The other day my wife had lost her cool with me. She thought that It would be kinda fun to take away the t.v control from me and hide it. I came home on monday night to find that I couldnt find the control on my couch where I normally sit for 2 hours and catch the Monday Night Football games. I told her that she was acting silly, as I just walk over to the t.v and turn it on manually. The next day, I come home to find that she had taken the power cable off. Now the lack of the control is a smaller issue. Not knowing how I was going to get the t.v started at that point, I quickly start to brain storm for a solution to this very pathetic issue. I had remembered that her monitor works on the same power cord that my t.v uses. I played it off and told her "ok, you got me". I work from 2pm to 6pm while she works from 6am to 2pm. And what she doesnt know is that while she is gone, I just switch the power cables and continue to play from where I left off. She also tried doing this to the cable that powers my phone. The only problem with that is that she failed..... big time. Almost everything in the house seems to power up my phone and thats not to mention the fact that I have a car kit that allows me to charge it while I drive.
To close this off, I find it funny how people try to get back at you when they have no idea that they have failed. I know I'm talking about my wife here, but I still believe that even her can become a pretty pathetic person from time to time. One of my friends asked me how did I play this prank back at her. It was simple, I disscconected the battery in her car, and let me remind you, women dont know much about cars. She ended up taking the bus to work for almost a week. When I found out that her mechanic was coming over, I just plugged the battery back on. She ended up taking the bus for a week and ended up paying the mechanic to come over and check out her car.
The joke, like always, eneded up being on her.

22Oct 09Today thursday, and tomorrow friday, I'll be spending a good amount of time playing Borderlands on the PS3. This is due to me going back full-time and my job starting next week (as mentioned in the other blog). My internter is also back but it seems to be acting up. So remember, my psn ids are GangstaGrizzab and TeabagChampion.
On other news, I'll be moving on October 30th. Thats right, the day before Halloween. Im moving to a better place that includes better perks and its closer to work so that I wont have to commute as much. So I might not be online the first week of November.- Posted Oct 22, 2009 4:51 am PT

22Oct 09For the past 2 weeks now, I've been reduced to part time hours at my job. Yeah, I work for a non-profit company that has been the victim of goverment cut-backs and layoffs while they get rich with the bonus that they get. Luckly for me, I've just been reduced to part-time. And well, not for long. My boss and I talk on a daily basis and just yesterday he informed me that I'll be getting back into full-time starting next monday. Althought the news was great when you consider the pay, I must admit that I got used to being lazy and just playing video games from 10am to 1pm while eating Cheetoes and drinking Pepsi. Dont get me wrong, I still make time for my daughter and wife, and the lack of jobs out there has just kept me indoors. I also tried applying for jobs that I know I can just quit when things get better. Jobs at places like Best Buy, K Mart, Target... you get the point. But nothing. So yeah. Cheetoes and Pepsi for breakfast.

7Oct 09As I was heading home from work for my lunch break, I picked up my copy and dashed home to make myself a tuna melt sandwish. In the prosses, and with only 25 minutes left before reporting back to work, I popped in the copy and sat down to watch the intro as I devowered my meal. To be honest, I thought that the intro was short, strait to the point, and somewhat weak. I thought to myself "thats it?" After a long hard day of dealing with the usual, if not more, I came home to my wife and child with only thinking about my new titles and my thoughts on how to go about and play it. After waking up in the middle of the night and with nothing to do, I turned to the t.v and started up Demon's Soul. The game doesn't explain much and I felt as if I had no Idea toward what was going on in the game. In other words, the system is a bit tricky and somewhat hard to get a hold of. I must add that the game is hard aswell. After playing for almost 2 hours, I still couldn't figure out how to summon other players to help me out in my quest or how to go online and play co-op. However, I see all of this as a challange and I'm looking foward into playing it for a few more hours. I have to be honest and say that I'm really enjoying the gameplay along with the challange and it might even be one of the best RPG's that I've played so far.

3Oct 09One of my very very good friend called me up the other day and he wanted to hang out with a group of us to tell us about this news that he was keeping secert. I thought that he was about to become a dad or he cought A.I.D.S... You know, something that you hold off until everyone is in the mood for some shocking event. Well, shocking it was. You see, this friend of mine has been directing short films in the city of Miami for some time now, and he has done some other short films in other cities like Chicago, Green Bay, and St.Louis. He got a call from someone in L.A and therefore, he will be moving up there soon. I went out of my way to get him a few boxes and stuff.... you know, the things that you usually use when you move, and when I got to his house, he told me that he wanted to give me something. When he showed me a box full of old systems and games, he told me that I could keep them all. I'm talking about systems like the Turbo Graphix 16, Sega Dream Cast, XBOX, Game Cube, N64, and Super Nintendo. With that, he gave me over 200 games for all of these systems. It turned out that I was the one that needed the boxes to move all of that stuff out of his house. The next day, he called me with some more news. He needed me to help him by giving him a rid to a place since his car was at the shop. On my way back to drop him off before going to work, he told me that he had a XBOX 360 (new) that he has never even played. He didnt even take it out of the box. Well, he let me have it aswell. So now I'm back on XBOX Live. Although I dont think I'll be playing it all that often since I have a few games that I have coming soon on my PS3, I'm happy to let all of you know that I'll be back on live soon.

The other day I hit level 10 on my PSN and I started to look back at those games that I never bothered to play again. It turns out that I'm only missing a few trophies on a few games that are keeping me from getting Platinum trophies. Although I dont want to go back and get them, I dont have anything better to do this weekend. My wife and child are going away for the weekend and leaves me with nothing more than a fridge with food, 20 bucks in my pocket, and a few good games to go back and play on this weekend. Wait, I forgot, its football season. Well, thats something els that I have to do.... watch a few games. Go SAINTS!!!!
Broken Steel came out this week for the psn. I've been wanting to get it, but doing an update on my PS3 will cause me to steer farther from getting one of the platinum trophies that I'm trying hard in getting. The trophie that I'm missing is called "Silver Toungh Devil". I have to complete 50 speech challenge and so far I have 42. At the end of the game you get 2 more meaning that I have to come up with 6 to 8 speech challenges and than I get the trophies that I'm missing for that game. The cool think about Broken Steel is that it allows you to make it to level 30 and it has new weapons and perks.
And on the 26 of this month, it will be my anervesary on GameSpot.com. I wish that they will give me PSN credit. There are a few great DLC that I've been wanting to get, but with a hard drive full on my PS3, I think I'm going to need the money to get myself a bigger hard drive.

I know that a while ago, I blogged, letting all of my friends here at gamespot.com know the titles that I will be picking up for the rest of the year. Well, with more titles being confirmed, I made my final picks for the month of October. I must admit, gaming is the only hobby that I have left and its becoming an expesive one. Here are my 3 picks.
1. Uncharted 2
2. Borderland
3. Demon's Soul
The only RPG title that I have to say that I've been playing alot of is Fallout 3, and with only one trophie missing, I'm ready to move on. I compleated DiRT 2 in 5 days, but have not found the time to challenge people online and honestly, nor am I intrested in doing so. And WET was completed in 2 to 3 days. I'm missing alot of trophies for WET, but I wont have a problem getting them. WET is a short game that offers a great deal of replay. Replay value is always a good thing for short, fast paced games (like the NES title Contra). And if you guys haven't noticed 2 of the 3 games that I picked out are RPG. Hopefully I can get or/and find the time to play these titles.

On September the 15th (my birthday) I picked up a few titles. These titles were WET and DiRT 2. OK, I normally dont like to write reviews on games because I feel that they normally get over looked so I rather blog about it.
Dirt 2 is a great title. I think that it should get a 9.5. Dirt 2 offers a friendly setting for people that have never ever picked up a controller and played a racing game in theire sad lives. The game is also strait to the point. Pick a place, pick a car, and start to race. The settings arent of those like in Grand Turrismo, but than again its based on rally racing so you really dont need to fine tune anything. However, if you want, you can select the different types of setting that you would like to add to your already tuned ride.
WET on the other hand was alright. I would give the game a 8.5 tops. I feel that the game did great in getting the movie theme going on along side with the voice acting and the music. The game looks and feels somewhat like a Quinten Terrentino film. The only two problems that I felt with WET was that the bullets really dont do much damage. I found myself shooting this one guy in the head like 12 times and I didnt even get a head shot. I wish I would had recorded it so that you guys can see what I'm talking about. The other one was that for the first 20 minutes of gameplay, I ran into a world of glitches. Thattoo turned me off. The game at one point was in my opinion too repetative and a lot of the action was somewhat expected. Almost like if you knew you got a shoe box with shoes in it for Christmas, and once you open the gift, you come to realize that you infact got shoes.

I think that we can all agree that September brought out a lot of hot titles. Games for all systems and PC are all coming out for early fall and I could only ask myself whats next. September the 15th is my birthday and I'm going to be getting myself WET. My wife on the other hand got me DiRT 2, and yet it seems like thats not nearly "enuff". Can you guys come up with another game thats worth getting this month? Please, share it with us here.
Oh, my Game Spot Anniversery is coming up this month aswell. Sep 26.

There epic games out there that get a lot of hype, and even years after they come out, you still hear about them getting DLC, special online events or face offs, and much much more. And then there are games that come out with so much hype, and in a two months period, you never hear from that game ever again. This has been something that has kept me from buying some of the games that I missed out on buying on the release dates. And it seems like no matter how well of a score the game gets, its just a dead beat/game of the past games.
Hype is something that companies and sites use to penetrate the flush of consumers in a somewhat greedy market, making the product seem like something that the general public is lacking or/and needs. There are some titles that I'm thinking about getting for the remainder of this year and I just hope that they aren't just hyped. Sometimes playing some of these titles come with a big dead end and leads to getting ripped off at a Game Stop when you go return it for some kind of credit and figure out that you are only going to get $12 for a title that cost a good $60.
Bionic Commando is a pretty good example of what I'm talking about.

I happen to have a few things made by apple, and I found it pretty funny how almost ever product is called "I" something. For example, I own a Ipod touch, an Ipod, and an Ibook. But I just thought that everything would sound funny if it kept the "i" infront, and ended with a "u". Like
I Pod U, or I book U, or I touch U.
just a though.

I think it was a few months ago where I came up with a list of titles that I'm looking foward in getting before the end of this year is over with. I must admit that the list is getting longer and longer and thats not to mention the fact that there are alot of games and DLC that are coming out. So far this is what I was able to put together.
PS3
WET 9/8/09
Darkvoid 9/22/09 (moved to 2010)
Uncharted 2 10/1/09
Borderlands 10/20/09
Assasins Creed 2 11/17/09
The Saboteur 12/8/09
a few DLC but I wont go into posting that. However, I might blog about it in the near future.

Now that my boss is not around due his 3 week vacation, I get to blog on gamespot alot more than the usual. The problem is that I'm still having issues at work with him and only 3 people normally respond to my blog/s. Anyways, I think I'm going to be putting together the most wanted lest for the second half of the year for both the PS3 and the Wii. Do you guys have any choices you might want to share? Let me know. Good Gaming!

This is the first time ever that two gaming councles offer some sort of insentive for trying to do something out of the ordinary with your soft wear. Sometimes, they are a given, and sometimes it requiers you to do something that you would have normally not done at all. Does gamer points or trophies change the way that you play? I believe it does chang the way you play, and in some cases, it might even take you the long way to compleat the game.
I for one am a trophi hunter. And thats because I currently own a PS3. I guess you can say that things haven't changed since my 360 days with the gamer points. But the one thing that I find awesome is trying to get the platnum trophies. So far I only have one and there are a few games where I'm only missing 2 or even 3 just to get it. So you are by now asking yourself why dont I have more. The answer to your question is the fact that I have very little time on my hands. Working a full time job that I've grown to hate takes up,... well... 40 hours if not more a week. Than when I get home, I have to dedicate some time to my wife and child. I sometimes get an extra hour or two if they are sleeping or visiting friends. But whatever the case may be I still enjoy playing the game/s to the core.
But my question to the general public is the following; Do you like Gamer Points over Trophies, or is the Trophies system a better system for you over Gamer Points?

After finding out that Bioshock 2 was not coming out this year, all I was able to ask myself was "why not"? The game would have made an amazing holiday gift and just in time when everyone and their mothers go out shopping for someone. The reason why I feel dissapointed is due to the fact that my wife was going to be getting it for me later on this year. Now my dreams are shattered just because take 2 wants to push it to the following year. (sniff sniff) just kidding. I felt that I had to add some drama to this. However, I am still rater very dissapointed. Oh well, I guess I'm going to have to update my list of most wanted for 09 and 2010.

I work at a none for profit site as a Parent Coordinator and a Event Planner. For the past 2 months, I've been working in a summer camp in which is out of my job discription. My boss has been giving me endless amount of responsability that do not in any way shape or form belong in the nature of my job title. After dissapointing him (as he claims) with the task at hand, he later went on to talk about it in front of others which in my opinion shows very little leadership skills and clearly demondstraits and act of being out of character. I later recollected all of my thoughts and kept them sealed behind my lips in fear of responding in such way may get me in trouble or even fired. So now I'm trying very hard to find another job before I leave this one. And talking to the companies CEO about this topic has not been thought of twice.
To help me get this out of my head which I must admit has been pretty tuff, I started once again to play Fallout 3. I guess that this lead me to continue to try and make it to level 10 with my PSN account just for bragging rights. I've also been playing some Fat Princess. I must admit, the game is really fun, however, I lose it trying to get to join a game or find a game. I've only played the game for 2 days and I've picked up on a few glitches.
I hope you guys are having a great weekend and thanks for reading!

Last year was a great year for the gameing industry. Games like Gears of War 2 and other great titles were relesed last year while I was left thinking about what this year would role out. Well, nowif we think about it, half of the year has already gone by and there are yet to come the time where most developers release their long awaited titles.
Most developers wait until fall to let go of there crown jewel just in time for the holiday while some try to dish out the summer block buster hit. ButI thought it wouldbe fun to update my friends here on gamestop on the games that I have so far picked up in this first half of a busy gaming year.
When I got my tax return in Febuary I picked up the following;
A Nintendo Wii along with Animal Crossing, No More Heroes, and Madworld. I also got myself The Legend of Zelda (VC), A Link To The Past (VC), Super C (VC), Life Force (VC). And just last week I picked up The Conduit and Soldiers and Swords (WII WARE).
As long far as for the PS3, This year I picked up;
Uncharted, Street Fighter 4, Bionic Commando, Resident Evil 5, Motor Storm; pacific drift, Infamous, Prototype, Killzone 2.
Just last night after watching Transformers 2 the movie, my wife got me the game. I admit that growing up watching and playing with transformer toys made me the fanboy that I am today, but to my surprise, the game wasnt all that bad.
As far as PS3 DLC, I have not gotten anything as of yet, and everything that I so far own, I got last year.

For a while now, I've seen companies push back great titles and sometimes even backing up on what they claim they will do by the time E3 comes around. It seems like E3 has become just another convention where companies and systems do only one thing right... and thats create hype. I really dont talk much about Nintendo since they truely arent the next gen console and in hindsight, I've noticed that American gaming companies are doing better and better every other year (with the exseption of Midway). But I think that Capcom of japan has to stop being greedy and start coming out with more games for Norther America. There are alot of titles that Capcom alreay has planned on releasing for the wii, but so far just for japan. I wish that Nintendo would do something to encourage developers to push titles to this side of the world and forget a bit about all of the non-sence that has been brought up in the past.
For now, I cant seem to find anything going on with this years E3.... like for the past 4 years of E3s.
Feel free to tell me what you guys think about this years E3.

The other day I drove down to GameStop to put down some money on [Prototype] and my wife went ahead and place a reserve copy of The Conduit for me as a early or late fathers day gift. Right before leaving the store, on the guys that works there gave me a list of games that will be coming out later on this year for the PS3, 360, and the Wii. When I got home I look at all three list and I spoke to my wife about the items on the lists that I would like to get my hands on. Since they happen to be far apart from one another, I find it easy to get most if not all of the titles that will be released this year. Here is a list of PS3 games that I'm looking into getting.
1.Prototype
2.Dirt 2
3.Bayonetta
4.Dark Void
5.Uncharted 2
6.Bioshock 2
7.Tekken 6
8.Assasisn Creed 2
This list does not contain the DLC games or add-ons for the ps3 and I dont think I want to post up a blog for the Wii titles that I'll be getting. However, If I do, it wont be as long as this list.
