You'll notice that you haven't heard from me in a while now other than a few forum posts. That's because I have the final year of school to get through, stuffed with exams, trials, assessments, and more. Quitely frankly I've sick to the death of it, and I just want it to be over.
I'm aiming to get into jounalism/media/literature for a career, so as you might expect I need to do well. But in all honesty that's difficult when the goals are set so high. And I have a lot of trouble focusing and studying. Then again, after picking a course in which I've needed to do a major work of nearly 10, 000 words in a story, I shouldn't expect it to be easy.
But what really pisses me off is that while I need to do this, I've been neglecting my other writing - ya know the book that I mentioned in a previous blog. I need to get through it - it's been 2 and a half years since I started it, and even though I've done so much work on it, it's still not finished. But that's something I plan to change when this is all over.
I'm also working, and earning plenty of cash, which I spend on stuff I don't have the time to use. In fact I've got a massive back log of movies, books, games and more to get through, but I don't have the time. I bought Uncharted 3 maybe 2 months ago and its still in its plastic wrapping, and yet I'm still buying more games. It's just wrong.
But anyway, enough of that, I'll you what I've been up to recently. First off, I increased my Steam collection by maybe 30 games in the sale...behold:

I've also been reading the following:
I love Game of Thrones as a TV series and book series, but this book is by far better than the Season it's based on, season 2. You have to read and watch 'em all to find out. Don't ask me why. 
My favourite of the three books, and by far the most complex. I've read it already, but I have to read it again. There's something about this novel for me that never grows old....
Anyway, that's it for now. Since the trials are over I might have some more gaming time, and thus I'll be able to post it. Have a good one guys.

@JasonDarksavior Yeah I didn't do well either, but I did great in all my English subjects, and pretty crap in everything else.

1 Like I did the HSC last year, honestly, trials are harder than the actual thing and I didn't get a mark for Uni, so it didn't bother me that much. Good luck though, it's a stressful time. Just remember to relax and have time for yourself :)
