A Limited Return
I will not be returning to this website in full form, as I have done too much in the past and have too many bad memories. However, I will be contributing some old reviews that I wrote after I left this website, and I might write up some new reviews as well. I doubt that I will ever have 650 reviews, like I once did, but I believe that these new reviews are much better. Unfortunately, I can't contribute those reviews through this account, due to various circumstances that I don't wish to explain.
Schwarzwald is my new profile. Any reviews that I contribute will be contributed through that profile, though as I said, this is a limited return. I am not sure how many reviews I will post; I have roughly 170 written, since that's how many I wrote for TVRage, though their site's policy permits me to contribute the same reviews elsewhere.
Regardless, I hope that this can finally put the past behind me, and keep it there. The_Huntsman no longer exists, at least not on this website. Ghosts should stay in the past.
This profile is now abandoned.

An Overdue Apology
I’ve been away from this website for quite some time, aside from the occasional post, though I just wanted to apologize for the arrogance I displayed back when I still served the site over a year ago. Through my over-zealous and fanatical enthusiasm, I believe I did do some good things, though I ultimately went too far and my desire to make a difference had blinded me. Six hundred and fifty reviews went down the drain and I alienated many of my friends, including some of the staff.
I may have hurt the community, but at least I never gamed the system. I suppose there’s no point trying to apologize for my behavior now, since so much time has passed, though I hope that people will forgive me.

An Icon Submission Update
I apologize that I haven’t been making that many Blog updates recently, though I haven’t been feeling that good recently and my time has been consumed elsewhere. Regardless, I just wanted to let people know that Icon Submission is still on hold, though an Icon Set was recently permitted to be sent in; I have selected the Stargate SG-1 & Stargate Atlantis Icon Set, though I don’t have the ability to post the Icon Set in this Blog, like I did last time. Recently, the Brandy & Mr. Whiskers and Avatar: The Last Airbender Icon Sets, which had previously been plagued with problems that prevented them from loading, have become visible and are loading just fine; I can only hope that these Stargate Icons will be placed on the site without problems, as if such occurs, Icon Submission just might be able to resume in full.
On a side note, I’m still continuing my Editorships, though I’ve decided not to concern myself with levels anymore. I’ve obtained Airwolf status; I am content where I stand and levels are no longer going to be of my main concern, so I’m hoping to return to reviews in due time. I haven’t gained that many guides recently, though I did become Editor for Stephen Blake, who just happens to be TV.com’s very own Freaksngeeks, though I merely acquired that guide for the novelty factor, as it's amusing to edit such a guide, just like the Santa Claus guide on TV.com.
Anyway, I don’t have much else to say in this Blog entry; I haven’t received any more new Icon Sets since Icon Submission was placed on hold, so feel free to continue sending in Icon Sets so I can have a wide array of selections to choose from, should Icon Submission ever return in full. The staff have told me that the Stargate Icons are planned to be added to the site tomorrow, so we’ll just have to wait and see if those Icons load properly or not.

The Road to Level Fifty
A lot of time has passed since I first registered onto the site and while I’ve made several Blog entries in the past on the subject, I’m still surprised to see how far I’ve come over these past few months. While I know that reaching level fifty wasn’t really that big of an accomplishment, I personally believe that obtaining this level is something that I can cherish as it’s a reflection of all the things I’ve done on the site so far and I’m proud to have been a part of the TV.com community. Back on TV Tome, I never really did that much and while I did contribute some reviews to that site, I never bothered contributing and most people from those days wouldn’t have thought that much about me. However, TV.com had helped me become better than I ever was over at TV Tome and while I still consider myself an inexperienced novice in Editorial affairs, I’m just glad to do what I can to help out for the good of the cause.
Obtaining this level is a humbling experience though; I’ve surpassed some of my closest friends and mentors along the way, Editors of TV Tome who haven’t really been behaving the same since the transition to this site, though their advice to me has been quite beneficial and I’m thankful for all that they’ve done to help me become a better Editor since I gained my first guide back in August of last year. Back then, things were so much different and even my reviews were very short and full of flaws; I’m sure those relics of the past still sit on several pages on this site and I’m certain some people will find those eventually, though I take pride in my lack of experience back then and I’m proud that I’ve managed to surpass so many of my flaws to help out this site.
Though as I’ve said, I had plenty of help along the way and I know that I couldn’t have accomplished this all on my own. GeorgeFergus was really the one responsible for setting me on this path and while I still don’t know the guy that well, he was practically the sole reason for me making my first batch of contributions to the site and he also helped me in other ways. GeorgeFergus also helped me out by inadvertently letting me know the title of my favorite series, Brandy & Mr. Whiskers, in which I had seen once back then but I had not known the title. I honestly doubt I’d have ever found my favorite series and I honestly doubt that I would have been as involved in this site as I currently am without GeorgeFergus’ help, so he has my sincere thanks.
There were many others who have helped me out and I give all of them my sincere thanks. Through all of the help that I’ve received since I started taking the site seriously back in August, I’ve managed to aspire to level fifty and that really means a lot to me as I know that I owe my sincere gratitude to so many individuals. I will continue to do my best and I will ensure that I put what I have learned to good use and I will continue to do my part for the good of the cause. I do not know whether or not I’ll ever receive a greater honor than knowing that so many people helped me out over my time on the site, though I will continue to do everything I can to return the favor and I will do my best to pass on any knowledge I have to new users who come to this site.
We’re all in this together, whether we’re level one or level fifty; whether we’re regular users, moderators or staff members. We’re all doing what we can to make this site a better place and I’ll be sure to continue to contribute things for the good of the cause, though I’ll never forget the individuals who have helped get me here and even though I didn’t name many names in this Blog entry, everybody who has helped my has my sincere thanks and my utmost respect. I look forward to seeing what we can do with TV.com in the future; I know that we can bring this site some great things if we never forget that we’re all working towards the same purpose; though I know that I’ll never forget.

Icon Submission on Hold
After getting the new Avatar: The Last Airbender Icons onto the site only to discover that they were plagued by the same problems as the Brandy & Mr. Whiskers Icons, I’ve decided along with the staff that Icon Submission should be placed on hold until the issue can be resolved. The staff will need to talk to their bosses to try to figure out what exactly is the problem, though it seems that the problem is likely in the tool that is used to place the Icons onto the servers and so forth. I apologize for this inconvenience and I will do everything I can to get Icon Submission going as quickly as possible, though these issues must be resolved first.
The First Selection
I know that many great Icon Sets were sent in to me this time and it’s a real shame that I can only send in one Icon Set, though I must follow the proper procedures and such is actually for the best in the long run. After reviewing the Icons very carefully, I feel that the Avatar: The Last Airbender Icons were of the best visual quality and considering the other factors involved, I just believe that these were the best choice to go with. I know that I was once Editor for that program and it is one of my favorite programs on television, but I assure you that such didn’t influence my decision at all. I just honestly believe that these Icons were the best choice to go with, so you can see them below and you can make your own decisions on my decision. Any feedback is appreciated, though I don’t believe I’ll be changing my mind as I’m going to send this Icon Set in to the staff tomorrow.

There were some other excellent Icon Sets and I commend all those who have contributed Icon Sets to me for their hard work. However, since only one Icon Set can be sent in every two weeks, please don’t be discouraged if I don’t select yours, as six weeks is relatively fast in Icon Submission, so just because I didn’t select yours this time doesn’t mean I won’t select yours the next time. Regardless, I hope the users of the community will find my decision to be appropriate and it was a very difficult decision for me to have to select which Icon Set was the best, though with all things considered, I’m quite confident that these Icons were the ones that deserved to be sent to the staff this time around.
I wish Icon Set creators the best of luck in making new Icon Sets to contribute and I’m looking forward to seeing what Icons we can get added to the site as time progresses.
