  Yoshi and the Side-kick Contest

  Yoshi is a great character and possibly the best side-kick ever. Getting directly to the point, Yoshi actually saved Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Peach, and even Donkey Kong when they were all babies. He saved them all before they even grew up and had the ability to fend for themselves. I think we can all say, without Yoshi, they wouldn't even be who they are today.
  
  Vote for Yoshi! He has been a great side-kick for almost everyone! And he in no way made a game fall out of balance but only improved the amount of fun in it.
