About Time
It seems about time i wrote a more recent blog entry, but i haven't had anything real exciting to post, but the most recent thing is that i bought luminous arc for DS, and i'm pleased. I like the FF tactics type gameplay, and this one does a pretty good job as a good TBS for DS. I havent beaten it yet, but it seems like a good length game, not the deepest story, but still good, the characters aren't bad, and the support system is cool. Unlike FF tactics, your chars only stick to one class, but they are different enough that it doesnt matter much. You learn new skills as you level, and you learn flash drives, which are like your special attacks, where you have a gauge that goes up to 3 and you can use which level flash drive you have if your gauge is full enough. Its not an overly hard game, but still fun. Theres still things that i cant say untill i get later in the game though(like the total number of chars. so far i have 9). There is wi-fi support to, which i havent tried yet cause i dont have a wi-fi zone in my house, but its probably fun to battle against other people. so ya...if you want afairly good TBS for your ds...get this game =Do and there are 2 different controll types, you can use the stylus, or the d-pad, I think the d-pad works better since targeting and such with the stylus can be annoying, but you can try both to see which one is better for you. so ya...ima have to play more and find out everything else. *update* I finished it, i'd say it took about a good 15 for me(and i never even did any of the 11 side quests). oh and theres 15 chars if i remember, but you can only pick a maximum of 9. Theres 25 chapters, and 11 side quests, plus when you beat the game theres an extras option, where you can replay chapters, look at the picture gallery, theres character profiles, and a sound test. So there is some replay value, since you can focus on leveling different characters, theres lots of options with the support, you can do the side quests if you never did them, (like i didn't) and try to find all the pictures for the gallery=) so ya....its a good game and you should get it if you have a ds =D although the ending wasn't the greatest.
