  my sweet conroe!

  computers finally done!

  OH MY GOD!!! I had such a hard time putting together this computer. The origional bios that came w/ my motherboard didn't recognize the CPU so i had to use a different CPU to load XP and stuff. Then I updated the bios and turned it off. I took out my crappy CPU fan and took out the old CPU. Then I put in the new CPU and started putting back the fan. It turns out the screws of the fan were bent so I took like half an hour just bending them back and trying to put the fan back in. After much screaming and frustration the CPU fan was finally locked in. Im never messing with that thing again. I turned on my computer and ha le lu ya! It worked! Now I have one of the first Conroe machines! Man I wish i had a better CPU fan. Not only is it really hard to install to the MoBo, but it also has crappy cooling. My CPU IDLE temprature is like 50 degrees C!!! I expected it to be like 35!!! Oh well, in the end I got a kick-ass computer...

  Soon to be rig... I hope...

  My parents have been holding back the purchase of my new pc parts. I really want to build it, but theyr so dang greedy!

  Intel Conroe (Core Duo 2)
  Intel Badaxe MoBo
  Cooler Master UFO Dual-Core-Compatible Fan
  2x1 GB PQI Ram
  Evga nVidia 7600GT CO 256 MB
  Seagate 80 GB HDD
  
  I already have the processor and the MoBo. Im not sure if they will buy it this summer... I really need it! Im haveing trouble playing HALO on my computer! Its really sad!
