  Fallout

  Ahoy people of the wastes. So, having just gone through the original Fallout game on the PC I can say I have played through one of the platforms best games, and indeed a great game by its own right. I can say this without a guilty concience and without having to shy away from Fallout discussions, whichI guess doesn't really happen very often now my friends and I all have moved away from each other. But you never know.

  So Yea I played it and really enjoyed my time in a post apocalyptic Earth solving problems and ending lives but some of it kinda nnoyed me and made me think "well that was a bit crap why did they do that????" but we can not have it all I guess.

  Now that I have played it to fill the gap Fallout 3's push back I have resorted to playing EvE online alot more and learning more Swedish (helps to know the language in the country you live don't you know ) so yea, on with EvE!

  Xcom: UFO Defense COMPLETED!

  Well I have finished XCOM for the second time in my life and I am really glad and feel awesome about such a thing as this. Completing games is a good thing to do, it makes the whole process complete, the circle comes whole and you can have closure on something that you have been working at.

  For me, this was a special game from the past (first released 1993) that I saw my father play and in turn me and my brother played on Saturdays when we went to visit him. As it is not a fast paced gameand it is turn based but still heaped with action and tension, it is a great gripping game and is not dated in anyway except for the graphics and they STILL hold up to todays standards.

  Anyway, I finished it tonight and it has just gone 0130 but I just had to finish it despite how tired I am. 73.4hours of gameplay went into my campaign and I loved every minute of it

  Xcom update

  57 hours into my XCOM game. I have 7 bases, 22mil in the bank, 300 heavy plasma clips SPARE, over 3k alloy, over 2k Elirium, 2 Full teams, 180 engineers, 90 scientists, 90 UFOs spotted with over 60 missions, longest surviving trooper is a Colonel with 40 missions under her belt, and 50 kills....This is a very involving game.

  Ok so I don't expect many people to understand all of that without ever having played this game BUT, I am doing very well in a game that is quite dificult...and heavily micro-management based.
