  Enough is enough already !!!

  Well it's been a hell of a long time since i did a blog,so here it is !

  As well we all know Monday's are VC day for the Wii and like most of you i find what has come out on the VC right here at Gamespot.What really gets me is i find myself reading peoples post and comments about what games have come out and i really tired of seeing the majority of them being about how this weeks games suck,nothing good,i thought __________ was suppose to come out this week ect....I here to tell you all enough is enough already,Nintendo has thousands of potential games that can come out on VC,so give it up .You really think that all the best games are going to come out within the first few months or even years? of course not !!Just sit back and relax,check out a game that you have never heard of cause you never know you might find your self liking it !

  Rememberance Day

  ONLY 3 REMAIN.
  3 OLD SOLDIERS.
  OUR LAST LIVING CONNECTIONS TO THE GREAT WAR.
  3 CANADIAN VETERANS OF WORLD WAR 1 ARE STILL ALIVE. BUT REALISTICALLY NOT FOR MUCH LONGER.
  THEY ARE ALL WELL OVER A HUNDRED YEARS OLD.
  THEY FOUGHT IN THE WAR TO END ALL WARS.
  A WAR THAT CHANGED CANADA FOREVER. HISTORIANS TELL US OUR COUNTRY WAS BORN AT A PLACE CALLED VIMY RIDGE.
  61 THOUSAND CANADIANS DIED IN THAT WAR. AN ALMOST UNTHINKABLE NUMBER. OUR COUNTRY WAS YOUNG AND SMALL.
  YET WE EARNED OUR STRIPES , RESPECT AND OUR MEMBERSHIP IN THE WORLD COMMUNITY.
  IT WAS AN IMPORTANT TIME FOR CANADA.
  AND WE SHOULD HONOUR THE SACRIFICE MADE BY SO MANY.
  THE DOMINION INSTITUTE IS PETITIONING THE HARPER GOVERNMENT TO COMMIT TO A FULL STATE FUNERAL FOR THE LAST OF WORLD WAR ONE VETS.
  STATE FUNERALS ARE NORMALLY RESERVED FOR GOVERNORS GENERAL AND PRIME MINISTERS. BUT THIS WOULD BE A FITTING WAY TO HONOUR AN ENTIRE GENERATION.

  ON THIS REMEMBRANCE DAY 2006, WE SHOULD ALSO PLEDGE TO THE KEEP OUR HISTORY ALIVE.
  TO TEACH OUR CHILDREN AND THEIR CHILDREN TO NEVER TAKE OUR WHAT WE HAVE FOR GRANTED. OUR WAY OF LIVING, OUR FREEDOM WAS PAID FOR IN BLOOD IN FAR OFF PLACES WITH NAMES SUCH DIEPPE, PASSCHENDAELE.
  SO MANY DIED ...SO MUCH SACRIFICE FOR OUR FREEDOM TODAY.
  KING GEORGE VI SAID THIS AT THE DEDICATION OF THE NATIONAL WAR MEMORIAL IN OTTAWA IN 1939 "WITHOUT FREEDOM THERE CAN BE NO ENSURING PEACE, AND WITHOUT PEACE, NO ENDURING FREEDOM" THOSE WORDS STILL HOLD TRUE.
  IN FLANDERS FIELDS, THE POPPIES BLOW.
  BETWEEN THE CROSSES, ROW ON ROW.
  THAT MARK OUR PLACE; AND IN THE SKY
  THE LARKS, STILL BRAVELY SINGING, FLY
  SCARCE HEARD AMID THE GUNS BELOW
  IT IS DISTURBING THAT OVER HALF OF YOUNG CANADIANS ARE UNAWARE OF LIEUTENANT- COLONEL JOHN MCCREA AND HIS TIMELESS MASTERPIECE.
  WE MUST DO BETTER TO EDUCATE OUR CHILDREN AND SO THAT WE WILL ALWAYS HONOUR THOSE WHO WENT BEFORE US.

  Highway To Hell !

  As many off you may know by now there was a structurel failure of an highway overpass in the city of Laval which is north of Montreal just over a week ago in which 5 people lost their lives and half a dozen or so injured when a 12mx20m section fell onto the highway below.

  

  This part of the highway was built 36 years ago and was supose to last a total of 70 years.It's also not the first time that an overpass has colapsed in Laval,six years ago another overpass killing one person.

  Now what really get me about the whole thing is why was there not more done to prevent this disasster.Because there were warning signs before the colapse.An hour an a half before the colapse a 911 call was made by someone informing that there were peices of concret falling from the overpass.Police answered the call and a road crew from transport Quebec removed the concret.Half an hour before the colapse "Inspectors" where sent to inspect the overpass and said that everthing was fine,Oops !

  A second overpass on the same sretch of highway was closed as a procaution due to the fact that it constructed at the same time as the other one and was made from the same materials and has since been torn down.

  Now drivers around Montreal and surrounding ares are keeping an eye as they drive under overpasses cause you never know if your entering the highway to hell!
