What has Steve been up to lately?

Steve noticed that he hadn't posted a blog in a long time, so he decided to overcome his laziness and try for another blog post. So Steve logged into GameSpot, and started to write a blog in third-person. Then he started questioning to himself why he was writing in third-person and he switched back to a first-person blog.

Huh, what have I been doing lately? Uh, homework and stuff, but that's too lame to blog about. Well, I rented Call of Duty World at War for the Wii () and I thought it was pretty good...even though it was for the Wii. Since I had only rented it, I didn't touch Campaign mode at all, and instead stuck to online multiplayer for the whole time I had it. Was quite fun, in my opinion. I got up to level 30 before I had to return it. Maybe sometime I'll buy it.

Other then that, I haven't done anything notable. Well, I did watch the OnLive Press Conference, and that looked really cool. Interesting technology. Unfortunately, my internet is super slow with a download rate of 60 KB/second, so I won't ever be able to use OnLive with this internet connection.

I've also been watching the DSi articles on GameSpot, and I played around with the console just today after a friend bought it. I wrote a review for it, but as far as I know, GameSpot doesn't have player reviews for consoles (correct me if I'm wrong!), so I guess it'll only be posted on GameFAQs.

    That'll be all for now,

    School is FINALLY starting!!

Wait, NOOOOOOOOOOO! Please, oh please don't let them pile me with work. I won't be able to take it. Yeah, my break is over after tomorrow and I have to go back to school on Monday. Such a pity. Luckily I had a pretty good break, and it wasn't a total waste. I went to the movies once, went to a friend's place once, and the rest was mostly computer and video games. Wooo!

I did end up getting Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (finally...) and I've gotten up to 18% according to the game completion percentage thingy which I've been told isn't so accurate. For those that have the game and have played it (beyond 18 percent,) I'm at the boss of Bryyo, and I need to destroy the seed thingy. Yeah, the seed thingy. Great terminology.

As for the movie I saw, it was "Knowing." Uh, the one starring Nicolas Cage. I think it was an okay movie, but the end was kind of... well... I'll leave you to figure out. I think the creators just got lazy near the end. For those that want to know what happens at the end of the movie:

    ***SPOILER***

Well, that's really all I've been up to lately. Maybe sooner or later I'll write a review for Metroid Prime. That is, assuming school doesn't kill me.

New Review: Need for Speed Undercover (Wii)

    NFS Banner

Need for Speed Undercover is Electronic Arts' latest racing game. It was first released in America on November 17, 2008, and gave many Need for Speed fans a reason to get excited. Unlike Need for Speed ProStreet which focused on legal races, Undercover had the return of risky street racing, and fun cop battles. This game was made to please the Need for Speed fans, but did it succeed? Critics and reviewers have pointed out many negative points in the game, but should those points deter people from playing the game? Is the game worth playing? While this game might not be as good as previous versions in the Need for Speed series, I still think that it's an okay addition to the series.

The rest of the review can be found here.

Read it, or some of it, if you want to, and I'd appreciate it if you recommended it or "un-recommended" it.

Personally, I didn't like this review that much. I just didn't like the way it flowed through.
