  Kirby Super Star Ultra

  Although I have Mario on my name tag, I'm as big of a Kirby fan as I am a Mario one!

  Being a gamer who started with the N64, I never got a chance to play the SNES original. I doubt Nintendo would release the original on VC, so I decided to pick up the enhanced remake for the DS. I've played through the Spring Breeze, Gormet Race, and Dyna Blade games, and while it's been an easy ride so far, I'm sure the difficulty will ramp up in the later games. I'll have my full review when I finish all the games.

  Almost finished with Super Mario RPG. Will have a review up soon.

  I'm now in the volcano near Land's End. I like what I've played so far, although I think a lot of the hype that goes into this game is from pure nostalgia (I like the Paper Mario series better). Nontheless, this is still a solid title that is well worth the 800 Wii Points for its replay value alone. I should have a full review posted in just a few days.

  Well, I finally have Mario Sluggers.

  Took them long enough. I have heard reports of people getting the game last week before it was supposed to release, and my Gamestop (as well as other retailers in my area) didn't get the game until today. Can you believe that? Anyways I'm enjoying what I've played so far. The gameplay is much more forgiving this time around. When you fail to hit a home run with a charged shot, it usually will be a powerful low ball instead of a fly ball. The characers themselves are also more balanced. Yoshi is no longer overpowered and Pianta is now very useful at bat. I should post a full review in a few days.
