Mass Effect
This game does not disappoint, I waited for it through delay after delay and I finally got my hands on it. I beat it yesterday and I immediately wanted to replay it but I'm holding off so I can go and play some other games. It is not to be missed, buy it ASAP if you like RPGs or detailed stories or even third person shooters.- Posted Dec 27, 2007 5:26 pm PT

Shock and Stink
I never would've thought that BOTH Nintendo and MS would've had bad conferences. RE5 was the biggest moment of the 360 conference. Other highlights include false sales information, (Halo did not outsell GT or SSMB) a glitchy demo of Assassian's Creed and an extremely ugly green Halo themed 360. I wasnt excited about the Halo 3 trailer either. And why did all the enemies glow blue in that AC trailer? The AI was bad too, nobody sees a person jump off a building into a cart? The crowd will have bad AI, thats' what always happens. And what was up with the enemies? They all attack you one by one... This is just like PoP, the bridge in SoT was in the first or one of the first trailers for this game. It looks good graphically, but wont play all that well I bet. COD4 looked good graphically too.
Nintendo didnt impress me either. No startling announcements, nothing big. They just kept after the casual gaming crowd. Dont get me wrong, a lot of that stuff will sell. Wii Fit will sell millions. Mario Kart will be pretty good and the Zapper should call for a lot more FPS titles.
Neither show was all that great though. No megatons... However, we havent heard the last from either company, and remember, some of the biggest surprises have some after the conferences... Like SSBB.

And it begins...
The new E3 is here and even though I dont follow games as much as I used to, it should be pretty fun. Hopefully some new RPGs make their way to the 360 and the Wii gets a ton of announced games. SSBB apparently wont be there so Nintendo might unveil some other big title. Bioware might not be there, which will be a shame... They have to say something about Mass Effect sooner or later, right?- Posted Jul 10, 2007 12:25 pm PT

"Disappointing" My two cents on a game that is not quite what it could have been. It fell short on so many levels. Few spoilers. Continue »
