  Evanescence tribute

                                  The Open Door

  They rose to fame with their monster debut "Fallen" which has went on to sell over 15 million copies worldwide. After the departure of Ben Moody, many thought that lead singer Amy Lee was just a pretty face and his shadow. After more than 3 year since Fallen's release the band are back, minis Moody and this time better than ever!

   The Open Door

   After buying the album last week i was so excited at to what they have to offer us. Amy Lee has giving us an amazing stepup and such an amazing followup to Fallen. The stunning guitar work and the operatic metal makes the album all the more flawless. The style in music is much more vibrant and darker, unlike Fallen which screams suicide and depression, The Open door is more about not being afraid anymore and taking control. Amy did state in interviews that she now free to do what she wants without Ben controling her but thats not my place to speak about. I must say, Ben Moody leaving the band is the best thing that could have happened to them.

  All in all i give the album a 10/10. Perfect!

  My favourite songs so far are:

  Lacrymosa : A wonderfull cover of mozartz Lacrimosa! Stunning from start to finish.

  Like You

  Lithium

  Snow White Queen

  Sweet Sacrifice

  Cloud Nine

  All the songs are amazing but i must say the lyrics and songs are a lot more disturbing than Fallens. "Snow White Queen" gives you the feeling that she is being raped but she is actualy being stalked and expressing her fears and the dark and haunting "Like You" is realy distrubing. The line "I long to be like you, sis. Lie cold in the ground like you, Death. Theres room inside for two." gave me chills.

  The returning

                              The darkness within me

  I've not been comming to tv.com alot because of that i dont watch tv anymore and nothing holds my interest here. Anyway i have decided to give my profile a slight makeover and update my blog a bit more frequently. Anyway i'm going to be running a dark theme around my blog.

  Ive noticed also that ive changed alot, my mood is more darker and i am begining to write realy dark and morbid songs but i think there brilliant! I'm more into goth and rock music along with epic and symphonic metal. I'm not a goth just incase you think i am although there is nothing wrong with being a goth, just not for me.

  Anyway thats all for me. Tata, Robster ....
