Buffy the vampire slayer" - Xbox, is done!

  Take that, hellish fiends of the abyss.

  You're dealing with the world's most fabulously dressed demon killer
  

  

  Anyway, the game is done. The review is up.

  And now...

  I feel a strange empty sensation in my tummy. What am i going to do now that i've hung up my holy water and high heels?

  I was thinking maybe the sequel (Although i only own the PS2 version, LAG )

  But a big part of me want's to move onto an RPG.
