Last week, I reviewed The Punisher: No Mercy which you can see is now posted to this site. If you aren't bothered to click, let me just say that it's a really shallow FPS with broken online. AVOID.
Funny thing is, on the other end of the spectrum, we have Battlefield 1943 which does everything right in the series. Click hereto see the review.
Thanks, and maybe I should do vidoe blog or something soon.

I was just realizing today that I haven't posted a blog on GameSpot, and to be honest it's not because I hate the site or anything, I just keep forgetting to post here. Anyway, I thought I would let those of you don't know that I now review games pretty regularly. To see the newest ones, you should keep an eye on this page, but after a week or two I'll probably post them here on GameSpot as well. For those wondering, I write my reviews for EndSights.com.Here's a list of the reviews I've done since we last spoke, GameSpot.
- Punch-Out!! (Wii)
- Bubble Bobble Plus! (WiiWare)
- Wallace & Gromit Episode 1 (XBLA)
- Boggle (XBLA)
- Sam & Max: Season 1 (XBLA)
- Wolfenstein 3D (XBLA)- BONUS! Video Review
- The Punisher: No Mercy (PSN)
And tomorrow, I will have a review of Tales of Monkey Island Episode 1 posted and I should also be reviewing Battlefield 1943 this week as well.
Stay Cool!

A few days ago I got myself a new laptop. It's a Dell Studio 1737. This is not only my first laptop, but my first Dell computer. I've heard some good and bad things about them, but I'll just have to see for myself. You never know. So far, I'm loving it.
Check out my YouTube if you want to see a video of me talking about it. Username is the same as here. I recommend you subscribe to me there if you want to hear the latest updates from me.
Thanks guys,

I am having surgery tomorrow to repair a deviated septum (nose). I am both looking forward to it, and not. I am looking forward to it because I have near constant nosebleeds, and I want those to end. I am not looking forward to it for obvious reasons (nervousness.)
Please, all I ask for are good wishes. Thank you.

I am loving the Road to Wrestlemania feature in the game. You get to make some interesting decisions (Dx or Evolution?) and it all flows together well. I keep unlocking stuff so that's cool too. Just finished John Cena's story and it was my least favorite so far. Probably because I don't like John Cena, but whatever.
Very good game though, and will keep me entertained for many times to come.
Gears of War 2 is also very neat. The band is back together, and I really couldn't be happier. I don't mind ANY of the new maps really, they're all really good. I can't say the same about the first Gears, so this one is easily better. Just stay the hell away from me (and my flamethrower) and you'll be okay.
Oh, a friend gifted me Banjo Kazooie for XBLA and it's good too. It's high-res Banjo so it's all good. This game is really easy though. Should get back to it later.
Oh, and I like Far Cry 2. Sue me.

As you can tell from my gamercard, I picked up Silent Hill Homecoming. It's a great game. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the feel of it. Did I mention 5.1 audio? Yeah, it hasthat. It's scary as hell to hear where enemies are coming from. I guess I can say I loved it. Get this is if you love Silent Hill and/or survival horror games. This is the evolution of the genre.
I know reviews haven't been too favorable towards it, but this has to be one of my favorite games this year. Guess it goes to show you just how much I can't trust them anymore.
LittleBigPlanet Beta. I got into that. This game is amazingly well done. I expected to like it, but not THIS much. I haven't really made any levels due to that I don't know if they will carry over to the full version and my save data already got corrupted once. Oh boy. Fantastic stuff has already been made by others though. Check it out if you have the means.
I take leave until we meet again.- Posted Oct 5, 2008 7:45 pm PT

11Sep 08No, I am not launching a new site of my own. I have enough trouble updating sites I already run (ahem).Anyway, I was thinking the other day while enjoying an episode of N+ DS about portable game reviews. I have visited many review sites and can't find a single one that can answer a simple question consistently, and the question is this: How long can I play your game at any given time without losing progress?
It's a fairly simple question that any review should be able to answer, but sadly, don't. It's a huge factor to me when buying a portable game. There's a huge difference between a save point that's 20 minutes away and a simple save option in the pause menu. I'm not going to play a game that requires me to hunt for a save point everytime I play. I usually only play for about 10 minutes each time, sometimes longer, but the point is that I should be able to play for any length without losing progress.
So, if anyone knows any sites that consistently point out the portability of a game, let me know. It's something that irritates me greatly.- Posted Sep 11, 2008 9:21 pm PT

One or the other, I'm not doing both. While it's as easy as copy and paste to do both, I don't like the idea. Ugh.
Things I like that GameSpot does:
- User Video system
- Light color scheme option
Things I like that Giant Bomb does:
- More organized layout
- Lists
- Wall
- Embedding other video sites
- Wiki system w/ everything imaginable, characters, locations, objects etc.
- User controlled content
- Overall ease of use
I love ya GameSpotters, I really do. Don't get me wrong, but I think the choice is clear. Don't consider this a goodbye as I'll still be around, but don't expect much from this profile here anymore.
See you around.
