The user I look up to the most: #1

    *drum roll*

    1.)Darth-Caedus
    Level 31- Ippon! (92%)

    The Shredder's Union

The big uno. I first met Darth around OT, not too long after I started becoming active. The thing I remember most about him from before I knew him was this huge ass list of bands he would post every time someone asked for a music recommendation. I'd look through a music thread just looking for the red wall of death. More than once when I was talking about what I liked to listen to, he poked some fun at me (KoRn heh heh, Slipknot, heh heh) and told me to listen to some metal. Well, for a while I just ignored it thinking "Hey, jerk, shut up!" but then I decided to actually give it a try. So I took the list he had, and picked a few bands off of it. At first, I thought it wasn't anything. The first few bands I tried weren't that great, in my opinion. And then I decided to look up Children of Bodom. The effect was instant. I had a new favorite band! Less than a year later, the way I look at music is completely changed. I enjoy music so much more now. My entire image pretty much changed. Before, I would think I was cool and hardcore because I listened to Slipknot as loud as I could put it. Then I started to see how wrong I was as I learned more about metal. I grew out my hair, started wearing band shirts all the time, and even started to learn how to play the guitar. I even made more friends; No longer was I this no name who didn't stand out at all. I learned where I could fit in, and I'm friends with many great people now that I wasn't before. It also feels good to be able to tell someone to listen to a really obscure band from Sweden or Germany. This is the reason I look up to Darth the most; He is like a metal encyclopedia. He helped me get into the music I love most, and he indirectly made my life better. I'm sure that sounds pretty weird, but hey, I guess you can get inspiration from some weird places.

And there you have it! The end. The honorable mentions blog will be up by Sunday, and I'll do the tag blog some time after that. Thanks everyone!

    Level 26- Cyber Lip (59%)

All-Out Nintendo, GameSpot Statistics Database, SonicSpot, The Nintendo DS RPG Union, The Guide and Discussion Union, Nintendo Dream, The Ultimate Union for UCBs and Unions, Totally Awesome Pokemon

I had only heard of Cloud at first. kjhg53, one of the current officers and co-founders of Legend of Nintendo, was part of the All-Out Nintendo, as an officer at the time. I had heard that AON was an incredibly successful union, but I never got around to joining it for a while. Cloud came to LoN one day when he heard that we had a 3k view day. That later caused me to join AON, which I now am an officer at. I really look up to Cloud because he is a great leader, as shown by his immense success with AON. I've gone to him for help more than once. He also got me a little into stats, around the time I was approaching 10k posts. I like to pay attention to those things now, and it's made me a more active member of GameSpot. We've also had a few somewhat personal conversations, and I feel like if I needed to talk to someone unbiased I could go to him, as well as he could come to me if he ever needs help.

    Level 41- Thunder Force (78%)

The Major League Baseball Union, The Toonami Union, The Gotei 13

Nica was another person I met through the Toonami Union (damn it, I need to make it a habit to go there more!). When I first joined the TU I made a thread about Maburaho, an anime that I had recently watched. I was asking if there should be a second season to it. In that thread, I got into a conversation with Nica and it went from there. I look up to Nica because he has an extensive knowledge of both anime and manga, and he is a cool person. I've gotten recommendations from him, and talked with him a lot about different titles that I've enjoyed. He is also the only person I know who also enjoys "My Balls" and "Futari Ecchi". Which is a huge plus.

    Level 29- Radiant Silvergun (88%)

Legend of Nintendo, The Crious Gamers Union, All-Out Nintendo, The Blue Bomber Battalion, Sega Zone, The Digi-Destined Base, Tri-Fusion

Kj's been around since the start of my active time on GS. He was one of the most active posters in the original Pokemon threads on the Platinum boards, and still is part of what that was (in the form of LoN). He's mature, which is something I respect. I can rely on him to take my place as leader of LoN if that ever needs to happen, and I can be sure the union would be in good hands. He also is very funny, and pretty weird, so in other words, he's like me. He's a great help at LoN, and I don't think I could do the job without him there (or any of the other officers, for that matter)

There you have it, only one more to go!After number one, I'll have an honorable mentions blog and then I have my tag blog to make. Expect number one some time this weekend.

The Signature and Tag Making Team, GFXplosion, The Mario Kart Club, Designers in Training, Ultimate Design union

I'm going to look like a stalker with this one. I first saw MotD around the forums somewhere and I loved his sig. I was envious of his talents and hoped to have him make me something someday. The biggest problem was that I didn't know how I was going to actually meet him. But then I joined the All-Out Nintendo union, which he was an officer in. He was the one who encouraged me to catch up to him in posts (which I did. ) and to get to 10k (which I did. ). His designing works also caused me to download GIMP, which I use to this day.

    Level 30- Wicked Sick! (66%)

The Toonami Union, The Everything Old School Union

I met Sin through the Toonami Union, namely through Dimension Wars: Last Force Standing. He approached me and a few other people and we worked together for a while. I was struck by his leadership skills. He knew how to keep us all in while still keeping himself in the position to win at any time. I was honored to work with him, and I was hoping I might have ended up on his team for Dim Wars IV. He is a really cool guy, and could kick my ass in any form of debate. (not that I'd want to try it. ).

    Duder.jpg picture by Sora_X
    5.)Dudersaper
    Level 29- Radiant Silvergun (50%)

Ultimate Design union, All-Out Nintendo, EnVision Group, Music Is Life Union, Mass Designer's Lounge

I first met Duder on OT. I knew right away that he was a cool guy because he liked KoRn. He was the first person I found on GS who also liked them. And finally someone who didn't cringe at the name. Duder is really funny, and enjoys most of the same music I do, which gets him an A+ in my book. We're also gay lovers, but that's a different story.

Stay tuned for numbers 4 to 2!
