  Top 14 Games to Look Forward to in the first half of 2010

  Even through this holiday season was great it would have been greater if not for all the delays*COUGH* Developers scared of Modern Warfare 2 lol *COUGH* so this is my personal list of games im looking forward to in the first half of next year which is looking alot like christmas. So let me begin!!

  14. Super Street Fighter IV

  

  I'm looking forward to SSFIV because i missed out on the first version of SFIV. Now that SSFIV has been announced i will definatley wait for this installment of the series because of better online options and more characters and the return of one of my favs Dee Jay

  13. MAG

  

  MAG is a game im not very sure about it sure it looks great and if this game succeeds it could mean the future of online multiplayer as we know it but i have my doubts. One 256 players at once i cant help but think loads of lag. Sure Zipper is talking about there revolutionary server system but i still have my doubts but hey if it works that would be amazing. Also another worry of mine is 256 players lol. Its just too many i cant help to expect complete chaos despite the enormous maps, u know gernade spam and just spawn camping like crazy. But hey if Zipper passes these 2 doubts of mine this could change online multiplayer as we know it

  12. Bayonetta

  

  Okay this game came on my list at the last minute. I just finished playing the demo about a hour ago and i must say this game was just complete fun. It was a challenge but if u fought patiently and fiercly button mashing and dodging this game would reward you with flashy combos and a fun expierence. That being said my brother has the DMC series and i would actually like to try that out first before making my decision on Bayonetta and if i get it i must decide weather i should get the supposdly better 360 version or the PS3 version. You must be saying get the 360 version but i dont know if can you guys know how much i dislike the 360 controller lol

  11. Brink

  

  Brink once again appeared on my list in the last minute. I just now finished watching my recoreded X-Play on my DVR a few minutes ago and all this week they had exclusive details on Brink and i must say like MAG this could change online multiplayer in a different type of way. First of all i loved the games stylized visuals i just love it. Also I love how you can play the whole entire campaign with a friend. You must be saying games have done this before but your wrong the people you are fighting in your campaign could be actual real players so you could play the whole entire campaign playing with real people and fighting againist real people thats just awesome. The character customization options i also loved every character will look completely different. My one worry is the free-running mechanic. It's basically like mirrors edge but simpler but is it too simple. You basically just have to hold one button and you either look up or down to while holding the button too get past obstacles but i have a feeling it wont work as planned. Either way i hope to see more of this game.

  10. Red Dead Redemption

  

  Red Dead Redemption is looking like it will be a great game. After watching the trailer on PSN a few months ago i have been watching this game intently. Reading all the previews that it has but one preview stood out above all others. The Game Informer preview just made it sound so awesome. This game will come down too two things a review and some damn gameplay footage people lol

  9. Battlefield: Bad Company 2

  

  If you know me well you will know the only three FPS that i have played for hours upon hours on end are Timesplitters 2, Killzone 2, and of course Battlefield 2(ive just noticed they were all twos ). Now Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is coming out and im looking forward to this game. I'm in the beta thanks to gamespot and i must say im loving it. The destruction system brings a whole nother level in terms of tactical gameplay. You want to attack the target from behind just blow up the building with a well placed gernade or a charge. This creates whole new routes you can make and if your a defending team makes a whole another level of how you will defend the target. So far im loving the beta and i havent gotten bored of it yet(and im also great at the game no suprise always #1 just like KZ2)

  8. White Knight Chronicles

  

  You guys know how i love my RPG's but White Knight Chronicles has my on the fence. The game looks beautiful and the gameplay looks fun but from what Famitsu said they were not fans of it what so ever and that brings up a red flag too me. If Famitsu doesnt like a RPG then houston we have a problem. I think this game will come down to a review for me and if it gets a review im not satisfied with ill probaly just wait for a price drop

  7. God of War III

  

  Do i really have to explain why God of War III is on the list????? lol. If you own any Sony console you must know that the God of War series is always the must own game of the system sure God of War is no where near my favorite series but i still love the games and the game just looks beautiful and of course brutal

  6. Alpha Protocol

  

  I was looking forward to this game very much but of course it had to get delayed You guys know how i like stealth action games(aka Assassins Creed and of course Metal Gear Solid) Now how bout a Stealth Action RPG. This is one of my main drawing points too the game. I really hope this game makes you feel like a James Bond or a Jason Bourne and also the stealth aspects of the game really shine.

  5. Heavy Rain: The Origami Killer

  

  This game is a bit of a curiosity of mine. Im not even sure ill even like Heavy Rain but it just sounds so COOL. I love how once your character dies they will stay dead this might add a whole nother level of characters of video games making you really feel for the character. The gameplay based on all QTE is my one worry of the game and its a big ONE worry. Will the QTE satisfy me cause i know the story will but will the QTE keep me playing the story. Either way im looking forward to probably the most unique game ever.

  4. Darksiders

  

  This could be the sleeper hit of 2010 and very early in 2010. When i first saw this game at E3 two years ago i didnt give a rats ass about the game i just thought it was a God Of War clone. But now thanks to recent previews and the companys constant advertising all over the place im starting to like this game. Sure its still a God of War clone but it also hints of a Zelda Clone too. So a God of War game mixed with a Zelda game spells win for me. The action looks over the top and kind of challenging but not as challenging as bayonetta. The puzzle aspects are the Zelda part of me. These puzzles make me think of the Zelda brain testing puzzles that i have given up on for days at a time just to figure out a few days later that it was as simple as flipping that switch and jumping on that platform. The boss battles remind me of God of War and the combat too so expect some memorable battles out of this one. Am I the only one looking forward too this game.

  3. Mass Effect 2

  

  This list wouldnt have been complete without a little Mass Effect 2 now wouldnt it. I just recently played the first Mass Effect just a few months ago so the game is still fresh in my head. The game was Biowares best work and really is only WRPG that i have liked just as much as a JRPG. The only game that the moral system worked just as it was promised too. The decisions you make would always impact the story and i loved that and i cant wait for my decisions from the first one to carry over to the second one and see what my world of Mass Effect has become. Also on a side note Tali is back WOO now lets just hope Wrex makes a comeback and Team NuKkU will be back in action!

  2. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker

  

  Did you guys really expect me to forget the prequel to my favorite game series ever.......I think not. I have no doubt in my mind this game will live up to my expectations cause it always does so no worries there. My only two worrys is not related to the game whatsoever. My first worry i gave my PSP to my brother who lives in another state lol i just hope ill be able to get my PSP back by then My second worry is connecting to the internet. If you guys have wondered why i have never played my PSP on the internet is because my wireless connection has all its slots filled two is for my computer and my dads computer one is for my dads work laptop one is for my PS3 and i think the other two is filled by the 360 and my dads other laptop. So yeaaaa a game which highly emphasizes on Co-Op i defintatley need to get my PSP internet up and running

  1. Final Fantasy XIII

  

  Did you guys really expect any other game too be #1. If you guys know me you guys know how much i hated FFXII. It was a abomination of the final fantasy series because of its horrible story VERY boring gameplay and well the whole entire thing i hated. Well it looks from all the trailers that FFXIII will live up to the hype and hopefully redeem itself onto my top spot on my favorite game series. This will definatley be a must buy for me the only hard thing is too wait lol

  Well that is my list i know you guys must be saying "Where's Bioshock 2?!?!?!" well im not interested in the bioshock series what so ever and this is my list sooooo yea. Now tell me what you think should be on the list and also tell me what you thought of my list and of course you can discuss the games on my list and the games you like next year

  My Christmas List

  Well its getting to that time of year again so yea time to make my christmas list tell me what you all think of it. You guys may remember my last christmas list and yes it was wayyyyy to much so i shortened this one so some games might not be on here including one bigge R&C A Crack in Time even thru i REALLY want this i still havent gotten QfB so ill wait and i probably still wont get all my games on this list lol so without further ado lets begin

  1. Assassins Creed 2

  

  This was actually my most anticpated game of the year so yea im DEFINATLY getting this game cause i LOVED the first one if the second one is as good as the first then this will definatly jump in my top ten favorite franchises you all know what number 1 is(hint its MGS) and this game has similarties to the series. A GREAT storyline and stealth and action gameplay. So yea I WILL GET THIS GAME

  2. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

  

  Do i really even have to explain myself. Its the game to have the most perfect scores on megacritic i heard it has a very cinematic campaign ten times better then the original and the original was quite good it feels just like a movie except your playing it. Also it has great multiplayer

  3. Lost Odyssey

  

  Okay the reason why this game is on my list is because ive been holding out on this game for FAR TOO LONG I will get this game for christmas i will!!!!!. I heard its the best RPG on the 360 and its lots of fun and is one great JRPG so i will get it ive been holding out on this game always saying ill get it next time but i never get it i will get it for Christmas(hopefully......... )

  4. Dragon Age Origins

  

  Okay like Uncharted do i really even have to explain. Its a LONG JRPG ive heard with loads of sidquests and if u wanna get the full experience requires multiple playthroughs. Its made by Bioware the only company(besides blizzard with Diablo) that makes WRPG's that i actually like as much as JRPG so i have to get this game

  And thats it im probably gonna ask for some new shoes cause im like a chick when it comes to shoes(i love shoes what can i say lol just look at Adrian Peterson im not the only one that likes shoes but im no where near as bad as him) so yea alot better then my last christmas list

  Gonna be gone for a couple of days

  Yup going to Missouri for Thanksgiving wont be back till i think Friday or Saturday one of those days so dont think ive up and left so see you guys later and have a great thanksgiving
