    Magic Three

Hey kids, I wasn't planning on making a blog this week. Don't really have the time =[

But I'm just gonna make one that takes me 10 minutes at most.

Life has been swell, school is keeping me busy but that's a good thing. I turned one of my cla$$ mates into a True Blood-fan, so that is very interesting. That show has me totally obsessed by the way, expect some reviews next week .

As theme for the blog, I thought i'd rank my three favorite season three gag reels. 'cause those are always entertaining.

Even if you don't watch the shows, just watch 'em

    Angel: Season 3

Best Part: Julie Benz going into labor, but it sounding like something... else.

Best Quote: I looked at the *beep* wrong side of the camera - Keith Sarasomething

    Lost: Season 3

Best Part: Emilie drowning and then Dom making her crack up. Hilarious XD

Best Quote: I feel like Darth Vader - Elizabeth Mitchell

    *drumroll*

    BSG: Season 3

This is the funniest gag reel i've ever seen. Enjoy.

Best Part: Soo many, but I loved the clips from the actors old movies.

Best Quote: *plays with Helfer* Put that on your perv tape - Lucy Lawless

    Whoo, that's all for now

Now go make me proud and drink some of my True Blood.

    Blackout Day

In case you haven't heard about it yet, Glenn is organizing a tv.com blackout day the 30th of September to change the dreadfullness of tv.com's new layout.

Why bother? I'd say, we can always try. Go to his Blogs for more info. [/lazy]

Anyway, who's been having a good week? I have. I'm looking forward to school. Which is kinda sad

and my Forum will be updated to V3 soon. So be sure to check it out when it's updated. Lots of new features, and no ads.

Tv-wise, My mom finally finished watching BSG - Season 4 with me. I had a blast seeing my mom enjoying a sci-fi. Who would've thought? I might start a BSG episode countdown soon.

We started watching Carnivale last week, and she's enjoying that one a lot so far. I effing love this show, it was about time I rewatched it again. Definitely Top 3 Material.

    Heroes 3x01&02

I'm seriously starting to ask myself why i'm still watching this shyte?
The Season opener had some of the worst acting on the show so far, and that from a show full of crappy actors. The Sylar/Claire scenes were especially horrific.
It was like reading a bad comic book with terrible dialog, only life-action. What else happened? Oh yeah, Mohinder got himself some super powers and future Peter shot Nathan. It's like watching Smallville all of a sudden.
Second episode was a whole lot better, it actually seemed like it was trying to advance the story. It had some decent special effects and Ali Larter came back into the game. I almost forgot why i'm still watching this show, and when she came on screen I suddenly remembered.
    "The Second Coming" Rating: D+
    "The Butterfly Effect" Rating: B

    Fringe 1x02&03

Okay, my main problem with this show is the lead actress. I'm not even gonna go look up her name, she's just unconvincing, uncharismatic and completely uninteresting. She doesn't add anything to the show except some really blunt facial expressions.
The show also fails at captivating my interest. it's slow moving, and at times, quite boring.
But on the plus side, I do think that the acting is quite good in most cases. I really like the Walter-character, and his father/son relationship with Peter. Their dinamic-relationship is the only thing that really interests me at this point.
Both episodes were stand-alone-ish. Neither was remotely original, but they weren't bad either. I liked the second episode the most so far, it was well done and had a some good character moments. The third episode seemed like it was trying to develop the minor Mythology of the show, but it failed at keeping me interest. However, I do think that it's a well done show, and I feel like it might have some good episodes in the future. So for now... i'm sticking with it, even though i'm far from sold.
"The Same Old Story" Rating: B-
    "The Ghost Network" Rating: C+

    The Office 5x01 "Weight Loss"

A decent opening, with a slow start. I'm not feeling the Holly character one bit, I actually think she's a huge drag and hopefully she won't stick.
But what i'm hating the most is the Bernard/Angela/Dwight triangle. It doesn't work, Angela cheating with Dwight... no. I liked their relationship in the earlier seasons, when it was all awkward and stuff. But now... I hate it.
On the plus side, Jim & Pam are still the cutest things ever. SPOILER - I did not expect him to prupose. It was probably the cutest scene they've had together and really the highlight of the episode.
But it did have it's funny moments. Michael is still a jerk, Ryan is still a dick, Dwight & Kelly are still mentally challanged. I liked it a lot. Hopefully it will be better than last Season.
    Rating: B+

    Music List: 160-141

    160: "Loose Yourself" - Eminem

I'm not a big fan of Rap, but I love Eminem. He has those really funny songs, and also those powerful songs where he sings about his life. This is definitely one of those.
Quote: A normal life is boring, but superstardom's close to post mortem.

159: "The Roof Is On Fire" - Bloodhound Gang

The funniest song on the list, the video is very random as is the band. Crazyness!
Quote: Yeah I'm hung like planet Pluto hard to see with the naked eye.

    158: "Pyramid Song" - Radiohead

Eh,,, the video is very weird. Even for me. It would be higher otherwise, but the song is just so powerful. It's probably my favorite song of theirs. Did I mention that it's powerful?
Quote: We all went to heaven in a little row boat, there was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt.

    157: "Like A Prayer" - Madonna

Madonna's second time on the list. Well this song is obviously about oral sex (right?) the video is great, with the burning crosses and everything. The song legendary.
Quote: I'm down on my knees, I wanna take you there.

156: "Ready Or Not" - Fugees

Fugees second and last time on the list. This song is really cool, with the Enya music in the background. And the entire band sings togetha.
Quote: I play my enemies like a game of chess, where I rest, No stress.

155: "Until It Sleeps" - Metallica

A very frustrating song, I love songs that can make me feel frustrated. And the video is easily one of my favorite ones. It's sexy, creepy, evil-ish. Love it.
Quote: And the dirt still stains me, so wash me until I'm clean.

    154: "Evil" - Interpol

Interpol have really weird music and music videos. This one is probably the weirdest, and it reminds me of Angel's 'Smile Time'. Cuteness!
Quote: Lay some grease inside my hand. It's a sentimental jury, and the makings of a good plan.

    153: "Just A Girl" - No Doubt

No Doubt was one of my favorite bands back in the 90's. I loved rocky Gwen Stefani, she was insane. I love this song, know it by heart actually.
Quote: I'm just a girl, all pretty and petite so don't let me have any rights.

    152: "Overcome" - Live

A lot of songs came out after Sep 11. But this was my favorite by far. It's powerful and very sad, love the video as well.
Quote: Even now the world is bleedin' but feelin' just fine all numb.

151: "Viva Forever" - Spice Girls

Yeah, yeah. I used to be a big fan and still like some of their songs. This one still means a lot to me. It reminds me of my dog, who I miss him a lot. Beautiful song, weird-ass video.
Quote: Promises made, every memory saved has reflections in my mind.

150: "You Oughta Know" - Alanis Morissette

Alanis' second time on the list. I love the honesty of this song, and the vintage-feel of the video. Kick-ass song.
Quote: It was a slap in the face how quickly I was replaced. Are you thinking of me when you fck her?.

    149: "Mein Teil" - Rammstein

Rammstein's second appearance on the list. This is definitely their weirdest video, very nazi-like. I like the parts where an angel seems to be giving the dude a blow job. Hah. I looked up the translation and they're frakkin crazy. If the translation is right, they're singing about eating a penis
Quote: Weiche Teile und auch harte stehen auf der Speisekarte.

    148: "Ghost" - Michael Jackson

I love this video, there are longer versions so go look those up. Michael kicks ass no matter what people say.
Quote: They put a knife in my back, shot an arrow in me. Tell me are you the ghost of jealousy?

147: "Goodbye My Lover" - James Blunt

Ah, I absolutely love this guy. His voice is very 'unique' and his music is often pretty depressing. You know I like that. The video is passionate.
Quote: I am a dreamer and when i wake, you can't break my spirit. It's my dreams you take.

146: "How Long, How Come" - Babyface ft Stevie Wonder

One of the first videos I remember watching. It tells a sad tale about a woman who was beaten by her man. I love videos that tell a story. Song is beautiful.
Quote: She tried to give a cry for help. She even blamed things on herself, but no one came to her aid.

    145: "Pink" - Aerosmith

Ah, Aerosmith once again. I love this video, it's so much fun. It makes me feel high.
Quote: Pink gets me high as a kite.

144: "Only Happy When It Rains" - Garbage

Garbage's second appearance. I love the lyrics, it's funny. Their videos are always sexy, somehow.
Quote: Pour your misery down on me.

143: "My Favorite Game" - The Cardigans

I'm not a big fan of them, but this song kicks so much assss. The car stunts are badass, poor Felix the Cat though. I'm probably gonna do something like this once I get my own car.
Quote: I had a vision I could turn you right, a stupid mission and a lethal fight.

    142: "Clint Eastwood" - Gorillaz

Badass song, I love the Gorillaz. An animated band you say? I'm not crazy about the dance-theme they took. But I loved them when they were creepy/rock-ish. Video pwns.
Quote: Lifeless. To know the definition for what life is.

    141: "Insomnia" - Faithless

Okay, these peeps are creepy-ass motherfraggers. I love the video, it's creepy. And I love the beat, totally kick-ass. It owns..
Quote: I only smoke weed when I need to.

    To be continued...

    That's all for now, kids.

    Mine

I didn't really have the time to blog last weekend because of a homework-overdosis.

But I can now -- and damn what was the tv.com staff thinking?
I mean, I get it, they tried to make it look 'pretty', and failed. Please change it back?
The new tv.com isn't user-friendly, although the design is not bad. I can see how someone would find it utterly confusing.
Even I had to find my way through this thing at first.

    Anyway, enough about that.
Did anyone follow the Emmy's? I didn't, but I was satisfied with the nominations. And the winners.
Only one I am really disappointed about was Ellen Brustyn, that woman needs a freggin' Emmy.
Mad Men won best show, how could I NOT be happy? I wanted Dexter to win. but Mad Men and Lost were also fine.

Comedy-noms were all pretty predictable. But I really do wish Mary-Louise Parker had won =[.
Battlestar Galactica won best special effects for He That Believeth In Me, whoo! I hope they'll win more stuff next year.

    Weeds Season 4

    This show has gone hardcore!
While It had the worst storylines of the show so far (mainly Doug, Andy, Shane and Celia's) it also had my FAVORITE storyline so far. Which was the whole Nancy-Estebam-Guillermo thing. I really enjoyed the darkness of the season, I never expected this show to go as far as having a young boy masturbate over naked pictures of his mom. Or even that torture scene was very unexpected.
Season 5 cannot come fast enough for me, and i'm so glad that they kept Esteban alive. And that they brought Quinn is back! Whoo.
    Season finale: A
    Overall Season: B

    True Blood: 1x03 "Mine"

I liked it less than the previous two, but it was still pretty entertaining.
I am already disliking Sookie, she gets on my nerves. I did like the scenes where she was touching her private parts, those were nice.
The show has a lot of sex, even for HBO. I am enjoying it. My favorite scene was Jason dancing in his underwear with a mask and a hard-on.
Other than that, it was basically a character-heavy episode. Which would have worked better if the acting had not been so... average.
It's definitely a shame that we have to say goodbye to the hottest actress from the cast. Damn, she was fine. R.I.P. Dawn.
    Grade: B

    Top 100 Characters

That's it dude, The Final Five! Hope you liked the list.

For an overview, read the complete thing Here

    005. Justin Crow (Carnivale)

What got me really hooked in the first place. an evil priest, that doesn't know he's evil? Even with only two Seasons, I don't think that there has ever been a creepier and better-played villain. It pains me to know that we might never find out his true potential. I'm still hoping for a mini-series or even some comics just for another Ben/Justin show-down.
Quote: I'm reminded of the phrase "making a deal with the devil".
    WATCH: Brother Justin

    004. Fox Mulder (The X-Files)

Ah, Fox. Fox was the heart of tv back in the 90's. I could always identify with him, as the obsessed little bugger. He was the guy that made 'losers' look good. Well done, Fox. Well done.
Quote: They told me that even though my deodorant is made for a woman, it's strong enough for a man.
    WATCH: You Sexy Thing

    003. Kara "Starbuck" Thrace (Battlestar Galactica)

Ah, a chick that could kick any dude's ass. And look very good while doing that. Starbuck is just tv's most ass-kicking female of all time. She's a total rebel. She's sex on legs. And she's definitely the most intriguing part of BSG. And i'm not even into blondes.
Quote: You know, everyone I know is fighting to get back what they had. I'm fighting because I don't know how to do anything else.
    WATCH: Starbuck 101

    002. Benjamin Linus (Lost)

This guy just, I love this guy. Michael Emmerson can be both humorous and creepy at the same time. He has evolved as a character over the last three years, while he wasn't even supposed to survive Season 2 but the writers enjoyed writing his character so much that they have practically made him what makes Lost -- Lost. Can you even begin to imagine the show without him nowadays? I just cannot wait to see how the Ben/Charles war will end.
Quote: Destiny is a fickle btch!
    WATCH: Hero Or Villain?

    001. Wesley Wyndam-Pryce (Angel)

Okay, I am just as shocked as you are. When I started this list, I knew he'd be in the top 5. But I was actually planning to put either Ben or Mulder as #1. But once I had to arrange the top 5, I realized that I loved Wes more than any other character. His character has basically become a legend by now. He started as this fun, goofy, loser-person. he was always fun, but never really grasped my attention until he became the boss of the fang-gang. He evolved so much ever since, he got almost killed and then abandoned by his friends. He slept with the enemy and became this rough-ass-frakker. I loved the way he handled his guns, pretty much. And then he lost the love of his life. All that character development was just -- amazing. And now he's a W&H Ghost in the comics, and still doesn't stop amazing me. How Alexis Denisof isn't a superstar by now goes beyond my understanding.
Quote: I've been unreasonable because I've lost all reason.
    WATCH: Suicide Note

    Top 200 Music Videos: 180-161

(Click on the foto's to watch them)

    180: "Gangster's Paradise" - Coolio

Don't expect a lot of rap, but this one is just unmissable. The song is brilliant and it's very nice to see Michelle Pfeiffer in the video.
Quote: I ain't never crossed a man that didn't deserve it.

    179: "Hey Ya!" - Outkast

Ah, this song is just so addictive. Outkast is great, this video made history.
Quote: Shake it like a Poloroid Picture.

178: "So Pure" - Alanis Morisette

The video is so much fun, with all the different dance ****. Song is just as fun.
Quote: Let's grease the wheel over tea.

177: "Here It Goes Again" - Ok Go!

The music video is SO epic, and probably the cheapest one on my list. Great song, too.
Quote: It starts out easy, something simple, something sleazy, something inching past the edge of the reserve.

176: "Rock Me Amadeus" - Falco

What was I thinking!? I know, this song is way trashy. But I love it for some reason. Rock me Amadeus! I wonder what the German dude even sings about, probably nothing involving rocket science.
    Quote: Amadeus Amadeus, Amadeus.

    175: "Drive" - Incubus

I love Incubus but I have no idea why I chose this song as their only one on my list. It's not my favorite song, but something about it makes me feel so peaceful. I love it because of that, and the video is really nicely done.
Quote: Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there.

174: "Seven Nation Army" - The White Stripes

Another epic endless music video that goes into a constant loop. Great song, I love-love the drum sounds. Blissful!
Quote: The stains coming from my blood tell me go back home.

173: "The Kids Aren't Allright" - The Offspring

I love this video and I love this song. Lyrics are very angsty but great.
Quote: What the hell is going on? The cruelest dream, reality.

    172: "Rosenrot" - Rammstein

Oh, I absolutely love Rammstein for their creepy, dark nazi-ish music. I hardly understand anything of what they're singing about. But my brain sure seems to be pleased listening to their music. The video? My mom called it Satanic. I love it!
Quote: Sie will es und so ist es fein, So war es und so wird es immer sein.

171: "Killing Me Softly" - Fugees

I don't really care for the music video, but the song is really beautiful. I wonder what the hell happened to these people? They were effing talented.
Quote: I prayed that he would finish, but he just kept right on strumming my pain with his fingers.

170: "Blurry" - Puddle Of Mud

Another video I don't really care about, but I love the song. The lyrics is truly beautiful.
Quote: You could be my someone, you could be my scene. You know that i'll protect you, from all of the obscene.

169: "La Camisa Negra" - Juanes

I love Juanes, and they finally broke through all over the world thanks to this song. Catchy, fun, original. Juanes rulez.
Quote: Que maldita mala suerte la mia por beber del veneno malevo de tu amor.

    168: "Fascination" - Alphabeat

One of my favorite songs in a LONG time. It's so cute, adorable, original with a wonderful 80's-feel and they still manage to feel fresh and fun. I am in love with them.
Quote: The word is on your lips, say the word.

167: "In The Air Tonight" - Phil Collins

Not exactly a song i'd listen on a regular basis, It's kind of depressing and moody. But also quite beautiful.
Quote: If you told me you were drowning, I would not lend a hand.

166: "Read My Mind" - The Killers

You know, I wasn't a fan of the Killers until Liv & Angel kind of reformed me. I kinda love them now, they make fantastic music but not so-great music videos. This one however, is good. And the song is frakking awesome.
Quote: Oh well I don't mind, if you don't mind. 'Cause I don't shine if you don't shine.

165: "Under The Bridge" - The Red Hot Chili Peppers

I actually heard the All Saints cover before the original and fell in love with it. It was one of my favorite songs for a long time until I became a big Chili Peppers fan. I love both now, but nothing can beat the original. Kick-ass!
Quote: Under the bridge downtown is where I drew some blood

    164: "No More I Love You's" - Annie Lennox

Annie is amazing, and this is definitely one of her best songs. It's cute, fun, and I absolutely love her facial expressions. She is beautiful and unique.
Quote: I used to be lunatic from the gracious days.

    163: "Nobody's Home" - Avril Lavigne

I know what you're thinking, "Eeeeeeew Avril Lavigne!!!111". I kind of agree, I dind't like her Sk8ter Boy-phase and hate her Girlfriend-phase. But I really liked her second album, and this song was by far the best one. Music Video? She looks hot as a homeless person. She should dress-up like a homeless person all the time.
Quote: You've been rejected, and now you can't find what you left behind..

    162: "Lovesong" - The Cure

Speaking of homeless people. This guy looks like he needs a bath, and I love it. I love The Cure. This song kicks-ass.
Quote: Whenever I'm alone with you, You make me feel like I am whole again .

    161: "Supreme" - Robbie Williams

Ehhhh, I am definitely not a Robbie fan. I actually dislike the monkey. But he does have his great songs, and this is by far my favorite. The video is fun, but the song is bloody wonderful.
Quote: All the best women are married. All the handsome men are gay .

    to be continued....

Oh my, Angel's newest entry was excellent! Cordy came back and although the artwork was not so great, the dialog made up for it entirely.
I didn't think i'd say this, but that was the best Angel comic by far. And i've been enjoying them a lot.
    Go Read It Here!

Also read Buffy's latest comic, which was okay. Click here to read that one

    Well, Peace out!
