Sir-Marth's Magical World of Over the Top Happyness!!

Mega Man ZX

I want it badly.
This continent, by which I mean Europe, doesn't have it after half a year and sucks so hard.

The worst part is that when we get it, everything on the box and manual will be lame and cheesy. The art will be a image of one of the characters with an orange background and lines coming out of them - like every other Mega Man game in the country...

The blurb and manual will have 'H3Y PALZ X AND ZER0 NEED YOUR HELP TO STOP THE EVIL ORGINISATION AND SAVE CYBERSPACE! MEGA POWAH!!!!" including all those typos, there are always typos.

The Mega Man X8 box proves it. On the left is the PAL, the right is NTSC.

(From the back)
SAVE HUMANITY! MEGAMAN (mis-spelled) AND HIS PALS NEED YOU!!!

  • Megaman needs all your skills to tackle the nine gigantic stages!!!
  • Collect metal points to boost Megaman's powers!!!
  • Battle killer robots and gigantic boxes!!!
  • Choose two heroes each stage!!!

Also, the manual refers to Zero as his "new, gutsy friend." Que the fudge?

I hate the way Capcom Europe shaft the franchise over here.
THIS proves other people agree with the way I feel. http://www.petitiononline.com/MMPAL/petition.html

Sign it for great justice! Mega Man and his pals need you, friend!

Mega Man Zero

So I began my first full run of Mega Man Zero yesterday, aiming to S-rank each stage in a fit of masochism. Needless to say the bosses seem hard at first, but they're predictable and once you know the pattern you can't lose.

So far I've done the Intro Stage and the Garbage Facility stage that follows and recorded them both, so check them out and tell me which mission I should take next.

  •  Destroy train.
  •  Find shuttle.
  •  Retrieve data.

Dear Diary...

I had my English exams today, followed by computing tomorrow. I also kicked Colins ass at Gears. Although he wont accept it. Also, I bumped into Billy at school today... he's so dreamy...

Naruto Battle Arena: Sasuke

_______________________________________________

The character I play as the most, if not exclusively is Sasuke. He owns. There are actually two different ways to play as him.

The first is to be a chakra whore. Keep punching the enemy into submission until you have 3 Powerbars - enough to do Chidori. This will take about 3/4 of their life. You can now, rinse and repeat the above or just use Shi-Shi Rendan or Housenka no Jutsu to end it. This will work perfectly on the easier difficulties (1 - 5) it should also be used on Sakura under any difficulty.

The second method is to play it safe. Fight at the start as in Method 1 - But STOP once you have 1 bar. Then use some long distance techniques such as kunai and Ryuuka no jutsu. A few of these should get you 2 bars. You can then use either single bar abilities to end them. The reason for this is that if you have over one bar, if you are hit and press 'C' you will teleport behind them and attack (Kawarimi jutsu - Body Replacement) at no cost to your chakra. Chidori is not advised. Its cost is too high, ruining your strategy. Use this on stronger opponents and also against other players. My friends hate it. I guess it sucks to be them.

 - Combo list -

I'll be using the game terms, so look at the options menu to see your corresponding button. I personally use my Xbox pad.

The only combo you need for standard attacking is X, X, A, A, A. His longest one. This can be followed up with any of Sasuke's moves. Try Goukakyuu no jutsu, or use Shi-Shi Rendan as they fall, this will let you attack their weak point for massive damage. To do the moves you'll need to know how, well...

Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu = Down Forward, Y - No Chakra : One second charge time.

Katon: Ryuuka No Jutsu = Down Forward, Down Forward, Y - No Charkra Required : 2.5 seconds charge time.

Katon: Housenka No Jutsu = Jump, B - 1 Charkra bar : Instant use.

Shi-Shi Rendan = B - 1 Charkra bar required : Instant use.

Chidori = Hold Down, B - Requires 3 Charkra bars : Instant use.

Cursed Seal Lv2 Chidori = Hold Down, B - 3 Charkra bars : quarter of life left : Instant.

Kawarimi Punch = Press C when hit

Naruto Battle Arena

_______________________________________________

Not many of you will be familiar with the PC Game Naruto Battle Arena (Called NBA from here on out). So I'll try and enlighten you. Basically you play as a character from the Naruto universe and fight against the others in a 2D match. Much like Street Fighter and all the others. You can play in 1 on 1, which is sweet all itself. However, the real draw-in is the Co-Op modes, particularly 2P Survival. Hours of fun or your money back! The game itself can be downloaded from here. And it's free, so you ain't getting your money back.

The second boss, wherein we see just how cheap the metal blade is and may never see blue Mega Man for the rest of the game. Also, my MMX game is on hiatus for the time being.
