Anyone know how to fix a messed up 360 controller?

Okay, well about 15 minutes ago I wanted to play some Call of Duty 4 and as I started to play, the right trigger wouldn't register. It didn't stick, it's just that when I pushed it, it wouldn't shoot my weapon. I kept pushing it and then it started to fire and wouldn't stop, so then it wouldn't stop registering the right trigger. I turned off everything, tried it again and it started to work, that only lasted about 30 seconds. It started to continually register the right trigger.
