My Friends

PLZKLLME's Epic Blog

I may post in your blogs, I may not. Don't get mad if I don't. I probably just missed it at the side, I have over 300 friends booting others' blogs down the list. I'm more likely to post in your blogs if you post in mine.

I logged on today to see that I ranked up!

And for those of you who are keeping track (almost sure its nobody lol) I haven't posted a blog in a long time. I still check in to gamespot every day though. I'll probably start to post more blogs after finals are over, which they end two days from now.

For the new stuff, me and my roommate have started LANing Warzone 2100. Its a really fun RTS, even for being ten years old.

I also turned 18 a few weeks ago! (end of November)

Anyway, I'm heading back home Saturday morning. Its going to be a ten hour drive from the top of Michigan's Upper Peninsula to lower/mid Michigan. It doesn't help that everything is covered in snow.

    New Sig:

Its been a while since I made my last one, and I think this turned out pretty good.

Also, if anyone would like their own custome PSP background, I'm still making those. Just PM me if your interested and I'll see what I can do.

Thats right. I finally decided to finish Final Fantasy 12. Last night I had an urge to play it, so I was gonna start a new game, then I though to myself, "you haven't even beaten it yet! you have over 100 hours of gameplay and can go the last part any time! BEAT IT NOW!!!" So I decided to do that.

It had been a year since I last played it, and I had previously just been leveling up in it to beat the last mark, so all my guys were at level 80 or so. Because all my guys were such a high level it made the last boss somewhat easy. My Gambits didn't help him at all.

Anyway, now that I beat it, I decided to play through it again, but this time actually get the Zodiac Spear!

I had my first college exam Wednesday, only about 2 weeks after I started. It was for my precalc class. It was easier, and shorter than I expected, there was only one question I had trouble on, and it only took me about half an hour when they scheduled 90 minutes of the day for the exam.

I checked my grade for it, and it said I got 83/100. I then got an email from my instructer saying the grades for the exam were based off your homework scores and that the real grades werent in yet.

Anyway, I have another exam monday for my Computer Science class. Wish me luck! I'll need it since I'm in the excelled CS class.

I finally beat KotOR, after about a month of not playing it at all. If you read one of my previous blogs, I said that I was gonna play it on my PC, since the XBox version was freezing for me.

Anyway, I'm now left with that happy depressed feeling you get when you finish a really good game. Happy cuz you beat it and it had a great ending etc... but sad because it is over.

I beat it on the light side, but I might go back and try it on the dark after a little break.

If you must know, I had dual lightsabers. Right had was Cyan (Heart of the Guardian), started out as blue, and left hand was purple.

A Bionic Commando, that is! I ranked up today.

In other news, I'm doing good up here at Michigan Tech. I'm having some relationship troubles with my gf, since we are 10 hours away. We kinda aren't together any more, but still really like eachother. I'm coming back home around Thanksgiving so I hope to see her then.

Also, I started playing Final Fantasy 8 a few days ago. Pretty good so far.

I'm finally at college here at Michigan Tech, after a 10 hour ride up from home. Its really nice here.

I've been attending an orientation week thing that all first year students have to go to. It helps you get to know where everything is at, rules, etc...

Anyway, on to my internet speed here.

^ that is no joke either.

So a friend an me were gonna play guitar hero the other day. We plugged in the controllers but forgot to take out Soul Calibur. So we just left it in and played with the guitar controllers.

Funnest way to play any game.

Its not the easiest way to play the game, but when its the funnest, especially on multiplayer. The only problem is the guitar controllers constantly have the left button pushed down, so the person on the left walks backwards and the one on the right sprints forwards. You also gotta time your choices in menus just right too.

    Controls:

    Blue - Guard

    Red, Yellow, Orange - Attack

Tilting guitar up - Power attack for me, might depend on what you have assigned to the shoulder buttons.

Green: Power Up (for me at least)

For maximum multiplayer fun, have both players choose Olcadan. Some weapon matchups are kinda one sided, but this way it will fluctuate.

I am sooo happy! After it got hijacked yesterday, I thought it would take a while for the Steam staff to fix it. One of my friends said his account got hijacked or hacked a couple years ago and it took them a week to fix it.

It only took them a day to fix mine. I now love the Steam staff.

For those of you who didn't see it, check out my last blog. I posted it when I got hacked.

Well, I'm gonna go play some Left 4 Dead or some Team Fortress 2.

A friend on my friends list sent me a link to a steam website where they were doing a promotional offer for CSS. Like before there was one where you could play TF2 for a week, free, and same with an Unreal Tournament game. So I checked it out, but couldn't log in. Moments later I got an email from steam confirming that I changed my email address, soon after that Steam kept saying I was logging in on a different computer. Then my password was changed.

I went on the steam support site as soon as possible, entering a hijacked/hacked account help thing. I had to enter one of my CD keys, and have a picture of it with my account name written in ink on it too. Now I'm just waiting for a reply.

A little later a friend messaged me on xfire saying something like "WHAT THE F*CK MAN!" It was obvios that hacker used my account to do the same thing to some of my friends. So I told him what happened to me, and about the support site and such.

He put a video up on youtube, please send this to everyone you know that has a Steam account. Video

Also, the login site looks like this official login for Steam. Every detail is the same, so watch out, and make sure its the real thing.

... and I'm just now starting to yawn.

I also installed Battlefield 2 on my laptop. Putting that baby on a 64bit OS wasn't a walk in the park.

It went throught the installation fine, but after it gone done installing, the screen wouldn't go away. No installation bar, nothing. So I thought it just froze or something. I tried running BF2 from the program files folder and it ran just fine. I played single player while I downloaded a patch.

Now when I tried to install the patch, it said that I never installed BF2 on my computer. I thought maybe something was wrong with the registry. I tried installing it again, not uninstalling, into the same folder. It did the same thing with the installation, froze. I checked my processes to find that my voice setup for it was running, but never came up. I ended that process and BOOM! The installer continued to ask me if I wanted to install gamespy and such. After that, everything worked fine and I'm having a blast playing BF2 with no lag (finally), roughly 3 to 4 years after I got it.

Well, I'm gonna try to play KoToR again.

The first time I tried was when I had it for the xbox. I got a good majority through the game, then when it got to a certain part of the story line it would freeze. Same spot, every time. Not like everything stops moving freeze though. It was during some dialog and it wouldn't go to the next line.

But enough about that. I now got it for the PC out of the pure need to finish the game.

The bad thing is, I have vista on this computer. I updated the game, and tried multiple different things to get it working. What I ended up having to do was set it to run in XP in the .exe's properties, and use a cracked .exe to even get it to start on vista. That is the only way that I've seen so don't get mad at me for using a cracked .exe.

Anyway, I hope to actually finish the game this time around.

EDIT: Well it turns out that I didn't really need the cracked .exe. I tried running the compatibility of the original .exe for xp, and it worked just fine. I'm just gonna do that with all the other 32 bit games that don't work on vista before I go searching online lol.

I got my new laptop today! I went and ordered it from best buy last night, they got all the crap off it and made it even more awesome, and now I have it online! Not wirelessly yet though, I can't get a good connection and I don't have wireless.

    Stats:

    • Manufacturer: Gateway
    • Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P8400 @ 2.26GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.3GHz
    • Memory: 4090MB RAM
    • Hard Drive: 307 G
    • Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GTS
    • Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Premium
    • Screen: 17 inch LCD
    • Awesome: Equipped

Anyway, I already installed a few games on it, and it runs soooo much better than my desktop. Loads stuff about 5 times faster, and virtually no lag. I can also run stuff at pretty much full graphics settings. I love it.

Today was my last day. After 2nd hour, I went into the gym with a bunch of my friends, where we got our robes and hat things with tassles and put them on. Then we did the senior walk, where I got to see all my friends and people I don't know who aren't seniors. Man I'm gonna miss them. After that I went to the senior picnic thing. It was kinda fun. I'll be going to a few people's open houses, so I'm sure I'll at least see them once more.

Now I need to start lookin for a job!

Oh, and the college I'm going to, its Michigan Tech.

I finally got to see my girl again! And it was well worth it.

Anyway, I started playing TF2 again, the day before the Sniper/Spy update came out. I just got the Huntsmans Bow today, and I REALLY like it. I already got all the other stuff from achievements, all but the scouts energy drink.

I don't know how much I'm gonna be on here, but I'm gonna try to check in every day or so.

I had to change the pic to this one lol. The other one had the F word in it.

No less than 4 days and I will be able to see her again. I may be able to go pick her up saturday morning and take her with me to my family's cottage, where my family will be for the weekend.

Now to clear things up a bit, "she" is a girl. This girl is pretty much the main reason why I haven't been on here for a long time.

I was in computer science class today, making a program that converts decimal to binary using loops. In order for it to do loops, I would need to use exponents. So I got the code all written down, and tried it out. Instead of something like 1000, I got 23. The only line of code that changes the output is this:

    intOut += 10^intIn

raising 10 to an integer exponent can never get you a number like 23. So I tried having it output 10^3. The output was 9.

    10^3 =\= 9

So I looked through the book, searching for anything about exponents. Found nothing in the index or anywhere. I then asked my teacher and showed him the code. I then searched through the Math functions, thinking that may have one. Found nothing once again. I asked my teacher about it, and he didn't know. He said he would have to look it up.

So I would like to ask anyone who knows anything about java, do you know if there is exponents in java?

I have a new favorite band, and they are...

I have over 14 hours worth of their songs on my computer now, and I've yet to find one I don't like. I've gone through about half of their albums too. I can't stop listening to them!!!

In kinda related news, I can now tremolo pick fast enough to play slayer songs.
