Apparently my last quiz was too hard for even my closest friends, so I made a new one! Take it if you're my friend, and if you're not, take it anyway!

This topic has been in my mind for a while, and I think it's time to reveal the fact that SEGA admires Square Enix and looks to their ideas for inspiration. Here are the factors that lead to this conclusion:
-------------------------Skies of Arcadia -VS- Final Fantasy VII-------------------------

Probably the most obvious one (first pointed out to me by TriforcePieces), is that Skies of Arcadia is very similar to Final Fantasy VII in many ways. The ones I can think of are:
The character and their counterparts are Vyse=Cloud (main character), Aika=Tifa/Yuffie (main chara's best friend), Fina=Aeris (last survivor of their kind, i.e. Silvite=Cetra), Drachma=Barret (both have robotic/mechanical arm), Gilder=Vincent/Cid (both use guns and wear red/both fly airships, i.e. Claudia=Highwind), Galcian=Rufus (both leaders of villain organizations), and Ramirez=Sephiroth (both final boss and long white hair).
The Gigas (SOA) are based off of the Weapons (FFVII).
The Moonstones (SOA) resemble the Materia (FFVII).
You must pilot airships in the Overworld in both.
S.Moves (SOA) are equal to that of Limit Breaks (FFVII).
The Valuan Empire (SOA) is similar to Shinra Inc. (FFVII).
Yafutoma (SOA) greatly resembles Wutai (FFVII).
--------------------Shadow the Hedgehog -VS- Vincent Valentine--------------------
![]()

Another reason that may not be as obvious as the last one. Here are the things that compare Shadow to Vincent:
Both have red and black color schemes.
Both loved someone who died (Maria/Lucrecia).
Both anti-heroes.
Both described as "emo" by the fans.
Both immortal.
Both infused with an extraordinary power (Chaos Force/Lifestream and Chaos).
Both have a spin-off game which GS gave a low score. =P
Both use guns (although Shadow only does in his own game).
Both left dormant for a long time (50 years/30 years).
Both have transformations (Super Shadow/Chaos and others).
---------------------------------MeteoTech City -VS- Midgar----------------------------------

The most recent instance appears in Sonic Riders Zero Gravity with the main location in the game, MeteoTech City, which bears a striking resemblance to Midgar of FFVII. MTC has one central tower and smaller structures around it that look like Mako Reactors. I can't find a picture of MTC, but it looks just like the Midgar picture I put, except more futuristic.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well I hope you enjoyed this little um... I don't know what to call it, but I hope you liked it. XD
