1. Enslaved - Viking Metal. My family heritage + the music I love: Like chocolate and peanut butter to my ears. To Valhalla!
2. Ill Cold Starts - Law & Order: SVU and House have it down pat. That's probably why I tune in every week. Well, that and Mariska Hargitay.
3. Frisky Dingo - By far, the best show on Adult Swim. Like Twin Peaks, it helps if you start watching from the very beginning. If you do that, I highly suggest you watch the entire first season, start to finish, without any interruption whatsoever. Someday, I hope to be as cool as Xander Crews.

10,000 Strong - Iced Earth - just a taste of the glory of NWOBHM is good enough for me.
The Art of Partying - Municipal Waste - because crossover thrash is undeniably fun.
Carcass - Swansong - Say what you will about this record, but Bill Steer's snarling vocals are some of the best ever recorded.
Slayer - Reign in Blood - It's been over 20 years, and few albums can claim to even come close to the perfection of this record.Hayaino Daisuki - This band just finished recording, and what they unleash upon the world is going to absolutely DESTROY. Astute readers will translate their name from Japanese and see why. Besides, their singer is one of the hottest chicks I've ever met.
In short, Heavy Metal is cool. I should know. I'm a tastemaker.

Since I'm over at TV.com now, that means no more TGS.
No more TGS means no more hotel room trash pile.
I'm a little sad.
I'll just have to make myself feel better by listening to a bunch of thrash songs that have "GO!" before the mosh part. that usually does the trick.
