Gotta keep remaking the old huh?
I read that the cult cla$$ic The Rocky Horror Picture Show is going to be remade by MTV Films. With some new songs. I rolled my eyes when I saw that. No one can come up with brand new ideas I guess. I wonder when someone will decide that Casablanca needs to be redone.
I do wonder one thing, who will take over Tim Curry's role as Dr. Frank N Furter? I also wonder will they do what thye did in the original and get newcomers, or try to make it with an all-star cast?
Also, they are making a sequel to Hairspray. I question all this, but know it is just to cash in. I wonder what the hardcore fans of RHPS will think of it being remade.

And ya know, not much is happening. But I wanna work on redecorating my room after my birthday. Yeah, I still feel sad that I won't be a teenager anymore. I dunno why. Just do.
Know what is a big disappointment? The Pu$$ycat Dolls' new song When I Grow Up. I liked the stuff from their debut album, but that song sucks. And Nicole sounds pretty bad on it. If the rest of the album sounds like that, crappy pop, I pry won't invest in it. I am debating whether I'll get Gym Cla$$ Heroes' new one. I don't like the songs they've put out. They don't sound like their old stuff. Sound too much like other music out today. I found out last week that The Academy Is... has a new album next month so I'll be getting that.
Finally, I read Miley Cyrus might go nude in a film. And she is trying to get a more mature audience and ditch the Hannah Montana sound. Personally, I think anything Miley does would be crappy, but that's lil ole me. So I what I got from this is that Miley either wants to be a pop tart like Britney Spears and turn her young fans into wannabe tramps, or she is saying "Screw you!" to those little girls that made her famous. As for the nudity, Billie Ray Cyrus and his wife, if they are proud of their selves as parents, they both kinda need a slap in the face.

Yeah. Got a couple on my legs. I was playing with one of the cats next door last night. So my legs are pretty itchy.
Know what's a good thing to explain? Cat toys. I brought something with feathers on the end of it and a piece of string attached to a stick that kinda resembles some type of whip. When someone saw them and wondered what they were, I explained what they were and what I was doing, and they said, "Oh, we were wondering!"
Finally, know what annoys me? When someone recognizes me but I don't recognize them. I had sunglasses on too, so they must be from school. I always feel kinda bad when I say, "Oh hey! How are you?" and I'm not even sure who I'm asking or being friendly with. That happened in high school a lot. Apparently people I knew from Maryland Ave (my K through 8 school) remember who I was, and I'm thinking, "Why aren't you memorable enough for me to notice who ya are?"

Had an appointment at my orthodontist's today. Been almost a year that I've had my braces off. Anyways, the bus had to take a detour and we were in the middle of the burbs. I had no idea where we were, so I figured I'd pull it at one point. I got off the bus, walked to the corner, looked down the street, and realized I was in fact on the main street. I got off at the right spot. The way back I was in the right spot, but didn't realize it. Luckily I caught the bus.
And buy is it HOTT outside. Woof.
Okay then, seven years ago, tonight that is, today was the day Salem walked in our door. He was young and hungry, having been in a house where they didn't take care of him. We couldn't keep him right away, but we got him away from that horrid home. Now he is doing greatly. Though he does hafta deal with Tricky from time to time. Anyways, I took this picture of Salem this past weekend.

Tomorrow I am off to Festa Italiana. Then maybe this weekend, or next, I'll see The Dark Knight. Not into Batman, but the role of the Joker really got to Heath Ledger, which ultimately contributed to his early death, so I am curious to see his performance.

It was supposed to bew warm, not hot, but warm enough. No rain until Saturday. Today it got really dark, then rained for like 20 minutes. Now it is getting light again. Kinda bummy cause I have plans for Friday and rain would kill em. Hopefully it doesn't rain again until Saturday.
Though it made me think of a motto. Milwaukee, WI: Expect the unexpected.
Cause that defines the weather since the beginning of the year. It snowed till April. Than started raining.

All the celebrities that are having babies are pimping out their kids for cash. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who are already filthy rich bastards (harsh, maybe, but the way I talk), will get like $20 million to show pics of their kids. Angelina is supposed to be such a humanitarian, so what would be nice is when she does get this money to donate it. But will they? It really sickens me. I remember when celebrities wanted to keep their kids private and hidden. Now they'll post them on magazine covers and get paid a lot for it. Pathetic.
But, luckily, there is one person who is not doing this. And when I read it, I smiled. Nicole Kidman said she hasn't decided whether she'll release pictures of her daughter Sunday Rose at all, but if she does she doesn't want money for it because she and Keith don't think it is appropiate to make deals. Good for Nicole. I read stuff like this and think, "See. This is why she is my role model." Though, since she is my fav, her daughter is the only celeb kid I am interested in seeing.
And finally, my mom is upset cause I play games where ya shoot to kill. I like practicing my computer aim. Plus, I like the challenge and they can be fun. She is afraid they'll make me want to hurt people. "It's just a game!" doesn't always work.
