  Metal Gear Saga Vol. 1

  
  I was quite happy today to finally have a copy of Metal Gear Saga Vol. 1 in my hands. This was a bonus DVD that was available if you decided to pre-order either the Regular version or the Limited Edition version of the highly anticipated, Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence. I only viewed the contents on the disc just a couple of hours ago, and I must say that it was quite worth pre-ordering Subsistence for. Then again, the dang thing was free, but I would have gladly payed a good ten or fifteen dollars to have one in my possession.
  
  To begin with, the DVD is basically a documentary with commentary from director of the Metal Gear series, Hideo Kojima himself. It features a chronological documentation which explains the events of each game in the series, and how they tie together. Not too much was actually revealed on the DVD, but a couple of surprises did catch me off-guard, I will admit.
  
  The DVD documentary of the series runs for about roughly thirty to thirty-five minutes, with each game being explained in a session of seven to ten minutes each. The DVD also included some extra bonuses, such as the various official trailers of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, and Metal Gear AC!D 2 in HD, that have been released up to this point in time.
  
  It was quite interesting seeing a live interview with Hideo Kojima, as fans have no seen a recent one since E3 of last year. Kojima didn't reveal too much about the past titles, besides how he started the Metal Gear series, the original setting for Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and the original idea of how he wanted to portray The Boss, one of the primary characters from 2004's, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Other than that, there were just some interesting little tidbits here and there.
  
  Some specific commentary from Kojima that caught my eye was how he stated that he was going to explain everything about the events of MGS2 in MGS4, as he said he would do with MGS3, but didn't really succeed in that plan. Then again, Kojima never actually said that he was going to explain Olga's child, Vamp's immortality, Liquid's arm possessing Ocelot, or about The Patriots in MGS3, as he said in the Saga DVD that he would do this in MGS4.
  
  This documentary has definitely got me much more psyched up for MGS4. Primarily because one of the main reasons I want to play the upcoming title is to see if Kojima will explain all the plot holes that were left over for speculation. He confirmed that he will do all of this with MGS4, and he has never lied to us about anything. At least not anything on this big of a scale with the story.
  
  Anyways, here's hoping that the trailer at E3 this year will provided us with some more insight on either the gameplay aspect of MGS4, the story, or both!

  Bleach

  Just started watching this really interesting new Anime last week, which is known as Bleach. A glance at the title, and some may already think it either sucks or is not worth checking out. A couple of my friends been telling me to check it out for a while, but I thought the same thing, that it was just an average Anime that wasn't worth looking into. Maaann, was I ever wrong. I have to admit, most people will probably give up on it after watching the first 10 to 15 episodes, since it lacks a bit in the action department, which seemed to have been saved for later in the series, but the comical scenes were plenty enough to keep viewing. ^_^

  Kurosaki Ichigo looks just like any average 15 year old teenager with only one big difference; he can see ghosts/spirits. Rukia Kuchiki, a Shinigami (Soul Reaper) is out on a mission to find an evil spirit called a Hollow. The Hollow’s target is none other than Ichigo. Rukia and Ichigo confront each other for the first time. Ichigo’s family gets endangered by the Hollow and the only way to stop it was for Rukia, who was injured, to transfer her Shinigami powers to Ichigo who had a strong spiritual force. The concurrence of Rukia and Ichigo leads to many adventures, with a lot of humor along the way. Ichigo helps Rukia fight off Hollows and keep the town safe. The story continues with many twists and turns with action, adventure and comedy.

  This one definitely deserves checking out for any Anime fan out there. Better hurry, there have been 62 Anime episodes released so far, which ended bringing an end to the current arc the Anime was on, but with all the plot twists, the final few episodes just brought on another crazy new arc of episodes. Even if you don't enjoy Anime, this might be a fun one for you to start off no.

  Music = Life.

  Can anyone honestly look me in the eye and... well, tell me that they can live without music in their lives? If you can, then I suggest you go back under the rock in which you crawled from. For me, after so much exposure to the beautiful sound of music, if it suddenly just disappeared, I think I would just die.
  
  Truth to tell, I don't really have an particular favorite song genre I just love so much of it, but I can list some of my favorite bands:
  - Linkin' Park
  - Green Day
  - Nickleback
  - Nightwish
  - Disturbed
  - 3 Doors Down
  
  And some more that don't come to mind right now. I basically like any kind of music with the expection of most Oldies and Country songs.
