  College

  Here it is. My first year of college. I'm completely settled in now and am currently rooming with one of my old friends. I managed to obtain all of the courses that I wanted and have achieved several scholarships to help me along the way. The only really disappointing part is having to say goodbye to summer, but even that will return. I'll blog with more details of my newfound college life later.

  Large Collection; No Real Meaning

  For anyone who's taken a look into my collection list you've probably noticed that my game count has now exceeded 270 titles. Ironically though, I never really seem to play games that much. I just like to collect them. Think of it kind of like a really big stamp collection only one hundred times cooler. Some of the games are still unopened. Sure, I'll probably get around to playing them all; but for now life's just too busy.

  You've may have also noticed that whenever I log on I seem to add a bunch of titles. That's because I do a lot of my game shopping online (new or used). Let's face it, a lot of good titles just aren't out on the shelves anymore do to the new systems coming out (i.e. PS3, Wii, Xbox 360). These systems are good and all, but that also means it gives the classics less time to shine.

  Lastly, I work hard for my games. I'm just your average ordinary honor student who just got lucky enough to have two really high paying (and fun) jobs. So please don't assume me to be one of those types that are shut in their basement for hours on end eating potato chips just because I have a lot of games. I hate it when people assume and stereotype like that. I'm out more often then people who DON'T spend there time gaming. What does that tell you?

  Anyway, sorry for another rant. I just wanted to clear that little fact up as people have been bugging me about it for a while.

  Time Goes On

  Several months have gone by and things are finally returning to normal. I've been accepted by multiple colleges (though I've decided to stay close to home for my fist few years) and have a couple of steady jobs with good incomes. Not bad in my opinion.

  Sis is returning to normal, though I'm beginning to wonder if she'll ever really enjoy gaming again. I've gotten her to play with me, but it's not hard to tell that there's really no enthusiasm behind it. Oh, well. Reading a book a day is good too. I think... (though we are rapidly running out of books).

  Well I guess that's really all in my life to date. I'll try to find something more interesting to write about if I can next time.
