Hi, everyone! Hers and Hers and His Online now officially open! The address is http://s9.invisionfree.com/HHH_Online. I put a notice at the bottom of all the tv.com game threads that the games were forwarded there. I hope I don't get in trouble for advertising, but I guess it doesn't really matter anymore if they ban me! Anyway, I won't be on here much anymore, except probably for the next few days to tie up loose ends.

So good bye, TV.com, and I hope to see you all at the new forum!

Hey guys, I just finished the banner logo, and I have to say I'm very pleased with the results. That means I can open up the forum tomorrow! Excited? Me too. I'll be happy to leave this place.

Now I just have small administrative tasks to do, like writing up the guidlines and such, so I'll get to those tomorrow afternoon. Wow, you know, it was last Wednesday when I said it would take me a week to complete. Talk about an accurate prediction!

Just thought I'd let you all know that the forum's almost ready to be opened! Pretty much the only thing I have left to do is design the banner logo, which I'll hopefully get to tomorrow.

I just finished applying the color scheme, which was very tedious to sort out. After trying several times to make a brown and orange scheme and failing miserably, I finally decided on one to download instead. It's not brown, I'm sorry to say, but I think it looks good, anyway. Everything is from Invisionize except for the background gradient, which I made at Absolute Background Textures, and elaborated on in Photoshop. Here's a little sneek peek for ya!

I hope it meets your expectations.

Oh, and I found another great Smilie website yesterday, so we now have eighteen more to choose from, lol. I really need to quit now... (stands up) Hello, my name is Rachael, and I'm a smilie-holic.

Hi, everyone. As you know, yesterday, I started to make a new Three's Company board for all of us as an alternative to this site. I had it in my mind to go with Ezboard, but they impose upon you a one-month trial gold membership. ...Which would be great for now, but I can't get them to tell me which features will be dropped after the trial period expires. What a horrible surprise it would be to have all of my customizations deleted and the board to revert to a standard generic forum. Anyway, I literally spent hours trying to find one with all the features I wanted until I finally decided on an Invision Power Board. Although I'm having a little trouble finding my way to customize the template, it does have some pretty cool features like no ads, unlimited posting, custom rank titles, avatar uploading, and a customizable library of smilies. I'm going to need your input on a few things:

    1. What color scheme should I choose?

    2. Are there any particular smilies you want to be included?

    3. Can you come up with some rank titles? (Example: "Salad Man" or "Stuffed Giraffe")

Well, I'm off to go smilie shopping! See you guys later.

Well, they did it again- transferred all of our nice, convenient games to the fun and games forum. I received six messages from a moderator telling me my score was reduced for deliberately posting excessive games in the wrong category. This is starting to be just as much about the right to be heard as it is about accessibility. I'd start a petition or something, but I'm afraid I'd get banned. Damn, we're the only ones who frequent the TC message board, anyway. The games weren't getting in the way of anyone's enjoyment of the show discussions. This just ticks me off. I almost feel like leaving the site for good, but I really enjoy talking with you guys. ...Oh well, back to sorting through five pages of threads.

I don't usually pay much attention to the advertisements, but this one is annoying the heck out of me, for some reason. I don't know if it's his stupid expression, or the gobs of pie filling down his shirt, but everytime I see it, I just want to punch his lights out. Lol. Has an ad every bugged you this much?

Well, I decided to commit myself to learning another piece on the keyboard, this time Clair de Lune, by Debussy (the original, not an arrangement). I had been working on a couple of Chopin's Nocturnes, but after playing them over and over... and over... and over again, I was starting to get sick of them. So, I'm taking a break by learning this piece. Clair de Lune is very well-known, like most of the ones I choose to learn. You've probably heard it before. I'm pretty sure it was played during the fountain scene at the end of Ocean's 11.

Anyway, this one ranks 7 ouf of 9 on the toughness scale at musicscores.com. (1 being Ode to Joy, 9 being Flight of the Bumblebee) ...So I think I'm doing pretty well considering that when I started self-teaching myself three years ago, I was at skill level 3. (I wasn't exactly a beginner, since I had piano lessons when I was nine.) The entire piece is six pages long, and so far, I've learned the first two. I can tell it's going to take quite a while to complete, but I think it's worth it.

Now if I can only get it out of my head...

I finally went shopping for new clothes a few days ago! I was in dire need, since about half of my wardrobe dates back to '02. I think it goes without saying that my fashion taste has more than slightly changed since I was 14. I went to Penny's and Sears, and found two pairs of jeans, three pairs of shorts, one pair of capris, and two shirts. Not a whole lot, but enough to keep me satisfied for a while. I still have a ways to go to complete the wardrobe makeover project I started last summer.

In other news, my website has completed its second month of operation. I am pleased to announce that the monthly visitor total has doubled that of last month! Twelve thousand visitors and counting!

You know, I've noticed a lot of the Three's Company forum regulars have disappeared. Where are you guys?!? Wolf has been absent for two months, and I also haven't seen Yoester, The_AG, or Stevela around lately. I hope you all are o.k.

I don't think I like this new "Fun and Games" forum. Why can't we have all of the games together in one spot? It doesn't make sense to break them up into two locations. Now I'll have to muddle through three pages just to find the Three's Company Games. All I want to know is why? How is this better for anyone?

Ok, I'm officially in agony. Open for Business still hasn't arrived yet, and they shipped it a week ago! There's still a chance it could come today, though, since the mail's been painstakingly slow lately and hasn't yet arrived. I really hope so. On the bright side, my Adobe Photoshop/Premier software is coming tomorrow! That's also the day season six of Three's Company releases in stores. So I've got a whole bunch of goodies coming my way!

Now mailman...uh, woman... mailperson (for the sake of being politically correct), please come soon and end my suffering, lol.

The third Sims 2 expansion pack, Open for Business, releases today, and I'm going nuts waiting for my preorder to arrive! EB Games shipped it two days ago, so I suppose there's a chance I'll get it today, (as this was the case with the last expansion), but I'm still suffering for the time being, lol. For some reason, USPS isn't registering the shipping code when I try to track it, so that's pretty annoying. Oh well, it will come soon enough... At least I can download my chicken costume now, haha... oh, nevermind.

Just a quick announcement. My site has just completed its first month of operation, and in that time has received... drumroll... 4000 visitors! Wow! And to think my prediction was 500! In addition, I also have 45 guestmap entries. This is great- I never expected it to take off quite this quickly. If this keeps up, I might even be able to put up a donation area and actually make some money off it!

Alright! I think the rankings are finally back to normal. I was going up about one percent each day, but today I jumped from 3 to 17! I'm also glad to see that the icons have been fixed.

Now I don't know about you, but these new advertisements at the top and bottom of the forum are starting to irritate me. Ads are taking over the world!!!

Yay, I'm finally getting Adobe Photoshop 4.0! I'm so thrilled! I work a great deal in photo editors, and the one I currently have is a bit lacking in some aspects... like blending. There is no blur tool I can use to blend things together. I can't even begin to tell you how this compicates my working process. But wow, Photoshop- it'll blow the pants off of my current editor! And not only am I getting Photoshop, but it also comes with Adobe Premier 2.0, for video editing! I love making videos and slideshows and such, but Windows Movie Maker can only go so far. I think it has maybe ten or fifteen special effects, whereas Premier has hundreds! My next project will be a compilation of old home video footage and pictures of myself to the song "Forever Young." That'll be fun to make! We recently got our home movies transferred to dvd, so I'm now able to get them into the computer. I did another similar video awhile back to my graduation, using the song "We've Only Just Begun." I faded in with old pictures to create a nostalgic effect, but I didn't have any video to add. Now I do! I can't wait for this software!

It's one-thirty in the morning, and I can't sleep. I feel so much like writing, but I just keep staring at a lifeless blank page. The truth is, I haven't been able to write for quite some time now. I'm full of inspiration, but I just can't seem to organize my thoughts into a single subject. And furthermore, I can't find the words to express everything that's racing through my mind. I'm stuck trying to bridge the gap between where my talent leaves off and the complexity of my inner being begins. It's a loney and frustrating position to be in.

I wish they'd fix the icon sytem here! I'm getting sick of looking at Schroeder all the time. You know, they really need some Garfield icons. It seems I always end up choosing a Peanuts character for lack of anything better.

On another note, I'm up to 700 site visitors now! I was right- the update brought a huge surge today. The daily count's at 133, and it's only 5:30! If I keep going at my current average, I could be getting 1500 visitors a month!

Okay, so it's a lame title, but one that just popped into my head when I saw how close I was to ranking up a level. The percent progression has been slowing to a crawl lately, so I thought I'd write another blog to give it a boost. What shall I write about? Hmm... Well, my site's only been open since the 25th, and already I've had over 400 visitors. I think that's pretty significant! I'm gonna get another update up soon, and I expect to see a surge in daily visitors from that point. I also have a steadily increasing number of returning visitors. But enough about that, what else should I write about? I guess I could just fill the space with useless words. Let's try it... She sells seashells by the seashore. Hmm, that was harder than I thought, lol. I guess I'll just conclude with the Three's Company theme song. "Come and knock on our door... We've been waitin' for you... Where the kisses are hers and hers and his, three's company, too! Come and dance on our floor... Take a step that is new... We've a loveable space that needs your face, three's company, too! You'll see that life is a ball again, laughter is calling for you... Down at our rendezvous, three is com-pa-ny too!"

I had two power outages yesterday because of the incredibly high winds that swept the area. The first time was in the middle of the night, and we were out for four or five hours. The second time happened right as my mom and I were sitting down to watch a movie. Luckily, my laptop batteries were full, so we were able to watch it on that. Halfway through, the power came back on, so we switched back to the tv. My dad's getting nervous in case there's another power outage while the Superbowl is on. Go Seahawks!

I received a late birthday present yesterday- one gigabyte of RAM for the desktop! Now I have 1.5 gigs operating on dual channels. I can't wait to test it out on The Sims 2. The performance speed is going to be amazing! Yay!!!

As many of you already know, I turned 18 yesterday! I thought I better write a blog about it, even though I didn't do anything spectacular. The highlight of the day was probably the delicious meal I had from The Olive Garden. I usually have Chicken Alfredo every year, but this time I decided to stray a little from the ordinary, so I got Stuffed Chicken Marsala. Yum! Too bad I didn't have any leftovers or I would have had a wonderful lunch today. Then there was the ice cream cake from Baskin-Robins, which, although poorly decorated, turned out to be very good. For my gift, I got an iHome. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's pretty much an alarm clock/stereo dock for my iPod mini. My previous alarm clock was becoming unreliable, so this is a excellent replacement for it. It's nice being able to wake up to your own MP3's! I also should be getting some money for a shopping spree, which I'll probably end up spending on clothes. Well there you have it- my 18th in a nutshell. Not too exciting, but not too bad, either.

Don't you just hate it when some online jerk who has no respect for anyone picks the one insult to throw at you that will hurt you the most? I try so hard not to take things personally when I'm chatting, but sometimes things hit a little too close to home. I'm sure he has no idea how much his words stung, but I hope he encounters someone that will treat him with the same ignorance he showed me. It's times like these that make me remember why I stay away from chat sites and virtual chat environments. People just don't give a crap.
