    Holidays and Heros

So here we are again at the holiday season. The time of the that many look forward to possibly expanding their game library or upgrade to the next console. I am no exception.

So here's my addition this year, Guitar Hero: World Tour. I am no stranger to the game, having played it at friends' houses etc. It the took the a while to get it myself.

Nintendo's recent decision to credit Wii user who bought the Internet Channel brought Legend of Zelda, the NES version, to me. I've hit a wall at 90% or so. Also, with limited demos for download, I have discovered World of Goo. It's very enjoyable. Other than that it's been an uneventful holiday game-wise.

Well I guess that's really all I got. See ya next time.

Nothing much new, a dream still too far.

Once again, it's been quite some time. And much like last time, not a whole lot has changed.

The newest, slightly embarrassing, change is finally getting my Wii online. I downloaded some channels and some games. Super Mario, Super Mario World, and Super Mario 3 all now are part of my collection.

The 360 still remains a mere dream sadly. This job just doesn't pay enough to spend money freely. Though it does seem to be taunting me. I was introduced to Prototype the other day. Oh sweet potatoes, that game is nothing sort of orgasmic. Between that and my recent finding of Magic: The Gathering, the 360 seems to be making an effort to taunt me. Grrrrrr.

    Getting back to it.

It's been a while. Seems to be a pattern slowly developing here. There are a few new developments to speak of.

I found work, though it's only part time. It certainly beats having no job at all.

The newest game in my library is First Decade. Though I mainly got it for Generals, several games for $30 was too good to pass up.

Haven't bought any since then. SMG still hasn't been beaten. The last few stars are a huge pain, and my drive to beat it waffles. I'm at 98% for Brawl. I still seem to missing some small part.

I had the pleasure of being introduced to Left 4 Dead not too long ago. It's pure and utter fun. And of course, that re-peaked my interest in getting a 360. Though I have been told that Left 4 Dead, like many shooters, is really best on PC. It would be much cheaper too, not having to buy a 360. Either way it's a ways away. Games and the like have to take a back seat to college loans and other such pressing costs.
