Okey, summer is over, work has started and I bought a NEW car.

After my vecation in Finland I got a bit of a car fever after seeing my oncles new Audi A6 2,0l TDI. So after I got back I also wanted a new car. So I bought a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer. Its a really cool looking and fun to drive car. It only has a 1.8l but it has 143hp that is enough for a the relativly smal car. It does 0-100Km/h in 9,6sec.

Here is some of the stuff thats in the car.

Leather seats, wheel.
18'' aloy wheels whit low profile tiers
Xeon ligths (good to have in the dark roads of Sweden)
Keyless entry and start (you just touch the car whit the "key" in you pocket and the doors open and then just start the car whit the key still in you pocket, sweet)
Bluetooth for linking you mobile to the car.
A 650W sound system form Rockford Fosgate whit 8 speakers and a10'' subwoofer in the trunck.
And the crown jewel, A 7'' LCD touch screen navigation system whit 30GB hdd space and a media server(6GB), a 6 CD/DVD changer whit WMA, MP3 and DVD Video Support.
Aux connection whit video support. That means i could connect a game system to it and play games on the 7'' screen.

All that for 233,600kr = 23,300$ whit the old conversion(from a year ago) but now it is something like 45,000$.

Ow, and the color is red. The sort of means that I dont have the car yet since I will be delivered w.34, that is in two weeks.

I also leaving for Finland in a couple of weeks to visit my relatives. It will be a 12h drive. Its a good thing my dad will be coming along so that he will drive half the way so i can get my sleep on and some PES 2008 on the PSP.

While playing MGS4 i thought to my self that maby i would get more out of this game if I would finish the old games firts. I know, you wouldn't thinkt that that would help.

So i decided to buy MGS 1, 2 and 3(along whit Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake incl.). There was one problem, or two actually.

I started playing MGS but after the cut sceen where I'm told about Metal Gear the game hangs. It apears to be to many scraches on the disc since i bought it used, obviously. So, I'm looking into getting it replaced whit a new old copy or a copy of Twin Snakes for the GCN if i can't get the PS version.

So, move on to say MGS3 since it takes place before 1. Well, thats where the second problem comes in. I don't have a BC PS3 or a PS2 at hand right now because I sold it along whit MGS2 and some other games. I figured I would get atleast a week of playtime form the first one because of work and EURO 08 so that i would pick one up next week.

Well I was going to go buy the new PSP tomorrow along whit MGS PO since my old one is to big . So I might as well buy a new PS2 Slim while im at it. Hey, it only 1499kr for the PSP and 999kr for the PS2 Slim so its not that bad. Its about $250 whit last years conversion but its more like $500 now. Well I have around $2500 sitting in the bank and my bro owes me $200 for a pair of Fotball shoes I bought him and im selling my old PSP for $100(thats $50 bucks if you magicly convert to the comparable price).

Soon Snake will sneak up and jack ppl again.

BTW, is Twin Snakes a better version then the old one if you dont really care about the graphix since they both look like crap compared to MGS4. I've heard that TS has some frame rate problems something that i dont remember the PS version having when i played it around a 100y ago.

P.S. I have a new Achievement Update that i need to write but I'm to lazy right now. I got my 50 something points left thanks to Grid.

Its a bit old(4 days) but there will be a new F1 game next year.

Codemaster (Toca Race Driver series, Colin McRae series) has signed a deal whit FIA to bring out a new F1 game for next years season.

If you don't know, I'm a huge F1 fan and this game stormed its way to my most wanted list in 340km/h. You clould even say im looking forward to this F1 game more then Gears of War 2... but I won't.

Whit the last great F1 game beeing EAs F1 season 99-02 I have been left hanging for a great F1 game for 6 years. And it being made by the greatest racing game developers in the World(Turn 10 and PD don't come even close) it cant be bad.

In the late '80s and early '90s F1 cars had 3L+ V12s (and later V8s) on a extremly light weight car so they maxed well over 400km/h, though never got up to those speeds because of the short streightaways.
Kimi Räikkönen set the top speed of 328km/h in Istanbul last weekend and had an avarage speed around 230-240km/h, dont remember exactly.
Also F1 cars are much faster then the Moto GP bikes in both top speeds and cornering, also CART cars are around 10 sec slower then the SLOWEST F1 car(like Force India and Toro Rosso) per lap on an avarage lenght track.

I was just thinking that whit GTA IV breaking sales records and being the highers rated game, probebly ever, that it will boost the popularety of Saints Row 2 when it comes out in august?

Yeah, I think so. Whit GTA IV pulling in more players(note that I didnt say gamers.... damn) to the open world crime games that haven't played a GTA, SR or a similar game before, I think that after playing it they will most likely want more of the same.

Now, Saints Row was mostly well resived by critics though having some flaws. Saints Row sold well too but not as well as GTA III did when it came out(GTA III being the first 3D GTA game and therefore being a new take on a classic game series that can be compared to Saints Row and whit GTA not beeing that populer or well known untill III).

So, by my logic and whit SR2 almost looking as good as GTA IV though whitout the fog and distance effects I think that SR2 will be a big hit this year.
No I'm not saying that it will sell better then GTA IV but that it will be among the best selling games of '08.
Yes, I do think that it will sell better then MGS4 mostly because its on two systems but also that MGS4 isn't really a game that is as compelling to as many ppl as a GTA like game.
It will sell more then three times more then the first one did and be a much more flushed out and polished game.

I have just gotten my copy(bout 5h ago) of GTA IV(LE) and have been playing it for a few hours and so far its amazing. The city looks great but havin' only driven around Dukes I haven't seen all that the game has to offer. And Niko... ow Niko. BEST CHARACTER EVER!!! 'nuff said.

So, as some may know(and by some I mean no one outside of Sweden. Or is it a holiday in the UK and US too?) May 1st is a holiday here in Sweden and thanks to that I got 4 days of work and I will be playing GTA IV a bunch. Though not anymore today since I'm going out for a couple(10-20) beers whit my bro in a few hours.

So if my hangover isn't all that bad tomorrow I will probebly play it all day long.

I just checked up on my Limited Edition GTA IV package and its on its way to me as we... I wright. Its coming by police escort and will be ariving 4pm-5pm tomorrow afternoon so I will be getting my theft on tomorrow whit my duffly bag over my shoulder and the lockbox on the table infront of me.

Sweet! I seriously can't belive I will be playing it tomorrow. It still seems like weeks away. Also, I will have a four day weekend this week so I will play the hell out of it and probebly not sleep.

If you want to know I got the 360 version because of points and that I like the 360 controller more then the PS3 SIXAXIS and if your going to play GTA IV for a long time you better have good tools for it.

West Cost Riot is a Punk Rock festival taking plase June 26th in Gothenburg Sweden and my brother asked me to tag along. HELL YEAH!

Now you wonder, a Punk Festival in Sweden? No great bands will come. But thats were you're wrong. Some of the bands that will be there are Millencolin, NOFX, Bad Religion, Lagwagon, Flogging Molly and Comback Kid(I'm interested in seeing them since I just listend to them since I nver heard of them before and their Wake The Dead album was awesome). Then there are some great swedish punk bands also coming and some that I've never heard of. It will be fun.

Now all that I have to do is get some time of work. I have to take both the 26th and 27th since its a 3h drive form where I live to Gothenburg and the Festival ends at 12pm and I start work at 7am, and I will most likely be too drunk to work.

Soon the World Championships in Ice Hockey will start in Vancouver Canada and Finland(my real home country) has a farely good team and hopefully it will take them all the way. Last time they won was back in 95 Sweden playing agains... Sweden and wont the game 4-2. After that they have placed in the top 5 almot every year and have a alot of silver and bronz medals. But this year I hope to see something shinyer around the necks of my beloved Finland. I hope you all will chear for Finland

There is this website that I order all my games from here in Sweden and they have a release event for GTA4(they have a physical stor too in Stockholm) where they will give away PS3 and X360 Elit bundled whit the game for 1kr(they go for 4499kr and 2999kr respectivly, you figure it out.) to the first 10 ppl in the respective lines and the dudes in places 11-60 will get the game for 1kr(orig price 579kr).

And if thats not totally crazy enough there has been ppl in line for the past week!!!! And the first dude said that he will pay for all the 60 ppl first in both lines, meaning all 120 dudes that get the stuff for 1kr each. And that dude still only pays about 20% of what just the game costs.

You might ask why im not there in line. Well, I am a platinum level costumer on that website so I get the Collectors Edition of GTA4 for 899kr and thats down from the origional 1499kr and I have a job so if I would have been in line for the whole month I would have lost about 20.000kr(I'm a CNC programer/operator so I make a a fare amount compared to other production industry jobs).

And just for some math help, $1 is about 5,85kr and and 1€ is about 9kr.

So I got some new games yesterday and thought that I'd try out one of them. I picked Frontline: Fuel Of War as my first game.

I've played a couple of missions in single player and its pretty good so far. Theres really corny dialog but you can skip the cutscenes if you want. The single player is practicly a multiplayer objectve based gameplay, meaning that you go through the map capturing points, destroying different stuff and so on. If you die you respawn at the latest checkpoint you captured though you can change it to anyone that you already have. So simple and normal single player in a multiplayer outfit.
The game is bassed on the Unreal Engine so it looks pretty good whit a really solid frame rate and nice looking explotions. The weapons sound and feel powerful.
I haven't gotten around to play the multiplayer yet since my connection if kinda ****ed up so I can join Xbox Live but can't connect to any servers. Well, my cable goes through 3 routers since I haven't bought a longer cabel so that might be the problem.

I got two other games too that I might play this weekend but theres the Swedish and Finish championship finals in hockey on TV so that will take up some time since my favorite teams in both leagues are in the finals. Linköping HC and Oulun Kärpat are playin HV71 and Espoo Blues respectivly whit LHC leading 2-0 in matches in the Swedish finals and Kärpät leading 3-1 ib matches in the Finish finals. Really hope they both win.

Ow right the games, I got Condemned 2: Bloodshot and Rainbow Six: Vegas 2. I might check out R6V2 this weekend and saving the best for last. Condemned 2.

Damn! I also got Devil May Cry 4 that I got when it was released and still haven't gotten arount to playing it. And I will be getting GTA IV on the 29th(Collectors Edition) and Haze in May so I got my hands full whit games. I might be set till summer and then I will be getting MGS4 if it comes out. Is it still on for a June release? Or was it July? Hell, I cant remember.

There you have it. Rock Band in Europe cost more then double of what it costs in the US. Don't buy it if you in your right mind. Its not worth that much money. And the GAME cost €69.99 and that is about €10 more then a normal game costs.

I havent been at Gamespot for a while since i caught Pneumonia. How the hell? you might ask. Well, I'm Finish. And we fins like to go to the Sauna and as tradition for some fins, when theres snow outside you run out from the sauna and jump into the snow or into a hole in the ice(if your near a lake or river).
And I was in the sauna whit some of my swedish buddies(or wimps as i call them when it comes to sauna) and convinced them to go out and jump in the snow. And while they jumped in and ran back inside, I stayed and made a snow angel. After that I found out that I maby was out in the snow a bit too long and there by caught Pneumonia.
I have had Pneumonia before when I was in the army and we had a week long field training in -20°C while sitting on this(is used by the Finish army in mostly as a helicopter anti-aircraft weapon) on top of a mountain.

I'm not completely fine just yet but my fever has gone down. I ran at 39-41°C. I still have some trouble breathing and cough alot but I should be fine in a couple of weeks.
