    Gaming update

Hmm I haven't been on GameSpot in a while. I guess a lot has happened..I've gotten some new games. I got Devil May Cry 4, Eternal Sonata, and Soul Calibur 4 for Xbox 360. DMC4 is pretty good. The combat is fun, and the system to upgrade and buy new skills is cool. Nero's (main character) lines are sometimes corny, but he still looks cool. Eternal Sonata is really fun. You have a party of 5+ people and you can go into battles with 3 (you can change who battles and who stays out). The combat is great. It's turn-based, and you can heal party members, attack enemies, and use special attacks that do a lot of damage. It's a colorful RPG and the story is good and easy to follow. I just got Soul Calibur 4 yesterday, but it's pretty good so far. I didn't expect the story to be as short as it was. I love the character customation in the game. You can change and buy equips and weapons, change your hairstyle, eye color, eye brow color, skin color, and the colors of equips. You can also change the voice too. There are many characters to play and unlock. That's all I know for now. In MapleStory, I've been doing pretty well. I'm a level 85 Hermit now (Windia) and going to try to be lvl 90 by the end of summer.

    New games and [RPGs

Lol hi. Today there was a sale at a game store called Game Crazy so I bought Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements and Two Worlds. Elements is pretty fun so far, haven't started Two Worlds yet. Since Dark Messiah uses the Source Engine (by Valve, makers of Half-Life and Counter Strike) the physics are really good. The graphics are decent too, but they don't matter as much as other elements of the game. I'm a mage in it, and they have some pretty fun skills. One of the is called Flame Arrow, where you have the power to shoot flames from your fingertip. Another is Freeze, where your characters simply freezes an enemy solid. Soo this game will bring countless hours of fun . Also, about a week ago, I bought Half-Life 2 and Counter Strike: Source on Steam. I had Half-Life 2 on original Xbox and currently own The Orange Box, so I only bought it for the benefits of it in Garry's Mod. Counter-Strike:Source is basically an online multiplayer only FPS with gametypes, maps, and teams where you fight other people. It's really fun, and I also got benefits from it for Garry's Mod. Yesterday I beat Assassin's Creed after hours of playing. I've got to say that is an extremely fun game. I like saving citizens and murdering those annoying drunks and psychotics that roam around. The ending is kind of confusing but original. On Guild Wars, I'm around lvl 12. I've kind of slowed down on that since I moved my Xbox 360 back up to my room. I still play it sometimes, just not as much. And MapleStory..still playing, not as much either but still frequently. I'll get back to you all later with more info on Dark Messiah and Two Worlds, but for now, bye. Thanks for reading xP

Bought a new game, replaying old ones

Recently I bought the game called Garry's Mod on Steam. Garry's Mod is..well..a mod. You need to have a game like Half-Life, Counter-Strike, or Team Fortress installed beforehand. Garry's Mod is a sandbox game, where you can walk around and do whatever you want. You can spawn various things like random scenery and objects, to people in the game and vehicles. There's a whole set of tools (like welding, wheel, axel) you can use to make things like cars, rockets, building - really anything. For example I made a car out of just a wide crate, and 4 saw blades as wheels. You can also join other peoples' games and play/mod together on one server. I also got a new computer for my birthday about a week ago. It's really good; it has a 500GB hard drive, 2GB of RAM, and a nVIDIA GeForce 7100. It is a huge upgrade from my last computer, which had a 70 GB hard drive, 756MB of RAM, and the crappiest graphics card ever. I'm happy now because I can fit a lot of things on it and play games I couldn't on my last computer, or play games I've had more smoothly. My dad bought Call of Duty 4 yesterday and it's pretty good. I played the campaign and, as I always have loved the series, had a lot of fun. The CoD series is so much better than the other FPSes out there like Perfect Dark Zero, Halo (campaign), and Medal of Honor (yeah Mike). I've played online before at friends'/cousins' houses and it's really fun. Since my computer can now run games so much better, I decided to play Guild Wars and see how it ran. I can have the graphics on the highest setting and there isn't any lag. I made a new character yesterday (Necromancer/Elementalist) and got it to around level 8. I just have the original one, Prophecies because it was hard to play on my old computer and never got far. For people who don't know what Guild Wars is, it's a MMORPG (Massively-Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game). In the version I have, there are 6 primary professions. They are Warrior, Ranger, Elementalist, Necromancer, Mesmer, and Monk. Each have different functions, skills, equips, weapons, and looks. During the beginning of the game you pick a secondary profession-a class other than the one you already have. You get some of their skills and attributes. You can make partys in the game and do quests and stuff. You can also be in a guild, which may or may not have a cape. Guilds can have unique capes that the leader makes. There are also Alliances. An Alliance is a group of guilds that are basically allies and friends. If I enjoy Prophecies, I will buy the expansions (1 at a time, after I beat) Factions, Nightfall, Eye of the North, and when it is released, Guild Wars 2. I think I am going to enjoy them, I really like the structure of the game. I'm also interested in Counter-Strike: Source. It looks like a good online-only FPS for the computer. I'm gonna see if there's a demo or something so I could try it out. I may eventually buy it, but who knows. I just looked back and I wrote a lot x]. Thanks for reading it if you did.
