Talking of Factor X...
First if you guys don't know what Factor X is, visit the following webpage and download the game (it's free).

So. Did you know that the guys at Fallen Angel Industries are making a sequel for that ultra gore-action packed-freeware game? I recently updated my favorites and I rediscovered the Fallen Angel Industries' website (http://www.faind.com). I started reading some of their news and to my surprise I saw THE news: FX 2 update! So here goes everything they've got for us.
First series of Screenshots from the upcoming sequel:

Then there is this amazing movie showing the game's brand new engine (oh my eyes... the particles.. *blank stare*):

Plus the games is gonna feature an original soundtrack and you can listen to the latest one (the one they just completed with 11 so far):

What happens when you have a very low-end PC?
Well you concentrate on the console gaming business and on the freeware/abandon-ware games for the PC. In fact there are some games that I would'nt even know the existence if I had a uber-powerful computer. Games like Soldat (http://www.soldat.pl), Spacehog (http://www.freelunchdesign.com) or even Factor X (http://www.faind.com).
Right now I have a:
- Pentium 3 with 668Mhz
- 384 Mb SD-RAM
- 15Gb HD
- Abit Siluro/Nvidia Geforce 2 MX 200 32-bit graphic card
- Windows Xp Pro with SP2
- A helluva lot of CPU-Intensive programs that are a pain in the @ss to run.
But I have a summer job that pays pretty good now so I'm saving up for a new (monster) computer. I'm just waiting for the next-gen stuff (Suggestions from my friends: Nvidia 7800 graphic cards series!
) to start shopping around. Until then I'll just continue on with the money saving up.
