It's going to be a jolly good year! Can't believe they're remaking Wind Waker. I'm super excited because not too many people played Wind Waker compared to other titles and it deserves more players. I can't wait for SSB either. The next Zelda is going to be non-linear which is similar to the original Zelda in which you can go to any dungeon at any time in the game. Bayonetta 2 looks cool as well. A lot of cool stuff happening.

YAHOOOOO!
Today Nintendo announced a slew of new games coming to Wii U!
A new 3D Mario (that is to say, the next "real" Mario) will be developed by Nintendo EAD Tokyo (Nintendo's current golden boys) and it will be playable at E3 this year (I know whose booth I'm visiting first)!
A new Mario Kart for Wii U will also be present at E3, and will ensure Wii U's push more copies than ever.
The new Smash BRos. is in development, and Nintendo will show something off at E3 (sadly, I take it that means it's not playable). Here's hoping Geno makes it in.
A brand new Zelda is in the works, and an HD remake of The Wind Waker is due this Fall (WHOAHMIGOSH I CAN'T BELIEVE!).
A new Yoshi game is in the works from the creators of Kirby's Epic Yarn and the director of Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Story. Here's hoping it's more Yoshi's Island and less Yoshi's Story.
The Wii U Virtual Console will launch in the Spring, starting with NES and SNES games, with GBA games following suite (and I would imagine N64 and GC titles as well, unless they plan to give most of their classics the Wind Waker HD treatment). Say what you want, any excuse to buy Mario RPG again and I'll take it!
A Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei crossover game is in the works (I know, strange pairing but who cares).
Man, I simply cannot wait for E3. I'll probably be going again this year. But will I be able to leave the Nintendo booth?
