    Let's be Honest.

It's stupid. You know it's stupid, I know it's stupid, I'm guessing the guy who got fired pretty much knows it's stupid. Let's be honest. Do I agree with him on everything? No. Do I THINK that he's the greatest reviewer alive? No. Are there games which he's panned which I think deserved a higher score? Yes. What do I think about him being fired? Complete B.S.

You are a gaming NEWS site. If your advertisers are butthurt over a game review, THEY should have made a better game. Tons of other sites are giving the game the same marks. If you don't like it? Too bad, you should have made a better product.

Sega at one point sponsored the main page almost as much as the current agency has with K&L, only they did it with Shadow The Hedgehog. We know how that game turned out. We know how it wasn't up to standards. and We KNOW that NOBODY got fired over it. This isn't Gamespots fault, it's CNET's, and I think every user has an obligation to make that clear. You've accomplished not only one of the most underhanded tactics known to journalism, but made one of the most STUPID bussiness decisions possible. Jesus people-- If YOU FIRE A GUY FROM YOUR NEWS SITE FOR GIVING A GAME A BAD REVIEW, JUST BECAUSE THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE IT PAY YOU... DOESN'T GIVE YOUR NEWS SITE A WHOLE LOT OF INTEGRITY-- DOES IT?!

You should be smarter. Editors like Alex Navarro, Ryan Davis, and Jeff used to be the people I looked for with reviews. You just shot yourself in the foot guys. Come on... you should be smarter than that. What are you thinking Cnet? What are you thinking?

Because all the 8.8's and 6.0's in the world couldn't justify a damn thing you just did. And the worst of it is... I've lost trust in the site I've trusted most.
