Cheddar Cheese and Bacon stuffed hamburger patties. I got 'em.

So yeah. Went to the grocery store today. Just uh... yeah you know, just shopping around for some food and uh... Hm. There it is. Just laying there in that freezer in the meat section. A box of hamburger patties. Stuffed with cheese. And Bacon. Yep.

My first reaction was one of shock. I couldn't believe what I was looking at. I mean... I've never seen anything like this before.

Of course, I was curious. So I bought a box. Impressions incomming!

    Finished Indigo Prophecy last night...

Ok, I love me a good story in a game. I love crazy stories. Hell I love ridiculous stories. A lot of the time I'm willing to ignore some of the flaws or contradictions or dues ex machinas in a story. But Indigo Prophecy... What the hell man.

The game was really cool and interesting up until the part where Lucas turned into Superman and started... doing all that crazy stuff. Disarming cops, throwing them through buildings, jumping onto helicopters, dodging bullets, dodging oncoming traffic, back flipping over a bridge... I understood why he was able to do all this but... it seemed like a bit much. For the whole game to seem grounded in reality and then BAM we've got dudes backflipping over bridges onto a train... I don't know, it's kind of awkward.

Then what happened to Tyler? I chose for him to stay in New York with us because I liked him, I wanted him to stay in the story with me. But after that scene I literally NEVER see him again. So it's like he leaves the story no matter what? What the hell man? If you're going to make your game all about choice and have a wide open story like this, at least give the player control over it. :/

And then the boss battle with the oracle dude... Oh man. I found myself throwing around the phrases "Best game ever!" and "Worst game ever!" in that same scene. I didn't know what to think of it. It was hilariously awesome... But also mad stupid.

But you know what? It was really unique, entertaining and for the most part i felt like I had control over everything. That's a great feeling to have. So despite the game turning into some crazy... mess, I felt it was a really good game. I'll give it an 8.5.

    First impressions on Indigo Prophecy

Well I've been playing the game for a couple hours and uhm... wow. I could tell this game was going to be awesome from the opening cutscene. I knew the game was going to be one of those... "Everything is up to you! Everything you do effects the story!" but I was not expecting this... I mean, you can literally do... anything. And beyond this, the story and plot looks very interesting. I can't wait to delve deeper into this.

And for the bad stuff... well there really isn't that much. I have some small issues controlling the character. Like sometimes your character won't walk in the direction that you're pushing the analog stick to for some reason.

And also... not a fan of the main character, Lucas. The dude is just... a really boring, average guy. Like I know He's supposed to be. Quantic Dream wanted to make a story of extraordinary things happening to ordinary people right? (Sounds like something I heard in an interview about Heavy Rain, coincidentally). Yeah I get that but... could they at least try and make the guy likable? He's got an almost empty apartment filled with ikea furniture, a stereo with literally four songs on it, no friends, still can't get over a 2 year old break up with his average looking girlfriend, all he has in his refrigerator is a carton of milk and his cupboards are filled with... Cans of duck? I don't know there's a bunch of cans that says "Duck" on it. :s I don't know... Hopefully he develops a personality further into the game.
