  It's that time again...

  Yes! E3 is back!! And i'm back too.

  Can't wait to see the cool games. Espcially Gears of War 2! Game of the show, I called it.

  Also, I can't wait for the release of Soul Calibur 4 at the end of this month!! Already pre-ordered it.

  Halo mania

  First off... well, I know... I don't blog often... but i'm online often.

  I should write again... but sometimes i'm busy. Back in school... play xbox 360 all the time... etc...

  Got caught up in the Halo 3 mania. I had Halo 2 and liked it. Halo 3 is tons of fun. Sure, it's a lot like Halo 2 but it's totally better.

  Well, i'm already going back... at least I stopped by to say hello.

  Damn it's been a while...

  Yeah... I know. But I was here when E3 was around. It was cool. They showed a lot of good games. But you all know everything about E3 now so we'll skip that part...

  So i'm still playing a lot of Xbox 360 games and DS games lately. Burnout Revenge for the 360 and Pokemon Pearl for DS. Dammit... i'm addicted. This is the first ever pokemon game i've ever bought. I've played many pokemon games in the past (blue, red, Ruby, Coliseum, XD...) so i'm really not a newbie. I admit that I liked the genre of the game. But i'm not a pokemon addict... oh no... lol!

  And watch my user video space... time to dust it off. I was using it when it was first introduced but now I got some old videos (that I got from another PC that I had). So maybe i'll show you some rare gems.

  So much new stuff

  Where do I start?

  Well... I don't know if I told you but I have 2 new Xbox Live Arcade games: TMNT original and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night! Those games are AWESOME. Finished both but for SOTN, I need to finish the game with Richter. That's gonna be hardcore.

  I also got a new 360 game: Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Since I got it last week... I can't stop playing it! It's so cool!! It was really fun to unlock the secret characters and the alternate outfits for every heroes.

  Now I just can't wait for the new downloadable content for MUA. But it's LATE!!! ARGH!! Apparently, when people installed the patch for the new content screwed up their game files! Ouch! Now Activision is working on it and on the content... it's been more than a week... can you hurry Activision? I wanna play with HULK! And Venom! Damn... my MS points are just sitting there... waiting...

  I played a lot of FFIII on DS also lately. It's a fantastic game. Play this game!

  As a 360 owner, one question comes to mind... Should I buy the Elite version? I don't think so. First I don't have the money. Second, i'm happy with what I have right here.

  Oh and one more thing... is there gonna be an E3 this year? It seems that it won't happen... I can't believe it. I subscibed last year on this site because I really wanted to see the Gamespot E3 footage. Now I don't know if i'll renew...

  This week's rent: Mortal Kombat: Armageddon

  The final chapter in the Mortal Kombat franchise has come. And for the finale, everyone was invited to the party... EVERYBODY. Every fighter who appeared in Mortal Kombat is in this game. Amazing. The engine is pretty much the same as the previous MK: Deception. Combos, few moves and the fighting styles... also the weapons. I wish there was more moves. There's a new fatality system and it's custom based. Means you do several moves and you do several bloody damage to your victim. Kinda cool but you just with you could just do ONE fatality and that's it. At least one really cool instead of a string of, for example, kicking your opponent, ripping his heart out, slam him down and smash his head... it's nice but not so cool. Anyway...
  I like the other modes. Motor Kombat is funny. Not that great but better than I expected.
  Konquest mode is back and finally better than ever. I always thought this mode was never good and this time they got it right.
  
  It's not much of a change since Deception but Deception was already a good MK and I think Armageddon is a little bit better. I hope the next one will be the true change in the MK franchise. Can't wait to see what Midway will do with the MK series. Get ready for a new story.
  For now on, enjoy the finale.

  Weekly rent: DOAX2, Call of Duty 3

  Dead or Alive Xtreme 2:
  If you love the girls in DOA and like to see them in sexy suits, you're gonna love this game. Cause this game is basically for pervs. Yes... I admit that I am...
  But looking at their attributes isn't the only fun thing. Playing beach volleyball, jetski racing and some other minigames like beach flags are fun too. But the most addicting thing is this game is probably the achievements: getting all the swimsuits.
  For everyone.
  And THEN buy them again to give it to everyone.
  It's incredibly long, but it's kinda worth it. It varies the looks of the girls.
  So this game isn't as bad as they say. Sure, it's simple and kinda repetitive, but if you like the DOA girls or DOA in general, you should just try it once.
  
  I rated it: 8.0
  
  Call of Duty 3:
  Yes, another WWII game. But at least Call of Duty is actually fun, compared to all the WWII games in the world. This one was a little easy even on the normal setting. Still it was a fun experience. Good mission with varied weapons. Enemy AI is very intelligent. You snipe, they will hide and carefuly wait. You throw a greanade at them, they will hide for cover or they will send it back at ya! They are smart.
  The action is intense. The sound is always amazing. You really feel your seriously AT WAR. And that's cool.
  What I didn't liked is that most of the times, you know ennemies are shooting at you but you just don't seem to be able to really aim at them. So what do you do? Shoot blindly at a place and hope it will hit the target. Remember that aiming wasn't so easy like it is with modern weapons. Think manual aim... that's hard.
  Anyway the game was fun and it's worth trying for all FPS and action fans.

  Week's rent: Sonic (X360) and FIFA 07

  Sonic: It's bad like everybody says. Bad camera, full of glitches, controls aren't sharp, not all stages are fun and some mission are plain stupid. They thought people would love it with more speedy characters (Sonic and Shadow are speedy, not Silver). The best times are when you do super fast parts with Sonic. Shadow missions are dissapointing... Shadow is using vehicles?? WTF? It's as stupid as Shadow's game using a GUN.
  Very dissapointing Sonic game. And Sega thought it would be THE Sonic game what would bring back it's good old glory... LOL! What were they thinking?
  
  I rated this game: 5.7
  
  FIFA 07: Not much to say than it's got nice controls. Not much features to play with. Like NHL 07, there is no season mode. Only Manager mode (like Franchise mode). Did EA sports killed season modes in every sports title they made?? If yes, they are more stupid than I thought.
  What I don't like is that the game does NOT allow you to remove fatigue and you can't avoid a defeat by quitting the game... the game will force you to forfit (by a 3-0 loss) the match. Wow... They are harsh.
  Lots of Euro teams and all the world teams. It's very nice overall.
  
  I rated this game: 8.4
  
  Oh... and both game are TERRIBLE for Gamerpoints! If you want some, you'll have to do very hard things to get them. Especially FIFA 07... it's ridiculous!!! 60 game winning streak?? 10 goals in a game?? Undefeated for one season?? OMG! They lost their heads...
  At least with Sonic you get some when you finish the game with each character...
  
  Question for Xbox 360 owners or anyone else... Does anybody knows the release date for Symphony of the Night on XBL Arcade?? I thought it would be out this month... or next month?

  Madden Wii

  I tried Wii's version of Madden 07 during the SuperBowl party that I went... it's awesome!
  The controls are really GENIUS!
  From the snap, to selecting a player, to passing the ball... touchdown! and then kicking for extra point... it's a fun experience!
  You really should try it. It looks somewhat complicated first but once you get it, it's really cool!
  This game got me excited... now I can't wait to buy a Wii!!!
  
  Oh and I tried Excite Truck too a few days earlier... It was fun too.
  I want a Wii!!

  I thought the purpose of multiplayer was to play as TEAMS...

  The more I play multiplayer games these days... the more that I find: individualism. Always someone who's looking for:
  -The most kills
  -A certain achievement
  -A certain high score
  -Rankings
  -Something to brag about...
  
  And that kills teams. And it's really annoying. I was playing Gears of War... and I see many players screaming at their teamates: "DUDE! YOU ****ING STOLE MY KILL! YOU S*UCK!!"
  These guys needs to chill out!! Damn. Personnally, I don't care... If I down somebody and someone finishes the guy before me, that's fine. The guy is dead. Our team won. That's all that matters.
  I don't care if you have the highest score... just help the team win. And guys... please... if someone in your team doesn't do well, don't diss him. Try to cheer them up! Instead of telling them: "YOU SUCK! OMG!". It won't help the team.
  Individualism should be left out... in single player.
  
  So guys... stop screaming at each other and help each other. Remember when you are playing an online game with people in teams... you are working IN A TEAM.

  My Gears of War experience

  I finally have the game!! It's great!
  It's truly 2006's Best Game of The Year.
  Totally fun. Bloody, gory, brutal, crazy, fun. It's all that.
  And it has a very good multiplayer.
  I won't be high in the rankings... but i'm helping my team.
  The game is only 5 acts but it's 5 intense and lots of action acts.
  I downloaded the new maps today. Very cool. And I like how they fixed some things with the patch that I didn't liked before... like how easily guys could "tag" people with grenades. Now they really have to be close to tag them. But it's still annoying. But I CHAINSAW them! Hehe
  I got the game since last week and i'm playing all day. Tell me if you want to play with me. I'd love that.
  I gotta go back now... I think my friend is waiting for me so we continue the game on veteran on co-op... Co-op is cool.

  May 2007 be the best gaming year ever

  I want to wish you all a happy new year. I hope 2007 is gonna rock the gaming universe with Halo 3, stellar Wii games and impressive PS3 games and many more things! Especially on the Xbox 360, the ride I choosed for now.

  The best game I played this year...

  ...is Oblivion on my Xbox 360.
  It's so better than I expected. I spent so many hours... yet I have
  lots of others left to spend! There's almost no end to this! It's so
  good... a great story and great depth... so many things you can do and
  see. It's beautiful too!
  
  
  Game of the year for me.
  360 fans, I can hear you... no I haven't tried Gears of War yet... yes
  I will. I hope to play it before the end of the year.
  But I don't think it will change my mind on Game of the year...
  Oblivion takes it.
