7Mar 08Just letting you guys know that i'll be making a new account this weekend. I dislike this name quite a bit, so i'll be making a new account with a name that I like better (like my new XBL gamertag). It will be Bloodbath_87 or something like it since i'm sure Bloodbath is taken.
I'll also be making new accounts on Achieve 360 Points, IGN, Team Xbox, Wikipedia, Xbox 360 Achievements, Youtube, and since making a new account here makes an account for all CNET sites, TV.com and Game FAQs will also have a new account. My email will be new as well.
It will take a lot of time, but it will be worth it, and i'm absolutely certain that this will be my last name on the net, forever. The only things i'm not looking forward to are adding all my games back into my collection here and on IGN (should take about an hour and a half together) and adding my pictures back on here (should take at least an hour, including naming them and all that **** Thankfully for my game collections i'll have this account and my IGN one as a reference so that I don't have to drag all of my games out and do it the old way. I just got my badge from the Forza tournament, but oh well, i'll get another badge later.
I'm sure most people think i'm wasting my time but this is important to me, so yeah. I'll track everyone who is on my friend's list again once I get everything set up.
I made an account with the Bloodbath name on Lostpedia a week or so ago and you can change your name on 360 Voice (by sending an email to an admin) so i'm set there.
So this is the last blog on this account, see you on the next one.- Posted Mar 7, 2008 9:47 pm PT

6Mar 08And it's awesome so far! I've played a bit of the single player and it's a lot of fun, there's a ton of different things you can do. I haven't played co-op but versus mode is great, it remind me a lot of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (because that's the only SC game that i've played online), and I love it. The first guy I played with was really cool, hopefully it stays that way (unlike Splinter Cell).
I was going to get Bully today as well but Best Buy was out, which was a first. I'll probably go pick it up on Tuesday though.- Posted Mar 6, 2008 4:42 pm PT

29Feb 08Well, the shortest month of the year is over and I guess i'm going to make an end of the month blog, yay.
We'll start with my current Gamespot stats...
That would be my level, we'll see how much higher I can get it in March. My badges are there too, I should get one or two more in March.
Those are my stats, i'll try to increase most of those as much as I can.
Games I purchased this month are...
Devil May Cry 4
Great game, a lot of fun.
Hardwood Hearts
Good for what it is, but the computer is so cheap.
Lost: Via Domus
Pretty big let down, as displayed in by previous two blogs.
Staying on the gaming side of things, my gamerscore is currently 22791. I'm going to try to get at least 24000 before April. Shouldn't be a problem but I have been VERY lazy with achievements since last Fall.
Let's look at my favorite game from this last month.
Call of Duty 4
I've been loving this game since I got it in December. So much fun, I would say it's the second best 360 game i've played so far. I will say thought that I am starting to get a LITTLE bored of it after playing it way too much over the last month. New patch just came out with a few new things, my favorite being that now the snipers actually work.
My gamertag was changed for a fifth time this month as well, six if you count my tag for the original Xbox. I'm liking this one, so far, but I obviously liked the others at one time as well...so we'll see what happens. I'm sure I won't change it again before April.
Looking back at my blogs from this month, it seems like it's been a long month. The Super Bowl was this month
, that seems like it was ages ago.
I also had to say goodbye to the Live Eye this month as well, sadly. I really miss it.
That's about it for games...but it's not over yet!
Favorite TV show from this month, is easily...

Lost
Don't have anything to say about it other than that it's the best show i've ever seen (and i've seen a lot), it always gets better, and I am addicted to it. It also made me pay $60 for a game that I knew would be bad. That's how good it is.
My favorite song this month was Jeff Buckley - Grace (i'm listening to it right now)
I just have a few things left now...
Games I plan on buying in March...
Bully: Scholarship Edition
Army of Two
Condemned 2: Bloodshot
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2
Dark Sector
Those should be enough to get me to GTA IV
. My favorite from this list is Vegas 2, since Rainbow Six Vegas gets a 10 from me.
My biggest wish for March is that new episodes of something will come back to Friday. It's the only dull TV night out of the week (not counting Saturday, which has and always will be dull for TV).- Posted Feb 29, 2008 9:04 pm PT

28Feb 08Well I "finally" finished Via Domus, after having it for less than 24 hours. Played for maybe 8 hours all together. So yeah, it's pretty short, but not really that bad of a game. I think the problem they had was trying to fit the first two seasons into one game. Everything kind of flew by and made little sense, and it would have been much better if they had just made it a much longer game and stretched everything out so that it would at least appeal to people who haven't seen the show. As someone who has seen every episode, I knew what was going on, but I can't imagine playing the game without seeing the show, it would just not make any sense at all.
There are also a lot of characters and plot elements missing...Boone and Shannon are nowhere to be seen. Michael is seen twice and Walt is never seen. Claire is only seen at the start of the game. Jin and Sun play very small roles. Sawyer is pretty much just a person to buy stuff from. The entire tail section is missing. When Sawyer, Michael, Jin, and Walt go off on the raft, it is talked about once and then never again. Then when Walt is kidnapped you never hear about it after Sawyer, Michael, and Jin come back. There are a huge number of other parts of the story that have been stripped out of the game.
You kind of take Michael's place with betraying Jack and Kate (Sawyer and Hurley aren't there) except it's completely different. You get on a boat and leave, then it ends with a ending that you would expect in Lost.
I would say even if you're a huge Lost fan, rent it, unless you only like buying games like myself. I would give it a 6/10.
Guess that's my review, i'll change it around and make it an actual review on the site.- Posted Feb 28, 2008 10:52 am PT

27Feb 08So, I got Lost: Via Domus today, reason being that I LOVE the show. I've played it for a bit now and it is definitely only for people who watch the show. If someone who has never watched the show played the game they would be completely lost (no pun intended). Graphics are kind of last gen and movement can be kind of clunky at times. Voices either sound very much like the actual actors or nothing like them. Those are the only negative things at this point, the story seems to be moving along well and the gameplay is fun. I'll probably get the full 1000 on this game.

25Feb 08Well, a lot of people know of dendrophilian, a funny guy on Youtube from Norway. Well, he hasn't made a video for a while so last week I decided to start a rumor that he had been killed, here is my original comment on his Youtube page.

Hehe, I just thought it was funny at the time and that nobody would believe me, well, people are apparently a lot easier to convince than I thought. I started to get messages on Youtube soon after asking if it was true, and I made up everything as best as I could, saying that they should respect "our family" at this time and that I didn't want his funeral information going around on the net, etc. Believe it or not, they actually fell for all of that as well. I even gave out a fake e-mail address saying that all well wishes should be sent there and they would be in full view at his funeral (which in my imagination would have been today).
I check back on his profile today to see pages of people talking about his death, which was just unreal to me. Here are some of them...

Images are cut off, as always, click here to see all of the images, or go to his profile using the link provided at the top of this blog and read all of the comments about it there.
Anyway, it's fun to start rumors on the internet. I can't wait to see what dendro will have to say about this in his next video, unless he really is dead, or something.- Posted Feb 25, 2008 8:47 pm PT

25Feb 08I changed it to Bloodbath x87x this morning. Pretty much just searching through the internet for something that sounded like a tag, and added my x87x that I had in two of my other tags at the end. There ya go. It will probably stick for a few months at least.

So, a new season of Big Brother has started and it easily has the most **** up cast yet, well at least on the US version. I always hear about the messed up people that are on the foreign version of the show and the kind of things that go on in the house and wonder why it hasn't been that bad in the US yet, well, now it is.
We'll start with James, a guy with a mohawk who wears pink shirts and purple jeans, etc. and claims to be straight. I just thought he was strange, but a few days ago I found out that he used to be a gay pornstar. This has been confirmed by several people, and I would rather just take their word on it than see the video myself. So now everytime I see this guy, that's what comes into my mind, and it's **** up.
Moving on, we have Matt and Natalie. For anyone that doesn't know, this year's "theme" was soul mates, where two people are matched upon who the show thinks each person's soul mate is. They do everything together, including sleeping in the same bed. When they made that part of the show i'm sure they were expecting what happens next. One night, Natalie decided that it would be a good idea to give Matt a blowjob. I have seen this video. People will say, "you don't know if that's what they were doing", well, there's not much else you can be doing when you go under the sheets, position your head above someone's lower area and make sucking noises. This video is on Youtube if you want to go look for it. This has also happened for a second time, apparently. Other than those services, Matt makes it obvious that he wants nothing to do with her.
Next we have Ryan and Jen, who were dating before coming into the house. They were paired up with different people, strangely. Eventually it came out that they were dating before coming into the house, which ruined their game and their partner's. However, now that this was out, they were free to make out whenever they felt the need and even have sex in a bathroom that everyone else in the damn house uses.
This video is also on Youtube if you want to look for it. Some of the things said during the act, are very **** up. They go into the bathroom and you hear Jen say "bend me over", "is it in yet", then about 10 seconds later "have you already went?", and then, "it's ok". Wow. As a guy, two things that should never be said are "is it in yet" and "have you already went?". Jen should write a book about things not so say during sex, as she seems to be an expert. If poor Ryan's rep wasn't already ruined enough, when he and his girlfriend were put up for eviction, she decided to go around telling everyone that Ryan was a racist, and then lie about it when he confronted her about it. Ouch.Going away from the sexual things, we have Joshua, who in an argument said that Amanda should hang herself just like her dad did. Awful, I don't know what would make someone say a thing like that. We also have Adam calling autistic people retards, and Alex apparently trying to finger Amanda while she slept. Uhh...
So, it's a **** up season, and this is just week two (I think). I'm sure more will come.

21Feb 08I took part in the Forza tournament I blogged about a few days ago today, and I not only came in last in my Jag, but was lapped. Credit that to me not being very good, crashing badly, and having to pit. Oh well, it was still enjoyable, and an emblem should be coming sometime.

19Feb 08
Would you? I would in a heart beat. I've been beating myself up over making this as my name (and my name on other sites as well). Life lesson: never name yourself after something you'll eventually stop caring for, games, music, movies, etc. I pretty much make a new account everywhere each time that I make a new XBL gamertag (weird, I know...) and they've mostly been all based on music that I was into at the time.
I've had 4 different XBL tags in just over a year (tag on original Xbox couldn't change), and now I want to change it again! Only problem is i've done too much on this site to just make a new account.
I'm pretty sure you used to be able to change your name here a long time ago, wish you could still do it!
I don't really want to change my gamertag either though, because that's 800 points! $10! It's a total waste of money but it's killing me. Sorry about the rant, i'm just so **** annoyed that it's painful.- Posted Feb 19, 2008 3:14 pm PT

18Feb 08Well, I signed up for the Forza tournament the other day. Even though it's one of the most boring games i've played and the only game i've fell asleep while playing, I can't pass up a chance to get a badge. I'll do a few laps and most likely come in last, have a badge, and be happy. My day is Thursday and time is 4:00 PM (I think).

17Feb 08Old news now, but Dream On by Aerosmith came out yesterday for GHIII, and it's easy. My second try...

16Feb 08I just saw the songs that will be coming out next week for Rock Band.
Stone Temple Pilots - Sex Type Thing
Weezer - El Scorcho
Garbage - Why Do You Love me
I like all three bands but I think i'll only buy Sex Type Thing, the other songs don't really interest me.
I can't wait for the Thrash Pack on March 4th, with At The Gates, The Haunted, and The Evile. That's going to be great. I've also heard rumors of a Red Hot Chili Peppers pack, which i'll buy.- Posted Feb 16, 2008 4:07 pm PT

13Feb 08Just finished up the game on human mode, i'll most likely play through on other difficulties as well since I only died 3 times, one of those 3 being on the stupid very last thing you do before the credits because I kept messing up. You just had to dodge punches from a giant statue and use Nero's arm on it, but I kept missing the left handed haymaker that he threw at me. Had to use 5 vital stars (3 small and 2 medium) AND a golden orb.
The backtracking wasn't bad at all, it was actually a lot of fun, more fun of the last bit before you got Dante even. Fighting the bosses again wasn't bad, then again, I was only playing on human mode so I don't know how much i'll get annoyed on the other difficulty levels.
Dante wasn't hard to get used to, especially after getting the big ass gun that you get after beating the big snake. Not to mention, he's awesome.- Posted Feb 13, 2008 7:06 pm PT

11Feb 08I finally got my emblem for "watching" the Interactive Achievement Awards last Thursday. I really just watched a few minutes of it, went to sleep, and left my PC on all night. I wasn't going to miss another chance at an emblem after not being able to take part in the Lost chat on TV.com two weeks ago. My second line of emblems has started, yay.
I got March issues of OXM and EGM yesterday. Here are some of the review scores from them...
8.5 Metal Slug 3
8.5 Chessmaster Live
8.0 The Club
7.5 Devil May Cry 4
5.0 Dynasty Warriors 6
5.0 FIFA Street 3
4.5 Spongebob Squarepants: Underpants Slam!
4.0 Monster Jam
(Fanboys Only) Bomberman Live: Bomb-Up Pack
8.5, 9.0, 8.0 Devil May Cry 4
6.5, 6.5, 7.0 Turok
6.5, 5.5, 6.5 The Club
4.5, 4.5, 5.0 FIFA Street 3
OXM also had Game of the Year awards. They were a little late, eh? I would post them but there's too much, it would be easier if I was allowed to post pics of the mags. They have some good things and some BS (like saying Bioshock's ending was one of the worst of the year). They also have a huge number of previews for 2008, and it's looking like a great year.
EGM has a feature on PS3 coming back this year, which talks about MGS 4, FF XIII, the Blu-ray stuff, Home, and more (as seen on the cover). It's looking good for Sony this year, I must say. They also have Game of the Year awards (late again).
I'm half way through DMC 4, as the achievement says. I just got Dante and now time for some backtracking...great. Hopefully the enviroments are changed up a little bit, either way it should be enjoyable with the story being as great as it is and combat being as fun as it is.
I played some demos today, Conflict: Denied Ops and the Frontline Fuel of War multiplayer demo. Conflict, is pretty bad...clunky movement, bad graphics, combat that is much less than enjoyable, I could go on. Overall it just seems like it will be a poor game. I'm seeing a 6.0 on Gamespot.
I played the Frontlines single player demo a while ago, and the multiplayer one came out today. It's good, and I think I may be buying it when it's released. I may change my mind though depending on how much money I have at the time.- Posted Feb 11, 2008 7:30 pm PT

7Feb 08I went to Best Buy today and picked up Devil May Cry 4, a new controller for my 360, and 1600 MS points. I was going to post pictures but i'm too lazy right now.
New wireless controller was needed, since my old one that I got with my 360 over a year ago was about to die. The left stick was really messed up. In Call of Duty 4 it was like trying to walk with a very strong wind pushing up against you, along with it generally being very hard to move around. In Half Life 2, I fell off a building and it was once again like walking in a strong wind (I would imagine it's like that in every FPS), and in Saints Row I couldn't run and driving a car was nearly impossible. To go with that, menus were a **** to navigate. So...paid way too much for a new controller, and I should be good for another year or so.
With the 1600 MS points, I got Wonderwall for Rock Band (been wanting that), Lost gamer pictures and theme, and Grey's Anatomy pictures. Reason for that is that I like those shows (love Lost, a lot) and wanted stuff from them. I'm saving at least 800 points for COD 4 maps (i'm sure they'll be about that price), and anything else will probably go to pictures (i'm addicted to them, it takes like 2 minutes to go to the bottom of them).
Devil May Cry, is good, i'm just a bit after where I got in the demo (about to cross a bridge). I just beat a boss, which was fun, and i'm in some mines now. The cut scenes at the start were incredible, great way to start the game. I'll continue with that game tomorrow.
On TV tonight, we have the new Survivor, Lost, and Eli Stone.
I like Survivor, even though last season wasn't that great, so i'm looking forward to it. This pretty much looks like another "all star" thing which was thrown together due to the strike. Should still be good though.
The second episode of the new season of Lost is tonight, and i'm extremely excited (like always when it comes to this show). This is my favorite show, ever, if you didn't know.
Eli Stone started last week and it's pretty good, so I will watch it tonight.- Posted Feb 7, 2008 4:58 pm PT

7Feb 08Since June 29th 2007, i've been using a great site called The Live Eye. It's an incredible site that tracks your gaming, and tells you how long you play each game, how long you do things like watch videos and do Video Chat, among other things. Today, I saw this saying that the site will be shut down, for many reasons, and it saddens me. I guess there's nothing I can do but hope that something will happen and the Live Eye will stay up and enjoy the time that it has left.

5Feb 08Pretty late with this blog, but I was too lazy to make it yesterday...so yeah, the Giants won, I was wrong, but I don't really care, it was a great game and i'm glad that the Giants won. I made a video of the last 5 minutes or so of the game and took some pictures from it. They're going to be cut off like always.
Here we have Belichick along with many other people running onto the field before the game is (officially) over.
The two coaches are in there somewhere.
Bill leaving the game with one second on the clock. Maybe he needed to go to the bathroom.
Strahan getting a finger stuck in his mouth as someone looks over his shoulder in disgust.
Back on the field now...
...and it's over.
It's really over this time...
Oh well, they'll be back next year. They almost always are.
Stadium shot.
Plax after tearing up in an interview, can't blame him...
Coughlin getting a bath.

3Feb 08Well, January is finally over which means the games will start coming soon. I was going to get Turok but so far it has been getting negative reviews so I changed my mind, this is what i'm planning on getting this month. Release dates are from Gamefly, which is a service I don't use anymore, but i've always trusted their release dates.
2/7 Devil May Cry 4
2/21 The Club
2/27 Frontlines: Fuel of War
2/28 Lost
Looks like enough, i'm sure at least one will go to next month though (which has a lot of games right now).
I finished the main storyline in Saints Row early this morning, and still have a lot of side missions to go. I actually beat the last Rollers mission where you have to blow up a bunch of cars on the back of a truck after two tries (I just used the SWAT truck), but the Carnales mission where you have to destroy a plane was killing me, it took me about 10 or 15 tries over the last few days. Anyway, it was a really good game, a lot better than I thought it would be.
...and the Super Bowl is on tonight, yay, I think the Patriots will win, but I don't really care as long as it's a good game. I've been watching the pre-game stuff almost all day , and I have plenty of food and stuff for the game in less than an hour.- Posted Feb 3, 2008 2:12 pm PT
