  Today's Gamer

  One thing what I realized these days is that when ever people watch trailers of games like Starcraft 2 they wish for two things

  1. Starcraft Movie

  2. Making Starcraft First Person Shooter

   

  First idea is great , 2nd not so much . Call of Duty generation of today is so afraid to try something new . I was the same once , Wings of Liberty converted me . It opened my eyes . I admit that I was a fool to waste my time on mindless shooters . These are the real games which offer you challenge . I learned what it means to be a PC Gamer .

   

  I think dividing games into Genre is wrong . It's most amatuer thing to say that I don't play RTS or I don't play RPGs and so on . Games are Games no matter if it's RTS , RPG , Space Sim (I miss you , Thanks Star Citizen) and so on . Industry is overloaded by mindless military shooters and fans of these genres , specially console gamers buy everything what these greedy publishers throw at them . STOP DOING THAT ! . Buy creative games so they start to creat some creative stuff like The Witcher 2 , Total War , Star Citizen and so on .

   

  Don't be so proud to give money to people who doesn't deserve it . It's shame how games like COD sold so much on consoles and gems like The Witcher 2 doesn't even cross one million mark on xbox 360 . Don't you guys have any taste .? So before you say that it was a PC game that's why it didn't sell well , I'll say what about Dark Souls . Not even Single console version sold more than one million . If you put all console version of Dark Souls together it just reaches one million copies and The Witcher 2 on PC alone outsells that .

   

  So finally I'll advise people to get out of your basement and buy something new and stay away from mindless shooters which are nothing more than money grabbing scheme . Play creative games , if you are a PC gamer then it's bonus for you because of wide veriety between each PC exclusive title . Learn what it means to be a GAMER and try something new . You gonna enjoy that when you'll change from your regular shoot shoot shoot cutscene shoot shoot shoot cutscene formula .
