  I thought it would be a thing of the past
  when I moved onto high school.
  NO SUCH LUCK.

  ***laughingly shakes head and sighs***

  YEP.
  Dodgeball still springs eternal.
  With that being said, come clean:

  WHAT WAS THE LAST TIME you were verbally

  
  CLOCKED
  in the head?
  (You know, a total "self-absorbed" loud-mouthed
  you with an unsolicited opinion about you,
  or something you were doing.)
  ?

  I DON'T KNOW if "totally self-absorbed"
  is a fair assessment or not, but--
  YES. Yes, I do know.
  IT IS.

  JUST FOR TODAY, wouldn't it be fun if it was? Life exactly like TV? I'm going to give it a go! How about you? Yeah! I'm picking my all-time favorite episode of Leave It to Beaver and living it for the next twenty-four hours! Likewise, I'm sure? (I knew I could count on you!) I can't wait for a spontaneous chunk of "authentic" rock & roll music --shaken, not stirred with a smitch of beatnik jazz riding shotgun-- to play every time I enter a room!
