Quick update
Hello peoples of the world!
Just a brief update on what I have been up to. I went to see Alice Cooper at Wembley Arena last night and that was pretty damn cool. Joan Jett was pretty good with the pop punk sounds of her older stuff but then newer stuff sounding a bit more introverted. Wasn't really in to the newer stuff but she was a good perfomer and her set up in terms of sound was decent, she was coherant and defined. Unlike the next act!
Motorhead were on after and they were horrible. You could not hear a thing all it was was this dirge of muddy sounds and squealing guitars when a solo came on. It offended my ears, it really did! I went outside to get a beer and much to my suprise there were a lot of people outside, maybe they thought the same as I about motorhead. Quite a few motorhead fans there but that band has become more of a fashion band in my opinion and a lot of people will say they like them without ever owning an album of theirs or going to see them at a gig until Alice Cooper. They were naff sounding, I personally am not much of a fan of Motorhead themself but they didn't themselves any favours with that horrible sound setup

Alice Cooper was bloody brilliant. An excellent showman and did a mixture of his new and old and quite a few songs off the album welcome to my nightmare (love that album) and there was quite a bit of theatrics in his set with him being put in the gallows and hung. That was pretty cool, reminded me quite a bit circus of horrors or something similar. His sound of course was quite professional and well defined and rehearsed. Great stuff.
On the games side of things just still playing Samurai Warriors 2. I have got to the final stage with kanatsegu and it's a royal annoyance. You achieve the main objective then have to wait for his father to turn up so you can kill so even if you rush the castle and kill the mission objective you still have to kill the father just like you had not killed the son in time. It's dumb! Just reword the objectives -_-
So I've nearly completed it with another character now, gonna jaunt off and achieve that goal now methinks!

Grmpf!
So I was quite happily trundling along doing work stuff then pow...out of nowhere I start taking trips down memory lane and think about an ex I used to date.
You know the kind where when it was good it was so goddamn good that you just wanted to be frozen in that moment or just to live that perfect day over and over. You remember the little things like smells and what you did and how cold it was (it was around this time about 4 years ago that I had the best time with her) and at times like these I miss it with every fibre of my being.
People could say that I'm not over her but I don't think I'd ever be fully over her...not in the sense that if she was like: "Oh Neil, Marry me!" I'd be like: "Shall we set a date?
" just that we had some times that were so awesome that they will always be fond memories that I carry with me. Don't get me wrong of course there were times that sucked ass and I got hurt etc. However that's not what makes me feel a mild sort of melancholy and want me to reminisce. Me and Her also do not talk...not because we threw crockery at each other and wished each other dead, just that we have lost touch and drifted apart. Which is of course what happens after you break up.
I will pretty much always wear my heart on my sleeve and put my heart in over my head in matters like this and I do not regret that. All the hurt feelings and frustration and whatever are all worth it when you just have those days that are just the closest thing to perfect...
I bet you're all wondering why the hell I am posting this here and it should be an LJ entry or something equally emotionally charged but I feel like I can post this here and it would be read and someone would appreciate my situation and empathise. I've managed to become a lot more sociable on here and am beginning to plumb hidden depths of myself. I'd be sitting on the bus thinking: "what can I write on my blog today" and I do plan to start submitting articles once I can gather a suitable train of thought

Take care all ^^

LaL!!!!
Hm no update for a couple of days on here. Not much has been happening really!
Work has been kinda busy as we've had a lot of things going on and things to-ing and throwing. Fun times. My weekend was pretty straight forward though terribly short! I got a longer weekend this weekend as I have the Monday off and then go home on a half day on Friday (love them half days). Going to see Alice Cooper at Wembley Arena on Saturday as well. Should be nifty hopefully.
So I have been playing Call of Duty 4 and Samurai Warriors 2. Samurai warriors 2 was acutally quite suprisingly interesting for me! I quite like it, as long as you accept it as it is which is a hack n slash dealy it's good! The storylines are quite involving and the characters are nicely polished and animated also conditions for winning are quite good with things taking twists and turns in different directions. The difficulty is challenging but not insane and it's a lot easier to grasp than say Dynasty Warriors Empires which I didn't like that much at all really. Confused the hell out of me as to why I couldn't advance through to new levels and re-live some old scenarios.
This game is your straight forward hack n slash really but it has hidden qualities such as character design/progression, weapon design and just the entire gameplay in my opinion. The soundtrack is a bit poor though which is a let down for this type of game which is developed by the same guys who made Dynasty warriors (Loved dynasty warriors 2 on the PS2).
Call of duty 4 as per my review is awesome. However I got kinda burned out with it and stopped playing for a while till I feel the need. I might go for the Veteran Achievements (I know a friend whose pretty much got all of them) but I did get frustrated at points with it on Regular (I suck) so going for Vet may make me wanna throw my controller out the window. lol.
I bought Forza 2 off a work buddy today as well so I have plenty to keep me occupied! Was looking at the new WoW patch...might think about going back to it though I doubt it (damn WoW Addictions...)
Well maybe update later/tmw
Cya!
