  New Blog?!?

  Yes, I know... it certainly has been quite a while since I have posted a new blog update. This is simply due to the fact that I have been a bit preoccupied with a whole bunch of other things as of late, although I do plan on coming here as often as I can from now on. I obviously wont go into full details about every single thing that has happened since the last time I posted, but I will point out a few of the more major events which took place. I bought myself a Wii. Other than that undeniably huge landmark event of my life, nothing else is really worth noting. But all joking aside... I honestly did have a lot of fun over the holidays which I mostly spent with my family. Suffice to say, the Wii was actually a pretty big hit with the members of my family that decided to try it out for themselves whenever I brought it along with me. They had a blast playing the Wii Sports games, and the whole Mii channel thing certainly gave us a few good laughs while we were creating our own characters. My Uncle actually liked the system so much after he initially played with it that he began looking everywhere for his own, although he has yet to find one for himself. Sure this all may sound somewhat "sappy," for lack of a better word... but I am honestly glad to be closer with my family after both my dad and grandpa passed away last year. It really has helped out a lot, and I'm hoping that this year turns out to be better than the previous one.
  
  On a more lighter note, like I mentioned before, I plan on updating this thing much more frequently from here on out. And no... more frequently does not mean 3 months in between each update rather than 4. So now you can all sleep more soundly because I just know how lost everyone was without me and my stories.

  Level 21... Finally

  Well, this certainly has been a long time coming... but I am finally done with the dreaded level 20! If I remember correctly, I believe that I first reached it back in either late June or early July so it basically took me around two months just to be done with it. Now, I'm usually not one to care all that much for levels and whatnot but for some reason I wanted to simply get the previous one over with and just move on. It's nothing really life-changing or anything... but at least it made me happy. And while you are here, you may also notice that I have received a few more badges (or emblems... whatever you kids call them these days). The most recent additions would be the two voting ones and the "Public Access" badge for uploading a few videos here on Gamespot. I plan on uploading many more within the coming days, so be sure to check back here every now and then if you are interested.
  
  Oh... and on a side note, there is a little Fight Club reference somewhere within my blog and I was wondering if any of you noticed it. For those of you who have not seen the movie, what are you waiting for?! And for those of you who have seen the movie and did catch it,  I heart you.

  Today is the Big Day...

  Yes, my good friends... the wait is finally over. Today is the day which you have all been waiting patiently for. Today is....
  
  
  MY BIRTHDAY!
  
  Not only that, but this day also marks the monumental beginning of my own personal blog. I have been debating for a while whether I should start one on here or not, but in the end I thought that I would at least give it a try and see what happens from there. But anyways, like I mentioned before... today is my birthday! My 17th birthday, to be exact. And no, I don't have anything really "special" planned to celebrate it, although I will obviously spend it with some of my family as I usually do.
  
  
  But that is not the only exciting event taking place today. Nintendo has recently held a press conference here in the US, which took place after the one hosted in Japan. And it looks like the information we have all been waiting so long for has finally arrived. It has been revealed that Nintendo's Wii console will be arriving on November 19th with a price point of $250. I personally wasn't as surprised as some people were about the cost of the system. Sure I was thinking that it would be somewhat less than the price announced, but when you sit and think about what you are actually getting for that price it really isn't an excessive amount of money at all. All of this information has made me pretty ecstatic today, and it looks as if I will have to start saving up some money pretty soon...
