I'm going to Butthole Surfers' concert tomorrow

So, I'm going to leave you for 2 days, System Warriors. I'm going on a long trip tomorrow.

    I live here:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radzy%C5%84_Podlaski

and my destination is located here:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wroclaw

The whole thing will take me around 11 hours, firstly 2 and half hour of bus ride to Warsaw, and then 6 and half hour of train ride to Wroclaw. I have to wait 1 hour and 50 minutes for train in Warsaw, though hence the total of around 11 hours. I'm going to see legendary group, Butthole Surfers. They are around for nearly 28 years. They are a very influential band which deconstructed noise rock, punk rock, hardcore punk, psychedelic music, acid folk, blues, voodoobilly, electronica with experimental ambitions (also borrowing from avant-garde) and at the same time with punkish clumsiness and huge dosage of parody, humour and chaos throughout. They are known for their chaotic and humorous live shows, and I'm hoping to have much fun there. From what I've gathered, I noticed that they play mostly their 80s material from first half of their career, and the half which I respect much much more than the latter one, so I rather know what to expect and I hope I won't be dissapointed.

The second important thing tomorrow is that I'm finally meeting a person very close to me, and of course we're going to see Butthole Surfers together. Well, it's a long and complicated story, and it's not yet determined how it will end. I'll spare the details and other melodramatic stuff, because I have to go to sleep soon. Anyway, we're going to spend some time together, and I booked a hotel room for us there already. I don't feel stressed thinking about this meeting at all. Whatever happens, happens. I'm leaving tomorrow (i.e. Sunday at 7:30 am Central European Time) and I will be back home on Monday at 11:50pm CET. I hope the whole trip will be a success on both fronts, so I can share more of my impressions with you, guys.

Why haven't I decided to play Kameo earlier?

    Kameo

Such a nice game with a clever idea behind it, and with brilliant atmosphere, its charm is so strong that it rivals the best of PS1 days in my book. I feel stupid for once choosing Assassin's Creed over it (a game which I never finished and have no intentions of doing so). How could I be so blind?

Match to watch - Turkey vs. Spain

There will be one hell (pun intended) of a spectacle involved today on Ali Sami Yen stadium in Istanbul in what I can arguably call clash of titans.

Turkey narrowly lost to Spain on away game 0:1 in unlucky circumstances, and is seeking revenge. In my opinion Turkey could have won or at least draw with Turkey, but it haven't because of two reasons, first of all I think Fatih Terim set up attacking line inproperly, secondly, he brought in Ayhan Akman for Semih Senturk (midfielder for attacker), and not long after that Turkey lost a goal, and had shortage of firepower in attacking formation, and after the goal morale went drastically down to the extent nothing could be undone, Turkey was still very competent in the defence and in midfield, it just lacked creative spark in attack, opposed to the first half, when they had 3 very good chances to score. Turkey is missing some of its key players, such as Servet Cetin, Gokhan Zan, Mehmet Topal, and most importantly Bayern Munich's Hamit Altintop, some of very good players aren't even in squad, such as Mehmet Topuz, VFB Stuttgart's Yildiray Basturk, or Ibrahim Toraman, some of them due to their relations with Turkey's manager, Fatih Terim. Still, Turkey possess enough depth in squad, and considerable amount of very capable forwards, including Middlesbrough's Tuncay Sanli, Villarreal's Kahveci Nihat, Fenerbahce's Semih Senturk, Socheaux's Mevlut Erdinc, Trabzonspor's Gokhan Unal, and two young up and coming Turkish superstar forwards, Sercan Yildirim (already tracked by the likes of Manchester United) and Batuhan Karadeniz.

I think with proper choice of forward line, Turkey has a very good chance of beating Spain, Spain will be draw-oriented team this time, as David Villa will be benched (he was non-existent in home game by the way), and Turkey must not blow its chance for 3 points this time, because it really needs it, Bosnia and Herzegovina is one point ahead of Turkey, and every single points counts in the race for Africa.

My score prediction is a narrow win, 1:0 or 2:1 for Turkey.

The match will be on 6:00 PM GMT, 8:00 PM CET, 9:00 PM EET.
