    I Have a blog?!

Well, lately i've been busy with life. In January i got fired from a good paying job (lateness), and i just quit some crap loan officer job that payed me $336 for 3 WEEKS! That's NOTHING to me! So right now im currently looking for another job. I'm thinking about going into a governmental postal worker job(lots of benefits). Only thing is, i gotta take a urine-test I think i can pass it though (if i drink like 10 gallons of water every day lol). I also decided NOT to go to college for this semester. Thank god i didn't, b/c then i wouldn't have any money to pay for it! But not only b/c of that, but now im having a change of heart. I'm currently majoring in Computer Repair Technology (i wanted to get a career in networking). But now im thinking on becoming a computer animator or game programmer. *Sigh*...I need some dam guidance in my life..

Other than that, i've been gaming a lot more recently due to these not so good events in my life. Ive been playing a lot of Rainbow 6 VEGAS. I love that game! Ive been playing it since October. I usually like to play Team Sharpshooter. I love the Streets map. Im not like everyone else in there thats always playing Attack and Defend in Calypso Casino. Im pretty good at the game if i say so my self. Im currently ranked as a Sgt General (or something like that), with 600 and somethin kills (and 600 deaths lol )

I also just recently got The Orange Box for the 360. 5 games, 1 box. It contains Half-Life 2, Episode 1, Episode 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2. I had already beaten Half Life 2 and Episode 1 on the PC. But im replaying it so i can get all the achievements. The PC version is soooo much better! I had to get used to using a controller with HL instead of a keyboard and mouse. The console version was also made easier as well. Something that i didnt really like. Im playing Half-Life 2 in hard mode right now and im pretty much almost done with it. I already beat Episode 2 and i seriously thought it would be a LOT longer. Good game, just that im upset with how short it was. I just hope that they'll make a Half-Life 3 now instead of another 30 minute episode .

And now its about Portal. Portal is such an amazing game that also manages to be hilarious at the same time. I love this game! I just love how i can jump off a ledge and just....keep on falling for ever and ever! Although i was surprised when i found out that Portal won GDC game of the year (but then again it was developers that had voted, not the gaming public). Team Fortress is another cool game. Its only online but who cares! Its so addictive! I LOVE the Spy. In 2Fort, i dominate with him. I also like the engineer, demoman, and the sniper. I dont like the heavy though, he moves to slow for my pacing. Right now im trying to get my Gravel Pit achievement. For those who know the game, ya'll must know that its almost impossible to defend the Gravel Pit without any captures from the opposing team. But im still trying!

My 360 gamertag is Bushido JIN (GlitchSpot wont let me put my gamertag in my profile due to some error), and im always either playing VEGAS or Team Fortress2 online. If ya wanna play, just hit me up with a message. Well, laterz!

    The ownage that is Bioshock...

Its been a while since a new blog...ok, a looong while since a new blog . But any who, im finally writing a blog so ya betta post in it! Or prepare to be shunned! SHHHUUUNNED!!!!

So i got Bioshock the day it came out. Ive played the demo more than once so i knew what i was doing in the intro. Oh, btw...this game has one of the most AMAZING presentations i have ever seen since MGS1 and Half-Life2! And thats saying very little . But here i am, i get past the part where the demo ends, and im cant help but think, "this game is so amazing i can spend an hour just looking at the scenery!" SERIOUSLY! This game is absolutely gorgeous! And i wasnt even playing on my HDTV at the time !

So i find a shotgun thats just laying there on the ground, in this gigantic room thats darker than anything, with only one bright light shinning where the shotgun lay. And im thinking, "as soon as i pick up this shotty, i know something is gonna happen!" Well....i was right lol! [spoiler] Suddenly all the lights shut-off back and forth, while at the same time im hearing maniacal screams from crazy grannies coming from all sides! I get my electrical charge ready to stun one of the ladies momentarily, and BOOM!, i blast them with the shotgun. Then...BOOM again! Only i missed! And i get whacked hard!

Not only that....this game has made me realized that im a hardcore achievement junkie . Literally the first thing i did once i booted up Bioshock was check out the achievements to see if they have one for beating the game on hard. Unsurprisingly it did, in which i choose Hard Mode at the start up menu just to get that achievement . Which im sorta regretting now cause the game is..well...F-ing HARD lolz! But im still pushing, and i know im gonna beat this game.

The point of this thread....is that BioShock has the potential to win Game of the Year. HUGE potential! And im only in the beginning! Which also bring me to another point. The score that GS has giving to Bioshock. While i dont disagree with the 9.0 it received, i believe thats a fair score. What i disagree is with Jeff's professional reviews. He states that after long hours of play time, there can be second long freezes in the game. Look, i played Bioshock from 7pm last night, to 2am. Thats 7 hours, and i didnt experience a dam thing. Elder Scrolls IV : Oblivion had the most "hitches" that i have ever seen in any game on my 360, and it received a score of 9.6. And the reviewer (which was not Jeff, it was Greg Kasavin) stated that the technical issues where passable. Also, Jeff states that the games lack of death penalty (which i some-what disagree) makes things too easy. Well....he's obviously not playing on hard mode like my ass is I believe that Bioshock should have deserved that 9.5. B/c quite frankly, with this new review system in place, a .5 means a lot now. I under stand that a review is all based on opinion, but Jeff's past reviews (Gears of Wars 9.6 and ZELDA: TP's 8.8 ) is making him look very un-proffesional in my personal opinion. Im beginning to think that GS uses reviews to boost activity/traffic up (specifically in System Wars) by giving extremly surprising reviews (Tony Hawk 3 ring a bell??) despite many other common and similiar reviews found among other gamesites other than GS it self.

GameSpot is beginning to lose its good credibility. Fanboys are now indirectly ruining GS' credibility b/c of System Wars being GameSpots main drive in its forum system. That, is the biggest point of my blog. Agree? Disagree?

    ZOMG! Raiden=Big Boss !!!

ok, so many of you might be asking, how in the world can a pansy such as Raiden even be in the same league as Big Boss!? Well, theres more to Raiden than meets the eye my friend.

MGS3 - If you've beaten MGS3, then you know of the tragic relationship between The Boss and Naked Snake. The Boss, the greatest soldier that America(edit: The WORLD!) has ever seen. Naked Snake, trained by the best, and survived the test(over and over again). Although he had no battle experience when it came to jungle warfare before The Virtuous Mission, he proved to be quite usefull to his government official's (as well as The Boss, who's connection to the US exceeded that of Big Boss).

MGS2 - Now lets examine MGS2's similarities. For one, Raiden has never been in a real life mission before the Big Shell(keyword: mission). He was however, trained in over hundred's of VR mission's. Is it starting to click yet? But VR mission's was not the only training he received. The best training that Raiden received in his life was by Solidus Snake when he was young. Solidus took everything away from Raiden. Which i find ironic since The Boss' relationship with Naked Snake was the complete opposite of Raidens and Solidus.

Now lets take a look at Raidens mentor; Solidus Snake. He was actually the president of the United States for a short time. Went by the alias of George Sear's. He later resigned (atleast, thats what the media thought), and went into deep underground hiding. And later surprised the hell out of The Patriots with the Big Shell incident when he sided with suppoused Terrorist( Dead Cell). The Boss went through similiar treatment. She was the 1st human to be sent to the moon, years later, is unseen for about 3 years (suppousably she was in a huge confidential mission). After she comes out of hiding, the US government finds that she has sided with the USSR, and has blown up a research facility using the US' own portable nuclear missle (The Davy Crocket). I know, it freaked me out too.

Solidus Snake, third son to be born of the Les Enfant Terribles Project. He was endowed with a masterful balance of both dominent, and recessive genes, leading to be the perfect clone. In a sense, Solidus is Big Boss. So for Raiden to be trained by this legendary soldier is 100% comparable to The Boss training Naked Snake. Think of it this way, The Boss was the ultimate soldier before the turn of the 20th century, followed by Big Boss, and later we see the new "reincarnation" of the new ultimate soldiers, none other than the 3 Snake clones. The legacy of Big Boss continues in Solid, Liquid's, and Solidus' gene's. But clones dont live forever, so who's next to take the legendary soldier status. You should already know the answer to that one.

We all know the side-effects of cloning, rapid aging and, well....rapid aging! Due to this problem, Solidus Snake was "dethroned" long before Solid and Liquids death (Liquid's death is debatable). He aged faster than the other 2. And it was a good thing too. He trained Raiden just in time in order for him to atleast be next to our hero Solid Snake (admit it). How can anyone deny the huge similarities between the two final battles in MGS3 and MGS2? The Boss vs. Naked Snake contained much emotion. That emotion, was later revived in the heat of Raiden's and Solidus' sword fight. The Patriots, just like the US government back in the 60's, told Raiden to kill his (wait for it) Step Father, told Naked Snake to kill his beloved mentor. Naked Snake felt betrayed by his government, the honor and loyalty of a soldier was non-existent after Snakes final encounter with The Boss. Raiden on the other hand, was locked in a paradox. He hated Solidus with all his heart after he told him about his grueling past, Raiden wanted him dead. BUT, The Patriots wanted Raiden to do this from the beginning, and Raiden didnt want any part in helping The Patriots. Like i said, Raiden was locked in a paradox.

And now we move to MGS4. The big daddy of them all. With Raiden now officially known as "Cyborg Raiden", i cant help but also think of, you guessed, Gray Fox, Cyborg Ninja, Deepthroat,.......Frank..Jaeger. Trained by Big Boss himself, oh come on! You should already know that Big Boss training Jaeger = Solidus' training Raiden!!!

So are you still asking your self how in the world can a pansy such as Raiden even be in the same league as Big Boss? Yea...i thought so....
