Has Cartoon Network learned their lesson?

As you may or may not be aware, Cartoon Network has announced earlier this year that they would like to concentrate on more live action shows, starting with "CN Real", which showed a few hours of their own live action shows. They also canceled Toonami which angered pretty much everyone (I didn't watch it for I'm not a fan of anime).

Everyone called it from the very beginning that this was a horrible idea. Why shouldn't they think this? CN already had two live action shows, the hated "Out of Jimmy's Head" and "Goosebumps". As far as I'm concerned, both shows were massive failures and were canceled very quick. How did they respond to this? Create MORE live action shows.

Now, I don't seem to hear from CN Real at all anymore and I've also noticed that they brought back some old cartoons as well. For instance, Looney Tunes is back (awesome ) and so is The Pink Panther. Also, Johnny Bravo appears to be back too.

Hopefully this means that CN Real is failing and they will bring back even more older cartoons (Chowder and Flapjack can stay).

Modern Warfare 2 review (and CoD Classic impressions)

    http://www.vgboxart.com/boxes/360/29538_modern_warfare_2.jpg

Well, I finally got around to writing my review of Modern Warfare 2 as I have beaten it twice and spent a ton of time in multiplayer and spec. ops. All I can say is this game is awesome. It doesn't bring too much new to the table but it's still a great game and one of the best games of this year. The twists throughout the campaign are cool too.

You can check out my full review by scrolling down or clicking here.

Since I got the Hardened Edition of MW2, I was also given a code for Call of Duty Cla$$ic on XBLA.

I have been a fan of the series since Call of Duty 2 but I never once even played the original til now. This game came out in 2003 and so far, it's pretty cool. The game itself reminds me more of Medal of Honor for the Playstation than it does Call of Duty (then again, it was made by some of the same developers).

This game gives a whole different feeling than the later games, and it feels great. First of all, there is no regenerating health, just a health bar so you want to be a lot more careful not to get hit. Also, there's no grenade indicator so you also must keep a more watchful eye out this time. One cool feature I've noticed that's not in the later games in you can lean outside of cover. I wonder why the other games didn't use this.

Overall, this is WW2 FPS at its finest and has aged very well. The campaign is a lot of fun, even the car chase levels, and it's cool to see how the series started. It's too bad Gamespot doesn't allow me to add this game to my collection, give a rating or write a review yet but I'd give it somewhere between an 8.5 and a 9 so far.

I guess that's all for now, see ya later.
