I saw Transformers the other day, and it was FREAKING AWESOME, sure it has alot of suggestive content that parents might want to think twice before taking their little kids to see the robots smash each other alot of repetitive overdramatic screaming, and apparently I missed this but a camara scheme tha might make people dizzy, but asid from hearing all those constant critics I still think the story was pretty awesome, the actin was alright, and thevisuals looked phenomenal (though I've even heard critics about the visuals, everybodies a critic )

also saw Up and was exsactly the kind of greatness that I was expecting from piixar but not in the way that I expected it still a pretty decent movie and a must see film

and what Else, oh I saw th proposal as well, very funny

and I got a taste of the conduit a few days ago, can't wait to play more

Sonic spinoffs...

Guess I'll go from as far back as I can remember

Sonic Drift: meh, Mario Kart was better but it wasn't a bad game, needed a better sense of speed though

Sonic Labyrinth: No, just no...

Sonic fighters: I be4t Mr. T got a laugh out of this...

uhh, let's see... ummm, Sonic R: horrible... Horrible music (nanananaaa, super sonic racing....) GET OFF OF MY HEAD!!!

ok, now on to the serious part of the spinoffs...

after a whole slew of what seemed (or rather WERE!) like they were made to insult and/or demeen us, Sega finally showed us some decent sonic spinoff: Sonic Riders.

Unlike Sonic Drift, Riders contained the missing element of speed, plus an uniqwue way of showing it, then add some creaqtive stages and a few new characters and you got a decent spinoff

I haven't played SR:ZG enough to have a decent opinion of it, but from what I've heard it's more of the same with a more complex story, for those who played it, is this true? does it still contain the essense of speed (I sure hope so) and s the story atleast somewhat worthwhile?

Sonic handhelds

I really don't want to go into detail here cause every purist can just go do that for me *points at Sonic unions and fansites* but I'll say the utmost truth about them all (Note: these are the only one I've played so I can't add on games I never had a chance to expirience)

Sonic the hedgehog 1,2 Game gear: In does days, nothing was cooler than playing Sonic 2 at night with my monstrous Game Gear w/magmifying glass (people laugh) I know.., it's hilarious

Sonic Advance 1&2: great reinventing of overall presentation, same nostalgic gameplay, highly original to their predesessors, and great music to boot.

Sonic Rush: Do you know the adrenaline rush you get when your over-exited, thenyou know what I think of this game, though some boss battles needed more work, it was an overall succes in Sonic's transition from GBA to DS

(haven't played SA3 nor SRA, sorry)

I've been keeping my eye on him for quite a while as people speculate that he is either burning or is already dead, I would say Sonic has had one too many failed attempts at success.

Hear me out

Ever since Sonic attempted to jump onto the 3D,alot of douth has sorrounded the blue blur as well as alot of overexpectations for the little guy, and once Sonic Adventure came out, those douths were washed away in an instant. though it's gameplay was a bit far from perfect but it was a really good game nonetheless.

then after some time passed came Sonic adventure 2 which can most arguably be called the best 3D sonic game. and people became overhyped at how awesome the next Sonic adventure could be, there minds were shattered at the sight of Sonic Heroes, you were forced to play in three player teams in four seperate stories which consist of playing the same stages with some minor goal alterations and dificulty levels. the game is (to me) considered an overall success, but to many hardcore (hate this word) Sonic fanboys, it was leading the franchize into a spiraling decline, and they were even more dissapointed once they heard the fated words: Shadow the Hedgehog

A game which finally cleared the jumbalaya of a mess that was Shadow the hedgehogs overcomplicated (yet extremely awesome) story, but aside from the story, it had an incredibly repetitive styIe of gameplay, with what seemed to be useless gameplay functions, and concidered by most (if not all) to be considered as the third worst Sonic game of all time.

at this point we thought it couldn't get any worst, well Sonic 06 reared it's ugly head and kicked while we were down. with what we can all agree on was a "broken" or "unfinished" game, it's another step closer to what some call "the death of the Hedgehog"

But although Sonic 06 almost single handily annihalated the Sonic franchise (to most Fanboys points of view) we still saw a small flicker of hope with Sonic and the Secret Rings, although that game also had a few minor flaws, it still showed great promise, with unique features which were new to the Sonic series, it seemed like sega was trying to keep their mascot alive.

a few years later, Sega gave us some aspiring good news, the Sonic franchise was gonna reinvent itself as new game mechanic known as the "hedgehog engine" and it got us all exited from what the new game mechanic would be, and this time, we were right. The hedgehog engine was a success, but... sadly, Sega had to try another "unique" method to draw out our attention, and added a werehog into the mix, which again spurred the rage of the sonic fanbase since the formula was nearly perfected and it only made the hedgehog engine to be a simple "test run" compared to all of the platforming aspects of the werrehog parts of the game.

and also came into the mix: Sonic chronicles: the dark brotherhood, a seemingly odd combination of the worlds fastest hedgehog with a slow-pased world of a RPG, but it went rather well despite all of the negative feedback from most of the core Sonic fanbase. the game showcased another promising story and a better than expected gameplay, yet somehow didn't hit the nail with them.

and last but not least comes the second game in the storybook Series, Sonic and the Black knight. to start things off...

so aside from the purists consistant complaining>_>

the game was a fair enough presentation of a medieval Sonic story, but the overused wiimote functions made the game seem more tedious than enjoyable...

why am I prolonging this and getting into the point?

(yes, I tend to overexplain my point before I tell it, sorry)

(no need to disscus the Sonic advance and Sonic Rush series cause those games are just plain awesome, Sonic Riders is clarly a spinoff though I can talk about it if you guys want, but don't see a need to Sonic Rivals will not be disscused since I've never played them)

just about two weeks left of college to go and though I thought the presure was getting to me, Life gave me a lucky break, I got my COBOL test to GO

I already did it, a garrantied A baby (once I finish some word problems)

and I'm guessing my Birthday won't be too good this year since I'll be spending it giving an oral report, reviwing for 3 tests, and finishing up 3 COBOL proyects, and 2 Stadicstics proyects as well

From what I've seen from all 3 consoles, I would have to say that the overall best console is the PS3

with a great controller, a blue ray player, and a bunch of other stuff, it's simply the best overall console at the moment

but my Favorite is the wii, simple yet fun gameplay coupled with Ninty's workmanship make for a powerfull combination!

Yeap, I finally beat the crapout the Final boss of RE5 and LOVED the ending, it was WiCkEd SiCk (chillpill quote)

I might review it, might not, just depends on my mood, which is rather down latetly, life is being a pain!

and I had a few chances to play Co-op, it was freaking sweet, but sadly my connection droped at Some points screwing up my gameplay>_>

oh well, but I found a better way to connect, to my own Connection, and without da Router

I also tried out some of the features of the PS network, PS home is alright, and messing around with te Browser was fun though annoying to type and post comments/blogs on GS.

I'm thinking of getting the RE5 DLC once I get some spare cash, Buying the PS3 left me Drained

my Easter was pretty Boring since I spent it spring cleaning, and I didn't eat any candy!

and as I stated previously, life has been a huge pain for me latetly, let's just say I have alot on my plate and no clue how to get rid of it all
