Ok, for those of you that haven't played the witcher and you ARE an RPG fan, this game is a great choice!
It has an awesome idea for combat, to where it actually takes some skill. The graphics are superb and look really great. It feels like your walking around in a castle or a swamp, not just walking around a room fully of muddy textures and things that are supposed to be furniture and plants. It has an excellent story, and includes a more mature audience influence in it. The games strongpoint is definately the story and the combat system. The combat system uses a mixture or silver and steel sword usage, and damage is determined by what style you use (Strong, fast, or group) and what kind of sword your using.
It really is a great game and whoever is in the mood for a good RPG this is definately a must-buy.
A good year for 2007. A new year for us all.

So I saw some pretty sweet games come out in 2007.

Crysis - COD4 - The Witcher - Bioshock -

These are all great games. I have to admit, I was not a big fan of Bioshock, Crysis, or Call of Duty 4 when they first came out, but when I bought and tried the games, it was worth my money! I work in a coffeeshop making 7 bucks an hour, so, if I spend my hard earned money on a game, I want to play what it's worth. Call of Duty 4 was definitely worth it for multiplayer no doubt, and Crysis has the most amazing engine I have ever played. Period. Real time shadows, awesome physics, collapsible buildings, great explosions and particle effects, and every time I look at the water I'm dumbfounded. It's BEAUTIFUL! haha.

Anyone have any good new year resolutions? Mine are, get buff (As of every year since 2004), become a better Christian and not such a jerk, and, get more friends, because I have two. haha.

peace on earth...I forgot the rest of the song.

Hype and Games.

So, I have noticed these days that games have advertising and they have issues and they have things that get out there that makes people excited about playing them. For one thing, Halo 3. Halo 3 is probably the game that has had the MOST hype out there all this year beyond any other games, no doubt, but did it live up to it? The storyline in Halo 2 left many people haning, that caught the crowd on wanting to buy Halo 3, to find out what happened! People were also expecting lots of brand new things and new attributes and the whole shabang in this game and wanting a revolution (without a doubt the series was definately revolutionary) but it is a game that will go down in history as the greatest of all time that most, if not all 360 users were expecting? This applies to other games, CoD4, Crysis, Half-Life 2 ep. 2 and so on so forth. I think the problem today is that users build up hype and build build build (Bob himself would go out of business) that it makes the games seem bad compared to what they were expecting. Turning into...an epidemic. Oh well.

Anyone seen Howl's Moving Castle? It's AMAZING!!

Resident Evil 4

Of course!

Resident Evil 4 is not going to get such a good rating as to the greater gamecube version, although. It still has some good touches of action to it, and does not leave a gamer sitting in a pile of wasted money. No no, the games got kick, even in a watered down version, and I like....er....love it!

Currently thats whats keeping me busy, get a controller, and find out yourself!

Just a few human fights in the witcher, quest was working girls as you can see at the end. Sorry for the pauses, although one shows the action nicely. Used Aard sign lots.
