  Video Game ? What's that ?

  its been a long time since i did "sit and play" enjoyment... but i'm not sad about it actually... well the reason is i'm busy and the things i'm busy with are meaning more things than games right now.

  i'm going to be married soon. surprised ? maybe, maybe not. but its the truth, not a joke. i'm really happy about it, its really great feeling, i hope you, people who didnt taste it yet, can taste these feelings too.

  i want to apologize from all of you for not being active and not writing comments on your blogs. to be honest, i'm sorry but i think i wont be able to write much anymore, or at least for a while... i always had fun reading your blogs and sharing my opinions with you, i thank you all. take care of yourself, enjoy your life, enjoy your games

  sound/music quality can hinder a game to be good, ALOT! +aliens are not welcomed

  So I started Mass Effect few days ago and disappointed so far. I'm afraid i start to believe KotOR was just lucky hit or the real talent came from Lucas Arts since its their trademark already... I played Jade Empire special edition, almost hated it and now i'm playing Mass Effect and i'm really close to dislike it.

  The game starts with character customization screen IF you choose to not be John Shepard but xXx ( your name enters here ) Shepard. Face customization is not detailed much compared to Oblivion but its not bad, I made a nice face even its abit typical. Then you choose your brief history (either you were succesful soldier or solo survivor from a failed mission ) and your class. The game starts... it looks cinematic but to be honest, it doesnt look impressive, at least i'm not impressed... then game starts... and its a shooter ? OMG... I chose Soldier-Engineer hybrid but i couldnt see anything different as skills yet... it disables your enemy's shield, 2 more and these are just like other shooter game skills... anyway lets continue to the game and here is our villain or as a prediction he is just bait villain ( maybe the real villain but it wouldnt surprise me to see a different, more powerful, more evil, etc villain because Saren appears just so early so it doesnt leave a big impression yet )and we continue for our mission. After a short time we see Saren plans to destroy the evidenceand leave the planet so we should defuse bombs while fighting his friends... but that is the exact point slapped my face so bad, i thought i was gonna die...the music in bomb defuse area is just terrible and its like from 80s... O M G! now this game is true science-fiction because it uses this crappy music from 80s, is this what these developers wanted ? I watched Terminator 1 ago just few days before playing ME and when I reached that bomb area in ME, what i first noticed was its terrible music... its almost the same bad music from Terminator 1... its like keyboard piano trash... argh i hated it and i started to doubt ME's quality in that second... that movie was in 1984, now we are living in 2008 ( 2007 to be exact, for game release date ) and you use that bad quality music for the sake of nostalgia ?or you still think there cant be done science fiction without that kind of crap ? argh...

  I know sound/music quality is important in games but i never had an experience like this before... i mea, it seems i didnt play any great game with bad sound/music ( considering their time of release ofcourse( though i must say many 90s amiga games had amazing sound quality ) )... I was in a shock when i realized i'm listening to that music in ME... its just terrible...

  anyway, after passing that place and breaking the item you suppose to get back to your captain, you continue your journey to report Saren to council. you meet the council but obviously no choice can change the result and the game shows that event like its the end of the world, now this was impressive... they made that scene good but after many disappointments i'm not ready to believe its a great game...

  so Mass Effect is really disappointment for me, especially the gameplay... its like another shooter game with rpg elements... i know bioware means more about story and dialogues but so far nothing looks impressive with story or dialogues... i already started to skip some dialogues and that didnt happen in KotOR even though i was not knowing what i'm playing at that time ( before kotor i was not even sw fan and i didnt know it was such a great game, just played because my friend told me to ). so Mass Effect turned out to be disappointment so far with everything...

  well yes Technically too... i think it needs really high system because i beat Crysis with on medium but still everything was great and detailed... ME doesnt look have alot of details but yet i cant run it on better graphics... i dont complain about graphics, its great, but technically it requires even more system than Crysis and thats insane for worse graphics ( worse compared to Crysis )... I was playing it on high but it forced me to play it on medium ( game crashed few times )and medium quality's shadows, blur is not good... compared to Crysis, its crap and yet i played Crysis on the same system with amazingly beautiful graphics ( even it was not ultra high )...

  i think i should get Crysis Warhead because Crysis was amazingly beautiful in everyway... especially that new gameplay elements for fps was genius and so much fun. even though i dont care about graphics much, Crysis can change anyone's mind with its environment and details...

  and plus note has spoiler about Uncharted so read it if you wont blame me;

  aliens are not welcomed in damn adventure games... I beat Uncharted recently and i was enjoying ALOT. its great game, really good AI makes the game so much fun ( i like how one of them tries to get your attention and others tries to sneak ), has amazing environments second to Crysis and nice character. but when i started chapter 16 i was like WTH!! WHY WHY WHYYY?!?! so yea from chapter 16 to 20 i didnt have fun thanks to these alien kinda freaks... i didnt enjoy one bit... they were dumb too... running to you directly or attacking you once then running away ( well if they would hit you twice you would die anyway )...and they were ugly... I wish they wouldnt include those things so my enjoyment wouldnt be divided... still its "must have" game for any PS3 owner, amazingly good...

  wohoo ranting ranting ranting... but Crysis and Uncharted were great games especially compared to all new games made me feel disappointed in this gen... Mass Effect is just another disappointment but i'm open to any ideas about how should i play it... i think i'll start as Vanguard since i'm not far from the beginning... but the game is BORING... damn...

  Bravo for your ridiculous staff and their management...

  I dont care this notification/suspension stuff since i was suspended for the first time but today i noticed i have a message and when i checked it, it was about "Subject: Terms of Use Violation - Point Loss!". I dont care about point loss or anything but what i'm pissed off is ;

  so yea its offending for anyone who does his job BUT not for gamespot staff in my opinion because here is a simple proof;

  

  while that game is released on almost all platforms they only reviewed 360 version... i dont need to argue about their bias among platforms its just undeniable fact anyway, but this simple example helps my message to be NOT trolling. also they left many ps2 games without reviews even they put those games on mainpage ( ps2 mainpage ) themselves... i dont care about their late reviews, because obviously they lost all credibility among game developers/publishers so they cant get the games before release like all other sites... i liked gamespot before, i thought their reviews scores were close to my tastes/thoughts but obviously its not the same anymore and new gamespot is big failure compared to previous one...

  i think i may be banned if any mod sees this blog but i dont know, i dont care.
