Comic-Con '07
The yearly Comic-Con has once again come to a close. It was just as fulfilling as the last year and there were endless amounts of things to see making me wish I had more time. The convention center was packed with a rumored 100,000 people clearly making it much more popular this year. I attended with two friends and even bumped into another at the con itself. We walked the halls from Thursday-Saturday covering the entire place and visiting all the booths. We were able to see many celebrities including 3 Star Trek cast member (including George Tekai), Lou Ferrigno and even Stan Lee, the legend himself. The number of people made it very hard to see each booth for very long so we had to settle for seeing a lot simply in passing. We saw some exciting new games including Star Wars: The Force unleashed and some cool time control game(can't remember the name). Also, some big name movie to look into that will be heading to theaters soon are Beowulf and, of course, Iron Man. Didn't take any pictures this year but they aren't that hard to find. Seeing all of the great cosplay and amazing people is like one giant cereal bowl full of artistic inspiration. It's enough to make anyone want to just go on a dawing spree and produce something amazing. I picked up some great Japanese manga style pens and nubs for better line work so I am enjoying those very much. It may look like I am inactive but I have a lot of new art to upload, I just haven't had the time to scan anything. I'll get on that asap and finish up my current requests (sorry I hav't worked on them
