Sorry I haven't been around for a while. *sigh* I've been really preoccupied and thus just haven't had the time. Oh well. ^^' So, how are you guys doing?

As some of you may have noticed, I have not been around here as much as I used to be. I have been busied by many things. Homework, places that I've had to go, and basically "Summer Fever", which was pretty much me wanting to lay down and relax most of the time.

But, also among the things keeping me away from here was all the anime I watched over the summer. Here's a list:

    -Chobits

    -xxxHolic

    -Lucky Star

    -The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

-Akage no Anne (this is just an anime version of the novel "Anne of Green Gables") and BTW, I've only watched the first episode

    -Mermaid Melody

I think that's about it. So, yeah, that's mostly what was keeping me from here. I don't really think anyone's gonna care, so if you do read this, feel free to just go back to your own profile. I just needed to blog...

*sigh* I'm going back to school tomorrow. And already I feel like I'm having problems. For one thing, my backpack is heavier than usual. It's nothing I can't handle, it's just, I wish I didn't have to carry everything. And I already tried to keep the weight lowered, but it isn't going well. Second, I have to wear socks in this heat. I really don't want to, but I have no choice. Anyways, I also found out the first two days are going to be on a 'modified schedule' so now a few of the things that I needed to get done during free period are gonna have to wait. And I still don't know my schedule! Why couldn't they just give it out on registration like last year??????!!!!!!!!!!!

If it sucks already, I fear what is to come next.

*sigh* So my summer vacation is almost over. Thursday of next week I'll be back at school. Today was registration.

    What sucks:

-My hair looks horrible on my new school ID

-I haven't finished my summer homework

-I have no idea what schedule I have

    What rocks:

-My new locker is close to where the bus drops me off in the morning

-I get to go on the bus for free (for the first month anyhow)

-I'm most likely getting the elective I chose, which in my case is art

So, it's basically evened out. As for going back to school, I'm not really dreading it, because I expected it. And my friend will finally shut up about how she wants summer to end quickly because she's been so bored. Grrr...At least she didn't have any summer homework! *sigh* I know that I brought onto myself the fact that it still remains unfinished, but it still feels well...meh...

I guess this was bound to happen sometime soon.

Really, I've been wanting to do this for some time. *sigh* These are my personal thoughts on fanfics, and how they seem to be going down the drain these days.

Well, first of all, back before FFNet existed, it was hard to find fanfics (or so I assume. I dun really know, as I've only gotten my 'hunger' for fanfics recently, if you count about two years recent). But anyways, they were probably harder to find before, because they were hosted on private sites that used HTML programming. As such, chapters were much longer, and the people writing them put a much better effort into it.

But, nowadays, with FFNet, MediaMiner, DevArt and other sources, writing and posting fanfics online has gotten considerably easier. And as such, the quality of fanfics has slightly dropped. Often, you can find stories filled with errors, grammar and punctuation mistakes, text that should be limited to IMs and text messages and general annoyances, such as Mary-Sues and the like.

All in all, it seems that because these new privileges have been given, people have become lazy in keeping up the quality. I mean, do fanfic writers these days have no dignity? If you write something that the whole world may very well see, don't you want it to be the best that you can do? I know that I do.

Case in point, because I don't wanna sound like a prissy know-it-all, I'll tell about myself and my own 'history' in fanfic writing. When I first got started, I had seen a lot of fanfic writers who did those cutesie script thingies at the beginning and end of their stories. I'd also seen some of them doing that "REVIEW OR I'LL DIE!!!!" thing. Naively thinking that that was all it took to be a good fanfic writer, I used those types of things in my fanfics while the story itself seemed to be less-than-qualitable. I finally realized when I was forcing myself to write a new chapter and after receiving some slightly unnerving, but sensible criticism; I really needed to change a lot of things around. So now, I am currently rewriting my still unfinished story, in hopes of making myself and the story not sound like blatant idiocy.

I was able to save myself from making too many mistakes to count. But, I feel like there may be hardly any hope for other fanfic writers who constantly write this literary garbage. I'm sorry if I sound cruel or mean, but it may very well be true. I love fanfiction, but if it continues on like this, I'm beginning to feel like it will be destroyed.

Do you know what a screamer is? Well, in case you don't, let me explain.

Usually, screamers are shown in emails or videos. Usually, the sender will request the person that they've given the message/video to stare at a picture and try to find out what's wrong with it. Well, let me tell you this. There is never anything wrong with the picture. But, usually a person will be curious and go so far as to put their face really close to the screen. Then, just as they do so, a scary picture pops onto the screen accompanied by some scary screaming, hence the name: screamers. These then scare and humiliate the person who has been staring at the screen.

Now, some people will just treat this as a simple and harmless practical joke. But, some of these "simple and harmless practical jokes" are used to damage the computer of the person they are sent to.

Screamers are a type of chain letter as well. Usually, after receiving this type of message, a person will send it to other people as well (if their computer's hard drive hasn't been screwed up by then).

Now, what is the reason that I'm ranting about this? Because I was watching a couple of videos today on Youtube and both had screamers at the end. Now, I sincerely and truthfully wasn't scared by them, but they really surprised me and freaked me out. Now, I can't seem to brush them off.

But, just to give anyone who reads this a warning, hear this. If you ever get an email that requests you to stare at a picture for a little while or find out what's wrong with it or something like that, know that it is most likely a screamer. In videos, sometimes, similar things happen, like the person asks you to figure out something with a picture that they put on the screen. But, it's probably a little harder to figure it out with videos.

I know I must sound pathetic right now, but I have been really annoyed and freaked out and I need to let out my feelings somehow. Please, bare with me.

Well, my day sucked. I wake up in the morning with nothing particular in mind. I just want to spend the day working on my summer english homework and just rest for a little while. But of course, it's probably inevitable (and maybe even my hitsuzen) to never have anything go as I plan.

My mom tells me we need to go to the doctor because apparently she has an appointment. So, my uncle drives us over there (in our car) and then my aunt takes him home. Then, we're waiting in this so-called clinic for an hour and a half. Thankfully, I took a couple books with me to read so that I wouldn't be bored out of my mind. But then, and I'm not sure if everyone has heard, the earthquake happens.

Everyone there is so panicky and they all jump up to get outside and it just so happens that my little seven-year-old sister is giggling because for some strange and unknown reason she finds the renching movement of tectonic plates hilarious. *sigh* I have nothing to do but go back inside and continue reading.

In the time that we spent there, it took forever for the doctor to come in and examine my mom. While we wait, my best friend calls (and by the way, she's not moving to Egypt after all! Yes!) and is excited that the face of the earth has moved. Well, actually, she was just calling to see if I was alright, but I sensed something from her voice.

And then, finally the doctor came in, checked up my mom, and then we went home.

The rest of the day I don't feel like talking about, mainly because I see no point.

Well, my summer has begun. Actually, it started...I dunno, three weeks ago? Anyways, nothing has happened...This summer has started off a bit dully and I really hope it gets better, but, I guess there's no way of that happening. And the reason is because my parents are busy, all my friends are who-knows-where, and my best friend is moving away to Egypt(well, it's still undecided).

*sigh* I dun feel good right now.

Yet another connection I've made between WITCH and Sailor Moon. One that isn't so obvious. Did anyone ever notice how Matt's song, "The Demon in Me" matches the story of Sailor Galaxia?

The song was mainly about how Shagon had taken over Matt's body and Matt was fighting back trying to take control and was eventually guided out by Will.

Now think, Galaxia sealed Chaos inside her body and Chaos overwhelmed her and took over. Eventually, Usagi was able to eradicate Chaos from Galaxia's body. Sound familiar?

Yeah, I know it's kinda corny, but it is true.

Ergh, the thing won't let me put pictures on here! Grr...

Yes, I do. We're learning that stupid subject in my computer skills class and we've been doing for too long. I've gotten sick of it! And worse, I've got a test for it tomorrow and I don't think I'm prepared. There's just one thing I don't know, which is how to do tables...and My stupid teacher is gonna make us use a table...

When will the torture that is HTML end????????????????? I'm tired of spending all of that time on the computer typing stupid codes.

    Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I'm very unhappy right now.

I have been nearly traumatized...How you ask? I just saw a Youtube video that took the opening of PGSM and put it with the *gulp* stupid Americanized opening video for the Sailor Moon created by Saban or ToonMakers or whatever.

Oh god I hate it so much! Not the PGSM opening, but the idea that ToonMakers had for Sailor Moon. I'm pretty sure a lot of people know about it already, but for me, it's ranting time.

Why did they have to go and take away the distinctive hairstyles for the senshi? All of their sailors had shortish hair that was never in a distictive style that individualized each of them. And what's wrong with having bows on the outfits? Yeah, they took away the bows that were originally on the sailor fuku. Was it really necessary? And I'm pretty sure they mucked up the plot too. I didn't see Queen Beryl or the generals. Just a bunch of monsters that would probably try and replace the youma. Grr...It didn't need to be Americanized! I can't believe I'm saying this but, thank God for DiC!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I'm at level nine today. I'm happy. But the weird thing is, all of a sudden, I'm at 50%! How is that possible? I was barely at level 8 (98%) yesterday. Man, this site is weird...

New blog in such a long while! *sigh*

Anyways, I was thinking about the opening for the fifth season of Sailor Moon, "The Sailor Star Song", and I realized how much it matches with the second season of WITCH.

The first part: Ever since you disappeared, I've been searching for you. (anata ga kieta sono toki kara, sagashi tsuzukeru tabi ga hajimatta)

Doesn't that sort of reflect the fact that Will thought something happened to Matt and tried to search for him? I think it does.

The rest of the song seems to say Don't Give Up! (Makenai!) and to look into the future and such, which seemed to reflect those episodes where the guardians read the fortune cookie and it has that cryptic message that seems to concern them and the episode where before the final battle Hay Lin paints an image of her 'xanadu' and is talking about how there's a new hope every sunrise.

This is just a ramble of my strange thoughts and being one of those devoted WITCH/SM fans, but I don't know, it could be possible.

Today, every time I turn on my computer, some strange buzzing noise comes out of the hard drive. I have to keep hitting it to make it stop. It's driving me insane!

I can't tell my uncle, or he's gonna get mad and say I did it. I didn't do a thing! I just want it to stop.

Anyone who knows anything about this, please help me out...

Just the other day at school, I had, let's say a project that I sort of used Sailor Moon with. A girl who sits next to me saw it and said: Sailor Moon? It's so childish. She didn't even back it up or say why!

Sailor Moon is not childish. You can say that about the crappy dub, but don't try that with the original. It deals with death, war, and a lot of other things related to real life. So I won't stand to hear that!

All other people who sawthe project(including some boys) were all like: cool. So I don't know where she got it from.
